This was probably in an ancient page, but what brought upon Sayaka and Kyoko's inclusion to the fic? Like just shoving 2 Madoka characters to ship with Kensuke wouldn't have come to my mind unless someone told me to, which is what I think happened, but I'd just like to ask.

I'd initially asked a friend if I could have two of their OCs cameo here, but they declined, and suggested the PMMM girls instead. Since KSK was more or less supposed to just be a background gag, I figured 'why not?'. KSK becoming a bigger thing made it a little odd in hidnsight, but after all the fics where Kensuke got made fun of as the never-a-Pilot, military otaku who never got a date, it felt nice to let him deal with a pair of girlfriends who actually liked him in spite of their initial plans.

Nice! How close or far away is A&T from being finished? I only recently finished what you have so far and really wanna see what happens at the end, but life is life and if that's interrupting you, I completely understand.

According to the plan, Chapter 12 is supposed to be the last main chapter. Possibly two or three epilogues. But keep in mind that my plan for Chapter 8 (for example) did not involve it becoming novel-length. So we are in the last Chapter but no guarantees about how long that Chapter will be.
This is also assuming I don't get sidetracked by other projects or something. Part of what got me to finally finish writing ACoS was to get it out of the way.

hangover is not a future of A&T. It is a future of a timeline somewhat like A&T but where the relationship-building didn't rely on a scenario where the nat1 on Asuka's Wisdom check was salvaged by Shinji rolling a nat1 on a Dexterity check.

Hangover assumes an on-and-off relationship between Shinji and Asuka across the five or six years after the Angel War, interspaced with them having short relationships with Rei and Kaworu before the Vegas trip happened. This contrasts starkly with A&T firm Asuka/Shinji and Kaworu/Rei separate relationships. So, even if some things may be similiar (after all, all of the characters had the same starting point), I expect a very different ending.
There was a useful timeline graph demonstrating how distant those were, it was posted here several dozen pages ago, I can't find it right now.

Yeah, essentially as introduced, Kyoko and Sayaka were intended to be a one-off joke where two of Kensuke's pursuers decided to dye their hair to look like Asuka and Rei, and live out the Israfel Special for real with Kensuke. Given that that's what the entire class believed was going on with Shinji, Asuka and Rei, it was kind of hilarious that the hopeless nerd and unlikeable pervert would end up lucking out.
And due to Rei's machinations, at that...
Stryp's original intentions aside, obviously the concept grew, as I'm sure (cause this has happened to me) the characters had their own ideas about who they wanted to be. And coming up with a reason why this wish-fulfillment fantasy would actually come to pass led to the reasonable development that Kyoko and Sayaka were involved in a secret relationship that they enlisted Kensuke's help in keeping secret. Kensuke turned out to be a good guy about it, their friendship grew until K&S began to develop into an attraction to Kensuke, and they eventually decided to try their threesome for real.
To me, that it kind of developed organically made it realistic, and is probably a sign that it's the real thing and is going to last. Plus, I kind of consider it the most stable and cutest of all the relationships in the story. It's not really based on trauma, as with everyone else, just mostly mutual cooperation and respect.
Of course, making them the NGE universe counterpart of PMMM's Kyoko and Sayaka added depth to the characters, but Stryp hasn't actually confirmed the connection in his canon. (That's only been confirmed in Chronicles) And it actually works just as well to have them just two girls who resemble Kyoko and Sayaka, just as they resemble Asuka and Rei. What's important is who they are in the story.

You know i can't help but want to see this part of their relationship. We only really got two side stories that detail their relationship in any solid form and they were...well a "start" and...a really big step that can count as an "end" of their bond reaching their max(as in the only other thing i can think of that actually fits that would be them getting married but...well their 14(...right?)) yet i and everyone loved them. So seeing the rest would probably be just as fun.
...I thought he did conform it? Not in an actual chapter, but in a Q&A session.

They're 15, keeping with the 'Strype bumped everyone by a year' rule for A&T in general.
(I just went and looked up Sayaka and Kyoko's actual birthdays for this part. Kyoko is May 20th, so Kensuke and Sayaka have a couple months to find presents. Ken and Sayaka are Sept 12th and 20th.
)I will confirm at least that (assuming 3rd Impact doesn't disincorporate everyone, or Kaworu Loses His Mind and ends the world, etc.) KSK will happily last through High School and has a substantial chance of making it through college if they either go to the same school or stay in close contact.

I'm fairly sure things like 'screams carefully' are just narrative sarcasm. I've done something similar ("Wstfgl," was Asuka's eloquent reply).
