Production had Wrapped on the movie and now you were just feeling a bit tired. Even your father, who was used to a former life, was pretty much done with the filming, as he was just happy to sit down on the couch and look at the sunset. "You know, I never expected to be sitting in a Hollywood mansion, and with my feet up, I would have told you I was dreaming, and go back to the bar to throw you out."
You smiled and just gave him a side hug. "Thanks, Dad, I'm just happy that we're able to just get one dream done."
"Oh my dream is over, I'm just helping out my son and his wife with some project that I know will be great."
You just sat there and you both realized that Carrie wasn't there. "Where's Carrie?" He asked.
"With her mom, Todd has something cool to show her and thinks it's great." You replied. "Don't know what it is so don't ask."
"Well don't be doing anything stupid." He said. "I just don't want to grow bitter."
"Of what?" You asked.
"You have my dream…" He then laughed. "Maybe I just needed to change my mindset like you did."
You sighed. "No, you didn't need to do anything Dad. You just needed to be you. And that is all I want."
He gave you a hug. "Thanks kid."

Carrie was back home and you could tell something was going on in her head. "What's wrong Carebear?" You asked as she snuggled up next to you.
Carrie sighed. "Well I want to tell you something, and it's going to be a little bit of a surprise… but I couldn't really wait to talk to you about it, because it was an offer that I really wanted to do?"
That made you worried. "What's wrong?"
"Nothing wrong, it's just I'm… stopping acting for a few months."
That caused you to freeze, lose all color, and begin to wonder what you did wrong. "Not it's not like that Bruce. I'm going to focus on my music career. I have a few albums worth of songs that I wanna work on, and Michael inspired me to get out of my comfort zone."
That made you take a deep breath. "I… wasn't expecting that."
"What were you expecting, to keep pumping out screenplays? Win some Oscars? Betray you and George by going to Universal?"
There was a pause before you both laughed. "Yeah right!" you both said with a smile and a laugh. "You know Sidney Schineburg gave me a phone call. Offered me a one-picture contract. I said I would think about it. Haven't returned his call since."
She just took a breath again, before she placed her head on your chin. "I just want to try something."
"Then I will do everything you desire." You stated.
"Thanks, Bruce." She kissed your cheek. "I love you."
"I know." You kissed her back.
