More like big-foot-impostor-wannabe for me.
Oh well, after I saw Gendo in the shaving cream advertisement, such minor things do not shock me.

I'll admit, the robe is a teensy bit big on this Microman figure, but to be fair there aren't a lot of softgoods options in that scale.More like big-foot-impostor-wannabe for me.

I have a question in regards to Evangelion. Does this look like it would fit in an Evangelion setting?

I mean, it looks to me a bit like "Arael as drawn by Kentaro Miura".
On that note, how would Arael's mental attack compare to Its main attack?I mean, it looks to me a bit like "Arael as drawn by Kentaro Miura".
First off to me it looks more like someone took the Angel Of Curb-stomping and added Arael designs to it to make something more glorious. And i gotta say, i like the image.I mean, it looks to me a bit like "Arael as drawn by Kentaro Miura".
You're good, you're good, just pace yourself and you'll make it through the latest lap.Pantwheezegasp
I have finished reading the first 1,000 pages of this thread. Time to see if I can get fully caught up by the New Year...
"News just in - local boy found splattered all over the pavement, having apparently fallen from above. Witnesses report he appeared disoriented, possibly even drunk..."
You honestly have more guts than I do to raise a nearly 7 y.o reply from the grave to make a pun. Bravo. You could say he was... floundering.
Yes, I necro replied just to make that pun.

Hmmm, the basic idea of SEELE's Instrumentality and the Ragnarök Connection do seem remarkably similar.I have a question in regards to Advice and trust. How likely do you think that Gendo's or Seele's fate would be similar to Charles Zi Britannia from Code Geass?

So what I'm hearing is that someone who knows Code Geass should drop Charles into a room with Gendo and Gabriel for them to compare notes![]()
Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir. (a.k.a. Miraculous Ladybug)
I was thinking in the vein of my short where Gabriel and Gendo are the nominees for a Father of the Year award, complete with incredulous reactions from Adrien and Shinji
Mid-90s were packed with mech action animated dramas. There was huge interest in Macross Plus Voices, Gundam Wing Rhythm Emotion and NGE Cruel Angel Thesis at the onset of Napster. Geass raws were hitting the early YouTube I mean airing, immediately before Evangelion first Rebuild but borrowed more from GW.I watched Code Geass before Eva (well, at least before I completely understood Eva) and I can say without a doubt Code Geass is just Eva if instead of being about Instrumentality (read: Anno's depression) it was about politics and revolution (with a side of magic). Like even in the English dub they got Spike to voice one of the characters who is almost 1:1 Shinji but evil. Code Geass is undeniably inspired heavily by Eva.
Oh right. I sometimes forget about current shows. Also to add a bit more to a previous post of mine, I can't help but imagine Gendo and Charls Zi Britannia working together. I chalk it up to playing various Super Robot Wars games.Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir. (a.k.a. Miraculous Ladybug)

Sax parts from Gerry Rafferty's "Baker Street" or from Wham!'s "Careless Whisper"?Everyone forgets about poor RahXephon (aka, what would happen if, before creating an anime, Anno got good treatment and therapy for the depression... and also he took up the saxophone as part of the therapy)

However, Anno certainly got inspired by the hype and allure of Sunrise's Geass, leading to ANIMA at least. Oh, he started working with them on SBY 2199, then they did Geass remake (Fukkatsu no Lelouch in early 2019).
But, 2019 was Netflix rebroadcasting the classic Evangelion with crisp video codec. 👨🍳
So, yeah.
