Lights... Camera... ACTION!!: A Hollywood Quest

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
Hi Magoose here one of the guys helping Duke.

So we have some bad news.

The quest has been canceled as duke does not want to write it anymore.

I'm going to ask if I can take over for it, because I like this quest, and it would be a shame to kill it
TBF, Mags, you have been doing a lot of the heavylifting for the quest, so this will be in good hands. :)

To be clear to everyone, this is just me burning out on imagination of the quest, since my muse has been hitting me over the head a lot with so many different ideas that I just can't find myself too interested in this.

I'll still hang out here, though, since this still does have a sepcial place in my heart.

I'd like to thank you all for making this a wonderful experience while it lasted.

I'd also like to thank @Magoose, @Fluffy_serpent, and @Martin Noctis for doing so much to help prepare and write this quest. I couldn't have done it without you all. :D

I'll see you all around.

With so many regards, Duke William Of.

Going to be honest, for all that I like seeing AU's, or even sometimes seeing how a hero can become a villain, seeing Disney Princesses turn to the dark side just feels...wrong to me. Like a fundamental law had been broken.

Just hope we never try and do anything like that.
Fair enough, and it's not like I want to do it, I just really like Lydia the Bard's Disney Princess Villain AU Song series and I was reminded of the video. I just wanted to share them with ya'll. I'll put up a couple of my other favorites and ya'll can check them out if you want.

Watchmen was 80s, as was the start of the Dark Age of Comics, even if it's generally thought of as more of a 90s thing.

I'm already doing a Watchmen pitch for @Fanhunter696, which is actually done, I just need to finish up the accompanying omake.

Turn 84 (Febuary 1981)
Turn 84 (Febuary 1981)

Carrie was looking at some of the posters that you had to bring home. "You know, I think we should do something about all these posters?"

"I don't have a man cave, or a room for our awesome posters, also, I really don't care. I like them."

Carrie frowned as she crossed her arms. "You know, why don't you keep them at Lucasfilms?"

"Colombia won't allow me to put film posters that I made there, even in my own office. Least not until after release." You replied. Damn you Alan.

Carrie shrugged. "The Kids can't see this poster. They won't sleep."

The fact that it had Batman going towards a car wreck was… yes it was too much for the kids. Right now at least.

You shrugged. "Not like I have anywhere to put it Carrie, and I won't ask Debbie to hold onto it because it will end up in the museum… or the personal collection."

"My mom does not hoard film posters!" She said.

"Her Poster room says otherwise." You replied, shooting back at her mothers, not obsessive, but almost genuine care for the art of posters…

Yeah… That might not be something you can do. "Well I'll put it in the closet, I don't think their ready to see something.

You looked and saw it was you, as Batman, against the army that you would defeat.
----------------------------------------------

You look at the script and saw you could make some changes, and had time to do it.

Add one element that you think will enhance the film:
[]Bruce's Philanthropy: You want to add some scenes where Bruce is trying to rebuild Gotham into a safer place, with investments and charity.
[]Alfred's Unwavering Resolve: You want to make Alec Guinness earn some hardware, so you are going to have some excellent scenes with him helping Batman.
[] Batman's Kindness: Batman is not a holistic agent of fear, he is a symbol of hope for the regular citizens of Gotham. You want to show that he isn't just vengeance for the criminal to fear. He's a beacon of Hope for Gotham itself.

AN: Enjoy and plan format please.

I think we should show more of Alfred/Guinness with batman, future remakes can do what they like but I feel the humanity with Alfred is more important.

Could also setup a role in the far future of we make batman beyond, with Bruce being the mentor and Alfred as well for Terry.

Also, we are helping Jackson with Thriller.

Making Marvels (In Witch Marvel Studio's tries to Fancast Bruce)
Making Marvels (In Witch Marvel Studio's tries to Fancast Bruce)

(Stan Lee POV)

If someone was to ask Stan Lee, what made him jealous of the competition in both the professional and the private sectors of comics (and comic book movies) he would calmly sit a man down and explain the three pillars of Marvel's President's personal ire.

The First Piller was Colombia, and their incredibly made Batman, Superman and if the rumors were true, a Wonder Woman film in production, of course, its all hearsay at this point but he was somewhat miffed that a grand epic had yet to be crafted to the big screen.

The Second Piller was less a matter of genuine malice or even hatred, no it was a sense of what could have been, reminding you of Strange Tales; he was, of course, talking about the Mangaka industry that seemed to be an infinite wellspring of creativity and talent (though Stan would wish that their working conditions were much better, artists can't live like that). It was a reminder of what was lost and forced underground by the Comic Code Authority.

We had lost and gained so much from that damnable little stamp, that gave the world Spiderman, but we lost a little of our creative passions in the process.

And yet the Third Piller was one that could be, Bruce O'Brian, your fellow co-worker, artistic genius and if you were honest one of the finest actors in the business. And you said that without irony, his work and range showed impeccable talent.

In some cases almost too much talent, he could be a classical Shakespearean one moment and a brooding author in a room in another.

But all things shared a similar root, Stan Lee wanted to make a grander legacy for himself, and the characters he created.

---------------------------------------

In Jack Kirby's Office, an Hour later.

"Jack a moment of your time?" You said looking over his shoulder seeing the lines and colors, he'd just finished the page…end of the fight, your timing was excellent…he needed an hour to think of a proper resolution that fit the writing he had been given, and that required some moment to rest his drawing hand.

He looked up, his trademark cigar in an ashtray. "Five minutes, Stan I have a deadline to keep."

Blunt as always. " Its about Nick Fury…I think I've unlocked the key to what is holding back our adaptation of him?"

"Holding back? Stan the only thing holding back a Nick Fury Film is Eisner's unwillingness to challenge EON's golden boy…especially given that Roger Moore's still on the top of his game." He said.

You shrugged. "True, but there's another thing holding it back, none of the possible actors can wholistically play his multifaceted persona."

"Enlighten me Stan…what is wrong with our bullpen's ideal fan casting?"

Oh he knew you were reading the bulletin board list…Chirs Clermont you vindictive man, now Jack will never let you live it down.

"Well, lets start with Clint Eastwood…he's got the hard nose edge and the experience, and looks like he's been through the muck…problem, he doesn't act like the guy who has steaks with Ben Grimm and Reed Richard's off duty."

"We let Nick have time off?" Jack said in a faux sarcastic manner, and he had a point, when was the bullpen give Nick Fury a day off on page?

"Laugh it up Jack…second, Harrison Ford?" You said somewhat surprised.

"You should see the storyboards for Raiders…it inspired them." He said, oh, he did a commission for Steve, even when he made more money in comics; he must have needed the break from the bullpen.

"Finally…we have, Kurt Russel." You said. "I just can't see it. The man's got infinite potential, but he's just…I cannot see him playing the demands of Nick Fury."

Jack half smiled. "Right…I can see parts of a picture with him, yet cannot see the picture in full."

"But there is one with a clear Picture isn't there?" You said almost impressed.

"Bruce O'Brian…Your finally seeing my way arn't you?" He said.

It was an obvious choice in hindsight, A New York Raised Irish American loving son of an American soldier from Hell's Kitchen, who works incredibly hard and is diligent in all manners of his work, dedicated to his friends, harsh to his enemies and more.

"He has the face and made the choices of a man who'd fight the world so others can wake up in the Land of the Free," Jack said poetically. "He's got layers and we don't even need him to pretend, very much."

You nodded. "I'll ask him to model for us, the guys could use the fresh perspective on the man who's an American icon."

"Oh yeah, we've already made several outfits already so the Animators can use actual models to make realistic fight scenes." Jack said.

Oh…OH….

Well, this is going to be…great, "Sunrise made the order for it?"

"We've already got Shinji Todo to help as the Spiderman model with a new Costume." He said. "Toei insisted."

"You went to Toei behind Mike's Back?"You said flabbergasted.

"I did for the Mangaka and fellow Comic Artists Stan…and despite your apprehensions that I didn't tell you…we need the inroads after that spat with Toho, not only that, we need more the Gundam to make bridges with them." He said.

"Hmm, warn me next time…" You said.

"Only when you make me lose time doing my work, and no edits this time…"He said.

"You've got Noir to work with…and I have my own as well." You said.

----------------------------------

(Bruce POV)

Hmm, Model Work to improve Comic Art,

You then looked at the clock, "Ehh I've got a few extra hours before Carrie needs me to pick up the kids from daycare."

You had no idea what you were indulging in today.

AN: Fancast BRUCE YOU COWARDS! Also a look in how Bruce is possibly making waves as a "Comic-Book Fantasy Casting" now that he's famous.

Ehem, An Omake for the Marvel Fans.

And yes...I'm making this happen during one of Bruces slower days.

[]Bruce's Philanthropy: You want to add some scenes where Bruce is trying to rebuild Gotham into a safer place, with investments and charity.

Any firm opinion on this? I'm for any of the three as it all fits Batman. Bruce's philantrophy can show that Bruce Wayne isn't just Batman and also answer criticisms of "Why isn't Bruce spending his money in chairty". Alfred is one of the core of the Bat family so having him and Bruce share an emotional connection like in the Dark Knight trilogy and animated series is good. And Kindness can be used to show that Batman should be a symbol of hope instead of just fear like The Batman brilliantly did.

Also it looks like the action for us taking part in one of our other directors films has passed. Mixed stuff, but overall it can be a positive as this makes Bruce flexible to help with Brandon and also do Killer Queen for Debbie.

Magoose what is Bruce's current liquid assets right now?
Personally Alfred is the link. It's true that Bruce can give to charity, and Batman is certainly more than just vengeance, but I think the connection between Batman and Alfred is just what the movie is lacking; showing how important Alfred truly is in Batman keeping his darkness contained, how human he truly is as he needs the support of those around him, and how he nearly breaks when Alfred is put in a coma for a while.

Also, I think we should take this time to contact David Lynch with the "New Blood" option. Let's ask him to direct the "Amnesia" film and see if he's interested.

[X] Plan Lights....Camera....Music!
-[X]Alfred's Unwavering Resolve: You want to make Alec Guinness earn some hardware, so you are going to have some excellent scenes with him helping Batman.
-[X]Small Giant: Brian's second film of the Year, and the one he has pinned his hopes will be a success. DC: 20
-[X]The Howard Estates New Story: Robert Jordan has written another Script for you, though he secretly hopes that it won't pass muster. You want to see it. DC: ???
-[X]Stan the Man's Animated Ideas: You look at Stans… MCAU… And you scratch your chin. "Alright Stan… How long did you and the writers room think of this? Cause this is more insane than what Alan did with me?" DC: 20
-[X]The New Blood: So... Who wants to work for Lucasfilms? DC:???
--[X]Director
--[X]Producer
-[X]Investing in the Future: You want to Spend some of that money you made into the company and make the whole thing better DC: ??? (Linetail what you want to invest in, and how much money you want to invest in it)
--[X] The Lucasfilms Child Actors' Protection Investment: It is clear that, while Hollywood has started to change its tune to that of Lucasfilms, there are still practices afoot that is still practiced. This cannot go on! Introducing an investment plan that would be targeted towards Psychological aid and tutors are given to child actors and to protect them from abuse, whether that be at home or from work. If parents, their agents, and even the producers/directors cannot provide them the stability, the rock they need as they're growing, we can at least put in the effort with great drive to make sure that child actors are receiving the help they need. $200 million of warchest.
-[X]Michael Jackson and… The Development of THriller: So Mike came into your home one day, and told you this. "I need help, I have music in my head, and I need help making it. Before I lose it!" DC: 35
-[X]Queen is back in Town: So Freddie and the Gang are back in LA, and they are… Oh god. "Freddie, not that I don't appreciate this, but my kids are in the next room." DC: 30
-[X]The Music Videos: So… You, in your infinite wisdom, used your own home for Queens music video… Sweet Jesus why! DC: 40
-[X]The Highwaymen of Carrie Fisher: Carrie wanted you to get her Highwaymen together and rack out… Why now? Wait, Mary wants to play too? Oh no. DC: 35 (You are too tired for this)
-[X]Workout: A Healthy Mind and a Healthy Body are Key to having a good life, and you have been slacking as of late. Time to hit the workout and discipline, and perhaps, see things differently. DC: 30 Reward: You work out and feel better
--[X] Practice the fundamentals of boxing so you can be in excellent shape for your boxing scene against Rocky next month.
-[X] Call your parents: You need to call mom and dad, and see how they are doing. DC: 10 (You call your parents and see what they are doing)
-[X] Happy Birthday Twins!: It's Joseph and Sarah's first birthday and you want to celebrate it. Nothing to extravagant, just a nice family day to be together and make some happy memories.

So I agree with Overmind and Restalaan's take that Alfred is the key so I'll choose that. Also we take Small Giant for distribution and help Brian De Palma see some redemption.

See the new Howard story and check in on the MCAU. Hire a new director and producer. I agree with Otto's plan last chapter of investing in a child actor's protection program. Help save some future stars and set a clear example for Hollywood that kids shouldn't have their lives ruined for movies.

Check in with Michael and Queen and make some music with them. Workout and do some prep for Rocky.

Call parents again, just for some nice fluff. Also since I was running out of actions and I didn't feel it would be right to do anything too ambitious considering Bruce is gonna be swamped with music, just have a nice fluff piece of celebrating Joseph and Sarah's first birthday considering they haven't been in the spotlight like Mary.
