Really, Kaworu's gonna gib like at least four people. Wouldn't be surprised if his secrets are spilled in the process.

It's just going to cut to Rei relaxing in a hospital bed playing Doom :p
Asuka: "What is this and why have I not played it yet?"
Rei: DOOM, and probably because I had to reach into the future of an alternate timeline to get it. Only got the quantum mechanics down last night when I was passed out.
Shinji: "What."
Rei: "What?"
Asuka: "I'm sorry, what mechanics?"
Rei, with Maximum Puppy Dog Eyes: "Asuka, my water's empty, could you go get a refill and a pudding cup?"
Asuka, lovestruck and tripping over herself in her haste: "Of course, Beib, anything for you!" *exit*
Shinji: "...Did she just call you 'Babe'?"
Rei: "Close enough."

And the 1993 original wasn't?

It was but, honestly, I wouldn't boot it up again after playing through the remake. Kinda similar to the case of Old!XCOM and the New!XCOM / Xenonauts.

Doesn't help that I always enjoyed Quake more, or Duke3D. But that's sort of deraily so I'll stop here.

That's something that irks me, when fans of the original get butthurt because the remake isn't as cumbersome as piloting a nuclear submarine.

As for A&T, I doubt SEELE would kill Unit-00 considering they still have 2 Angels to kill and Gendo's only willing to use 2 without it.

I'm having sudden flashbacks Worf... 'Blood, Pain, Sacrifice, Anguish, and Death. Sounds like marriage alright.'

Great, now I'm having Monty Python flashbacks.

"Good evening and welcome to 'Blood, Devastation, Death, War and Horror.' And later on we'll be talking to a man who actually does gardening, but first..."

Here's some more pictures!
Here's Shinji and Rei sharing a somewhat-awkward, somewhat sweet sibling hug between each other. (They can technically be considered brother and sister in my book.)

Here's Shinji and Rei (or Kyu) listening to one of his cassettes on his SDAT player.

And here's a close up of them.
I always think that Shinji would use his SDAT player to not only tune out the world, but also to help him calm down, fall asleep, help relieve stress, and other things that people use music for. Also in my headcannon, Kaworu isn't so much unable to create music as much as any music he DOES create always sounds like a crude rip-off of indescribable beauty of human bonds. He already has been shown as, like Rei, being able to sense bonds between people. But by hearing them instead of seeing them as Rei does. (I always think that it's something that they can toggle on and off and can choose what sense they perceive A.T. Fields and human bonds with. With hearing them simply being his favorite, And seeing them being Rei's favorite.) the only problem with this is that these metaphysical bonds between humans, formed by love, are INDESCRIBABLE in their beauty. And, like I said earlier any music Kaworu tries to make, to him always feels like it's a cheap knock-off that is nowhere near the beauty of the real thing. Rei might have the same problem with art when she tries to draw what human bonds look like to her .

Anyway, here's some more art of Rei and her little sister, Kyu, from the Lighter and Softer Rebuild 3 Continuity.

In this picture, Rei and Kyu are hugging.

here's an image of Rei resting her head on Kyu's lap. After recovering from an injury by the looks of it. While her "younger" sister looks on.

Here we have Rei giving Kyu some food she cooked. (In my headcannon, they both have the same culinary skills as Shinji does in the fanfic: "You Are (Not) at Fault" by MisterHalt. As does Shinji himself, of course.)

That's all I got this time. Next time I'm posting some art of Shinji and Kaworu.

This is true, it even happens as a series evolves. Something like Resident Evil and its tank controls as an example. Like they worked for the time but now they just feel horrendous, what we have now is better. With that said though I do think the original Doom has held up pretty well, depending on which of the 3 million or so ports you play.

More on topic though, I do wonder just what sort of damage SEELE will cause with this attack. Not just physically to Unit 00/Lillith or the clones but also between the characters. I feel like this might end up forcing a few secrets to come to the surface early. I dread to think what Gendo might do if he learns the truth about what has been happening with Rei/Ritsuko and the others.

That last one makes it appear more like shes trying to bite his ear off.
