"Stop Hijiri from leaving" isn't one thing?
Cleanse is a free action. Everything else comes after "stop Hijiri from leaving"
What am I doing wrong?
E: red-wearing ninjas it's naruto all over again
Can Sabrina do antimagic? Because if so, Anti-Magic box to force her to revert. Then just keep her in it until Sabrina decides it's a good time to unpack her new limited edition Hijiri figure.
I wonder tackling Hijiri would work...
I kinda want to vote for that to see what happens
Sabrina: [Tackles Hijiri] .... I can't believe that worked.
Hijiri: LET GO OF ME YOU -
Sabrina: I'm sorry
Hijiri: For what?
Sabrina: ... in totality or just the last few minutes?
No, but it might get absorbed into her soul gem. Assuming that's a thing that can happen. Have we tested it?and even in the event that she can, numbing our control of grief isn't going to make her not buried in the stuff.
This is:No, but it might get absorbed into her soul gem. Assuming that's a thing that can happen. Have we tested it?
[X] Gem Hijiri.
[X] Simultaneously:
-[X] Ask the Pleiades to pick up Hijiri. Explain she tried to escape.
-[X] Ask Mami to guard Hijiri until she's picked up.
-[X] Go face Anri alone.
-[X] Ask Oriko if she could talk Anri down, and what does she need in that case.
[X] Grief armor underlayer., and protect your Gem.
[X] If Oriko answered...
-[X] No: Gem Anri with extreme prejudice.
-[X] Yes: Try to comply if Oriko had any instructions, and buy time for her to arrive.
--[X] Potential actions (Anri):
---[X] Re-introduce yourself. Apologize for earlier.
---[X] Ask about her. Who is she; what does she want; why does she believe Kyuubey.
--[X] Ask Mami to provide sniper support, outside hearing range, just in case.
Should be sound.Vote said:-[X]Once she's trapped, rearrange it internally to conduct sund so you can talk to her
You nearly slump over as the sensation dies away, but immediately start subtly entrapping Anri.
So... just to throw this out there, what if, from now on, whenever we confront someone hostile, if they don't respond well enough to talking at the start, we concentrate on disabling them as humanely as possible, and leave the amateur therapy for... later?
We have this thing where we'd like to solve everything by talking, but that only works on some people, doesn't it? At the very least, I think we've got enough bad experiences trying battlefield therapy to change our overall approach?
Furthermore, what if we try to make Oriko tag along on future 'missions'? We could, if possible, before engaging a (group of) meguca, consult with Oriko about aggressive Social, and when it is appropriate to employ it. Though I could see us following her lead in such occassions, more than having her help us.
Yeah, we've probably been over-lenient with Hijiri especially, and shock-and-awe tactics are generally pretty good at cutting through this sort of melodramatic teenage horseshit. Perhaps it would be enlightening to her to explain what happened the last time a couple magical girls attacked our friends. There were no pleasant conversations involved; we just teleported on top of them, shattered one's knee with a hammer, and sawed the other nearly in half with a machine gun. We're friends now. Ironically, they still put up more of a fight, despite being just as green and having to eat a surprise round.So... just to throw this out there, what if, from now on, whenever we confront someone hostile, if they don't respond well enough to talking at the start, we concentrate on disabling them as humanely as possible, and leave the amateur therapy for... later?
