Is that still canon? I thought Valve had to officially retract that because having a playable character strongly implied to be a Nazi war criminal was bad publicity.

Asuka's thought process at the moment:
#1: Get Rei help!!!
#2: Find out what happened to Rei.
#3: Find out if someone was responsible for what happened, and if so, who.
#4: Introduce them to Mama. (Optional) Get Shinji and Kaworu to help.

I just had this horrible mental image of the Germany army and the JGSDF fighting together and the Japanese being like 'WHY do the Germans keep yelling 'What?!' when they get hit - your bleeding! Its what bullets do to you!'

Here's a picture of Rebuild Asuka without her eye patch and with both eyes visible. (In the lighter and softer version of Rebuild 3 that the other pictures I posted are from she would only wear it because her half-sister, Mari tells her she looks cool wearing it and complains about her not wearing it when piloting Unit-02)

I know you're kidding, but this is actually why people will yell out the longer four-syllable word: more consonants, carries louder over a long distance and noise.

If you hear someone bellow "SANITÄTER!" at the top of their lungs in a crowd, this turns heads, while "SANI!" might get mistaken for other words or some sort of wordless shout. The latter is more of a conversational nickname for the job and work.

Random and mostly unimportant question:

Back in 7.8, during the fight with Zeruel, Rei noted that Asuka had just won a bet with her about whether "Hey, stupid!" worked on getting an Angel's attention. Rei was able to meet with Asuka and Shinji only briefly afterwards before she went into the brain upload and healing tank for a week, and she had bigger issues (like detox) after she got out.

Did Rei ever get the chance to settle up?:D
