[X] Let Sabrina take lead again
[X] Hijiri
-[x] Ribbon Mummy the Girl
[X] Anri
-[x] Ribbons are sharp. Invisible ribbons are sharper.

There was a single moment when we could have hugged everyone. Do you imagine how much SAN we could get?
But no, let's have Sabrina take the lead again.
It's just sad.

We've already got her ribboned, we just need to turn that ribbon conductive and ground it.

[X] turn ribbon into wire. create leydon jar from ribbons to keep her in.

"Hijiri, help me," Sabrina says urgently. And at the same time, you feel her pull her magic back. "Don't. We don't have to fight. Nobody has to lose."

You nearly slump over as the sensation dies away, but immediately start subtly entrapping Anri.

Hijiri and Sabrina stare each other down for a few moments.

"Hijiri, please," she says. "You can have your peaceful life. But as much as I want to, I can't give it to you, or to Anri or to the Pleiades."

Your ribbons start rubbing against one another, gathering charge. Changing their conductivity does little to change their appearance, although you'll have to hope Anri doesn't notice the slight fuzziness where the ribbons connect - otherwise you'd have to flood them with magic for charge, and that would sing to her like any large magical work.

Then again... Anri seems to be slowing down?

"You can't give me what I want," Hijiri says with a bitter smile - and dissolves into a blinding streak of lightning.

[ ] Get Anri RIGHT NOW

[ ] Focus on Hijiri, she's the mastermind

[ ] Why does Sabrina look so willing to just let her go?!

((I of course can't write these immediately after Firn posts, so any votecrafting above this post can also be assumed to happen after this in character, savvy?))

(( yeah, I don't want to hear about "arrogant beta-readers" each time I want to comment on the latest chapter. :p ))

I think Ribbon mummying everyone is still an option. We gave Sabrina a chance, now let's do things our way.

I'm guessing that she is.

However, I'm not sure that this is due to Sabrina's knowledge, or her Emiya complex.

If it's the former, then that is just fine. Hijiri must just need some time before she reforms. However, if it's the latter, I'm not sure what to do.

If we let her go now, she will probably attack us again later on. However, if we go THREAT ELIMINATED on her self-righteous ass, then Sabrina might start viewing us as violent and paranoid and leave us!

As a self-note, does anyone have any theories as to why Hijiri is so...angsty? I know she was is literally created as a teenager, complete with angst, and is suffereing from existential crisis, but even taking that in account, she is acting like...well, actually like Mami when she has extremely low SANS. Doesn't seem like the whole 'wishborn' thing would cause that much SANs loss tho, maybe Anri also told her another secret, like the Soul Gem thing?

Maybe this is one of those settings where artificial humans really *aren't* as good as the real thing and psychological instability is part of the package.

((Why hello? Yes this is Hijiri's fears about how others view her and maybe even subconsciously her fears about how reality works speaking.:V))

Like those "Gangers" from a couple years back in Doctor Quest? How they were kinda... unstable? (Both mentally and physically.)

Granted, it's a different situation. The Gangers had each other, and later governments pushing for their independence. Here, we don't know whether there are any Wishborn on the same continent (theories about Sabrina aside), and, well...

Hijiri hurt our friends. She isn't getting away with that.

What if it turns out the only reason Sabrina loves us is that she's screwed up in the head due to being an artificial human?

Then she loves us, and we just have to make sure that her insanity does not make her a danger to herself or others.

[X] BLASTER THREE STARLIGHT BREAKER
-[X] Line up Hijiri and Anri for maximum Befriending!

Hey.

We don't have no energy blasts around here.

We use ribbons, or kinetic impactors- IE, bullets.

If we want to Befriend someone, we're going to use the old standby, Tiro Finale.

Oh, hey, I think I found where the name of the spinoff came from. For reference, this is during the "negotiations" in Sendai. (For those who don't remember: "Negotiations" is in quotes because Akiko was demanding 30 Grief Seeds from meguca who she had already been bleeding dry.)
"My end of the bargain is peace," Sabrina says. "Because all this... thisness-" she waves her hand in a sweeping motion, "-sucks. Magical girl fighting magical girl over Grief Seeds. You've seen what I can do, and I see no reason I can't break this system. Or at least, I damned well mean to try."
Uh, sorry for the double post, but I felt it was reasonable given the wildly different topic from my last post.

((Edit was me remembering to change from second to third person.))
