Are we? It's not like we were formal or agreed beforehand on anything. This was meant to be a workday from the beginning.

And think about it:
We started the chapter/day off with a sleepover after which Mami woke up in a room with all her friends.
We went flying together. And Mami loved it.
We repaired a beloved piece of furniture.
We moved on to a group date catching up with an old out-of-towner.
We hunted a witch and saved a bunch of people, defeating it literally hand in hand.
We went on a trip abroad, visiting two cities.
It's arguable we missed an opportunity while out and about: We didn't go shopping while out in Sendai, but then, we did spend that time cuddling instead.
After our return and investigation we went flying again.
While grocery shopping together, we talked about the possibility of reconciling with one friend.
We followed by reconnecting with another who didn't need reconciling at all.

And now we're capping it with dinner out. Not super formal and very spur of the moment, but dinner out even so.

EDIT: What I'm getting at is, this isn't a date that got swamped with work, it's a workday that ended up as %50 date.

At this rate the next update will just be one long eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee and then a switch over to Homura sitting next to Sabrina not sure what to do, before she decides to get Mami to come collect her unresponsive, blushing girlfriend.

It is not only as Comrade Redshirt has shown, that Sabrina has somehow changed clothes without this being noted...

But she had, at the same time, not changed clothes!

She wore a skirt.

She had pants.

She had a skirt again.

All without changing.

Thus I am sure, I am certain, this is a monumental time.

It's what we've been waiting for.

We have found our thing.

Our thing is literally pants.

Sabrina could also just have been wearing skirtpants or both a skirt and pants at the same time, before the retcon.

Onmur used to be a cool shitposter, but then he started making quality posts and even fanart. How the mighty have fallen.

As for the topic of pants: I won't vote for anything that doesn't explicitly include Sabrina wearing pants when it comes to meeting the Asunaro girls.

I fully support this course of action. I'd suggest it as a Mother's Day present, but that's not until almost two weeks after Walpurgis.

Our Mami may be a casual, but our Mom is acausal.
 
Can we commission a fully custom piece for her? Pretty much anything off-the-shelf is going to be built wrong for her use, simultaneously too bulky and not as powerful as it could be, controls too big, not built for someone that has an infinite magazine with flawless ammunition handling. Like, Homura could probably run a handgun chambered for 25x137mm shell, or use a cut-down custom M2 adapted for magazines as a BR.

While getting Homu better guns for meguca use would be nice, remember we need to get her enchanted guns for use against Walpurgisnacht.

That's the real deal, and the real problem. :p

Well, the gun we're talking about is fully custom, though it is also pretty damn bulky, since it's meant to be used by vampires.
Harkonnen-II system has a 4km effective range, 30mm silver-coated depleted uranium rounds, and can be belt or drum fed. Only problem is the gun's something on the order of 130 pounds, but she was already going to need to magically reinforce herself for the recoil to not break every bone in her upper body.

About the only thing scarier I can think of along those lines would be if we somehow managed to make a Flak-88 man portable and belt fed.

You realize in the next update, Homura's gonna notice Sabrina being totally distracted by her clothes. "What are you doing?"

"Homura...was I wearing pants a second ago?"

"...No, you've been wearing that same skirt all day."

"....Huh. I was pretty sure I was wearing pants. I thought I had pants powers."

"...what."

"I was thinking any skirt I put on would turn into pants, and I was thinking of how I could use this ability to save Asunaro, but now I have to rethink my plans."

Homura just....drops Sabrina out of Time Stop.
 
Sabrina's going to be too busy trying not to sqeal when that image of her kissing Mami pops into her head.

By the way, If I recall correctly, the rules would only allow for the one kiss at a climactic moment right, since these are technically 14 year-olds? So Iwe really oughtn't be getting myour hopes up for a more official relationship any time soon?

Using grief for manufacturing means we can prototype fast, which cuts the difficulty dramatically. From there it's basically engineering, like, designing it so it doesn't break once every hundred shots and making sure that it doesn't fail if Homura drops it or gets some sand in the action. That's a more complicated topic, but I think that we can probably copy off existing weapons well enough, and Mami should know quite a bit. And again our Grief comes to the rescue, since we can simulate some really amazing test conditions and do hilarious parallelization things like manufacture fifty prototypes with slight variations and test-fire them all until they fail.
