Our only cover if we bring it up is 'that Witch killed Yuuri'. We should very much not bring up the Seed until after Airi is deal with, even if it means we have to hammer the crazy out of her head.

I'm genuinely surprised that Yuuri's soul is available, but holy crap does this work out well. Regarding the next vote, I'm in favor of a plan like "Confirm with Hijiri what happened and if she wants to be extracted, suggest she come along to help, make the case that Airi needs help, ask Saki for her Grief Seed(s) to make another Clear Seed out of Arzt Kochen". I figure there's more to be addressed, but I don't think I could elegantly craft the vote myself- Tendency to use a lot of words to explain things.

Regarding Arzt Kochen/Yuuri, even if Sabrina doesn't present her as an attempt to calm Anri down, Sabrina can at least alleviate Yuuri of her despair. That, and given Anri's wish... There's actually a decent chance she could feel Yuuri's suffering, which naturally never got addressed in canon due to no way to create Clear Seeds. So if Sabrina makes Yuuri into a Clear Seed that could calm Anri down and even if it doesn't Yuuri'll be in less pain.

And if the Pleiades can't trace phone numbers, we can find someone else who can...
 
Are we going to ask to see/hold on to Artz Kochen as a bargaining tool for Anri? It might be the only way to stop this peacefully, but requires a massive Witchbomb to execute.

Also, I kinda want to extract Hijiri from the Saint's hugpile... and instead drag her into our hugpile! They already have a mad scientest to cuddle! I want one too! /jk

but it might be nice to offer a hand to her, as well as a bit of teasing. It must feel all sorts of awkward for her and she probably needs a bit of stability to normalize the situation.

That turned out, uh, amazingly well. I bet that poking Niko before the conversation started put her in an appropriate frame of mind for a line like "I don't care how it happens, I just want you to have the happy life I couldn't have".

Not as a bargaining tool. That will make her unrecoverably angry. No, we hold on to it so that we can dewitch her and instantly and totally solve the Anri problem.

Turning Yuuri into a Clear Seed is a fantastic idea, by the way - that'd guarantee she's not lost or given to Kyubey, it doesn't require telling anyone anything, and I'd be pretty shocked if Clear Seed isn't the first step to "dewitched".

I meant bargaining tool as in something to get her to work with us instead of shouting at us and then running back to her room to listen to her Linkin Park Albums.

I'm not talking about using it as a hostage or for extortion.
 
I do call Dokashenanigans on the Seed being around.

Kazumi said she met Airi months ago.

As to what to do with it, if we go the Airi is crazy' route, we can justify asking for the Seed on grounds Airi has a crazy need to hold onto her bff's killer's body.

Thing is, the Pleiades might then try to do things about it. Without full info. Which leads to mistakes.

Can we, maybe, steal the Seed and replace it with another wuthout anyone being the wiser? Is that feasible?
 
Make a clear seed, then, when we're handing it back, hesitate and say something like "Um. This is going to sound weird. Hang on to that one? I, uh, want to try to talk to that witch at some point."

The issue here is - what is our case, and what do we explain? Whoever finds Yuuri will find out that she believes the Pleiades killed someone. Do we break that early so they're prepared, or as backup for "Don't listen to her, she's delusional and will say anything to break you"?

[] Confront Hijiri about her giving instructions to Airi

I think that we don't want to be this blatant. However, if someone can come up with good wording for it, I think that a subtle little thing to let her know that we know might be in order. Something like "[] You don't think that she'd tell Yuuri where you are or anything like that. Right, Hijiri?". We could probably guilt her hard right now, with what Niko just said. Or would it be better to let her stew for a while?

Do we have any spare seeds available? We could take Art's, clear both, then give the spare back.
