Also, uh, if Kerillian makes it off of the Ark, her plan is most definitely not going to Ulthuan. She's not an Asur, she's Asrai, and generally quite proud of it. It's the Asrai who have the best elven smith of all time ever, Daith, not Ulthuan or Naggaroth or even Laurelorn. Plus, it has Vaul's Anvil, the greatest place of Vaul's presence and power upon the world!*

*According to the Asrai
Will she have the draich reforged to fit Asrai aesthetics, if it's even possible?

She hasn't actually decided yet. While far ahead thinking is very typical for elves, regardless of their type, at the moment, Kerillian is exceedingly focused on the now, with a distant sort of 'and after this I'm going home' afterwards. She decided to wander, and her over-indulgence in her curiosities has ravaged her personal relationships amongst the Asrai, but she's definitely had a fair bit more adventure and questions/answers than even she could have expected when she dipped out of the forest this time around. That could have been said on the shores of Salkalten, plainly speaking.

Is there a chance she stays for a bit after coming back to Ostland and when all the craziness ends and we go back to regular turns?

That would depend on a lot of things, like how she's feeling soul-wise and all that. One of her big things was internal balance, which is what her eventual canonical end-point of being a Sister of the Thorn to the whole of the Mandala of the Gods rather than just to Isha is about. She goes to the knife's edge of the Cadai and Cytharai in terms of worship and empowerment. At the same time, the 'Shade' career is an example of an alternate self where she listened ever more to Khaine, and ends up glorifying 'the count' of her kills over any point of redemption or other cause. Just the killing. And the Shade version of her was satisfied enough with that. So I suppose it really does depend, you know? Especially as this Kerillian is rather against the Druchii after being gagged, put in a cage, tortured, and surrounded by other people in cages being tortured. So Khaine whispering to her about her blood-relations existing alive as Shades in Naggaroth isn't liable to be nearly as convincing to her.

Psychology is wiggly.

Seems most likely given recent events, at least, balancing out need for Khaine and such.

But who knows, will be alive for a long time to figure life out assuming they all get out of this alive.
Psychology is wiggly.
Especially for elves.

After we get off this ark, Kerillian should probably favor the Cadai for a while to balance out her usage of the First Draich. Sadrina can probably help with that at least a little. Either that or she becomes the new High Priestess of Khaine for the Asrai.

Is there any Fan Art of Natasha?
If you mean Anna's daughter Natasha, no there is not.

If you mean Freddy's wife Natasha, no not really. She's got white-gold blonde hair, alabaster skin, and QM used fanart of Elsa from Frozen as the faceclaim.

Edit: There was the "Lovely Laurelorn" fanart aleadrex did, that's in the media tab, it includes Natasha in it, but she's not a main focus so... kinda is fanart of Freddy's wife?

"Those dragons are fast!"

"If they're led and trained by Caledor's Bane, they might be some of the best that Naggaroth has to offer," Sadrina says sourly, cursing quietly as she lets off a shot of her own that fails to hit one of the dragons.
I do wonder how much truth was in that. Caledor bane sure rode one of the best dragons they had. The other two? well, his son would have a reason for it while the bitch may have less pull to get quality stuff.

And yes, Natasha could use some art with new eye and armor.

Yeah, using Elsa was the simplest face-claim I could do at the time back then, but I'd say she's rather sufficiently diverged at this point, especially now that we have Total War Warhammer III providing plenty of examples of Ice Witches in appearance and dress. So she still has the longer blond hair, but she's also got the notable streaks of differing texture of aged hair going across the top of her scalp and on the bangs of the left side, plus a near imperceptible white pupil dot in a crimson bestial eye on the left as that of a Frostfiend. And the literal actual iron claws on her left hand, which she often keeps concealed in a black glove. Plus, she wears Ledstahli now, which would take the different shades of blue-black ice plate over her body with the Visage of the Ancient Widow worked into the breastplate casting an intensifying Terror aura on her enemies. Blade in one hand, magic in the other, power stone necklace concealed within the Ledstahli. Like, yeah, originally, the idea was aristocratic classical Russian blonde woman, but Elsa was the simplest at the time with blonde+ice powers, lol.

If you really wanted to go grungy with it, there is the scene where she's so absolutely pissed about the situation and Frederick's imprisonment/torture while sharing some of the pain into herself that she straight up broke a bunch of the teeth on left side of her mouth from grinding them so hard. Blood and chips of bone spilling from her mouth before she formed ice block replacements to numb and close off the bleeding, spilling out of the grille of her helmet. At the moment, I imagine Natasha and Alexandra having helmets with the same sort of facial fronting as, say, Goblin Slayer, whereas Frederick has a more covering one with a slot for the eyes.

wait you're saying that our heroes are actually wearing helmets to protect their heads and not letting their hair free to majestically blow in the wind?? what kind of fantasy heresy is this??? :V

Fun fact, helmet embellishments like feather crests actually have a practical use on the battlefield. They let the troops know who they need to form around even at a glance. Pre-modern communications this was a practical solution to battlefield organisation.

I question more on the miniature castle on the top of the helmet than the feather crest.

Well, yes. The fact that higher ranks meant you needed a bigger and more elaborate crest so bigger and bigger groups could find you at a glance meant that crests became a status symbol. That part isn't practical, but the concept of a helmet crest isn't actually silly in of itself once you understand the point.

she wears Ledstahli now

torroar I have a question regarding Ledstahli if you wouldn't mind. I looked through the thread but couldn't find it. Excluding ongoing politics/intrigue/Civil War how did people react to Alex succeding at forging Ledstahli? What do ice priestesses and ice hags think about it? I think for the former it would depend on whether they are Romanov affiliated or not but I'm not sure about ice hags, I don't think we heard about them since they left Katarin.

edit: I just realized "Ledstahli" seem to be recent while in earlier chapters it's "Ledstali". Huh

She's hanging around, eating Druchii corpses, being irritated, waiting on when the time for hiding is truly over and the warband goes full on out into combat open open. Same as with the Pegasus, though it's having to make do with much less pleasant straw and the like.

A gryphon flying around would be extremely noticeable and potentially trackable, so they've kept her back and down for now.

There will be approximately 0% chance of subtlety in what happens next.

Hey thanks! I was worried about that one a bit.

Mostly I'm just thankful it was towards the end of the update. That kind of issue cropping up during a multi-phase battle would lead to cascading rewriting requirements and issues, which would be a nightmare compared to this.

You are correct, fixing!

A suggestion was made by someone about the Skinks using the Salamanders.

Is this possible?

That's pretty hard core, though obviously hope Jade Wizards can help regrow teeth later, lol.
Hey now, the Empire is big into helmets, you know.
And beards and mustaches, but pretty sure that is dwarf influence, lol.
