Homura reacts so strongly to the potentialbomb because it means that no matter what she does, every loop will see Kyuubey put more and more effort into getting Madoka to contract, and the results of it become more and more destructive.

Sure, but given the amount of differences in this timeline:

• We've repeatedly reassured her this is the last timeline.
• Madoka's wish, empowered through Homura's loops, probably created us.
• Madoka's wishes can affect future timelines now holy shit

And also some basic logic:
• Madoka already has more potential then the entire earth and satisfies the quota. It's not like the Incubator will now want her more in loop N+1 as opposed to the last ten where that was also true.

I'm left uncertain that a vanilla Potentialbomb would be anywhere near as damaging as implications suggest - which means there's some outside factor tied into it, in my view.

I think you haven't read the essay I wrote on why this makes no sense. Because I spent four or five hours today trying to get this to make sense and failing, and then I wrote all of it down. It doesn't make sense.

I'm very unsure on what the value of raising events from this world is. Why include this?
The events aren't necessary but raising one odd reality raises the possibility that we know of others (like post-Madokami stuff) if it should come up. I want to hint to her enough so that she can figure out that, yes, she can talk to us about that too. Because we knew all along and we're by her side anyways.

Minor vote edit, since it's been brought up before that time travel mechanics from Homura's Revenge might not constitute benign small talk. I'll let Sabrina herself decide what qualifies.

If we want, we could raise the Fukushima tidal wave as a nuclear disaster that never happened here but did in our other memories.

The rest is because I really don't want to blindly jump in without knowing what lies ahead.

Annnd, seeing as Kaizuki made an alternative and I really want to know too...

[X] Talk to Homura about the strange nature of information you have, spanning centuries and continents, and including timelines that, to your knowledge, couldn't have happened and even weirder things like alternate histories without magic.
-[X]Raise a benign example.
-[X] Mutually discuss what this means for the reliability of your knowledge, with a focus on your ability to help people.

[X] Tell her we believe we were created through Madoka's Wish, to help Homura.
-[X] We wouldn't be here without either of them. Thank you.
--[X] (Jokingly.) ...Would this make them ...our mothers? :V

[X] Ask, if she is willing, if she could briefly hit any high points from the earlier loops. There've been a few more discrepancies in places than you'd expected and, well...

I really feel this is pointless. Homura has already indicated belief in that. And the mothers thing is not... Let's not.

Just work this into the question at the bottom. The reliability of our knowledge is why we're asking about past loops.

Ooookay since apparently Firn's dropped in twice to warn us not to drop the potential bomb right now, Imma throw my weight behind anyone not wanting to do that.

[X] Redshirt Army

Seriously, when a GM who's normally totally happy to watch us do silly things warns us twice not to do something, it's probably best to take it as a kindness on his part.

Okay, I'm now completely convinced something is Different in PMAS. And really, that's obvious to anyone who has been here a long time -- too many hints from Firn, something is different.

There is exactly one thing we absolutely know for certain to be different from canon PMMM: Something Changed Last Loop. From these last few pages we can absolutely conclude that Kyubey DID NOT potentialbomb Homura last loop like he should have if last loop was the canon last loop. Unless Madoka's wish altered Homura's memory, this proves that something changed last loop before Madoka made her wish.

And we don't know what it was.

We have to obtain more information on that. We have to.

-[X] You'd thought that what knowledge you did have of... reality... was accurate, but... Kazusa. And, weirdly, Mami's apartment -- you have three different images of its form, and exactly none of them are right, or even make sense. And apparently the Sakura church is to be demolished, which was not present anywhere in your memories and seems... slightly contradictory? Maybe?
-[X] Of course, there's also the most obvious thing: you. Sabrina.
-[X] So... you know it's a lot to ask, but could she tell you about last loop? In... in detail.

"I feel that you have created me and am thankful for it" is a super important statement to make. The "mom" thing is a joke, even in character, and is clearly marked as such, but if Homura thinks she (helped) make us? Our successes become in part her successes, and her efforts have yielded a positive result, for once. So yeah. I'm not touching that.

Point.

I'll point out that if Homura is an orphan in PMAS, then any sort of familial connection could potentially have a lot more meaning to Homura than might otherwise be assumed.

I think the current wagon is something we should do, but would love to ask for discrepancies about the previous loop.

Things to ask:

- Madoka's Wish wording, explaining it doesn't match our knowledge.
-- Was she witchbombed? Did Sayaka witch out and Koko and Doka try to save her?
- Did KB figure out what Homura's power was last loop?
