On Thread Etiquette:

I'm not going to weigh in on the logic of either side's arguments, but I will ask that everyone read over what they write and really consider if the words they used are polite and won't be inflammatory intentionally or not. You cant account for people's tolerances perfectly but at least try to say your piece without saying things that can be easily construed as overly dismissive of the other side of the argument, thank you.

Please endeavour to be cordial. :^)

[x] [Elgi]: A figure in flowing robes that smells of vellum and ink.

Scholar seems like the one least likely to offer a commission we'll never have time for.

AOE purification seems most useful, but I am really curious what the engineering version would do to the machine it's on - it's a hint for what a non-Master version of the rune might do if included on a Gronti.

each Understand a Master Rune action is likely to be understanding a Rune conceptually? Like, it would appear that we're figuring out, Ok, so line 34 controls degree of heat in the third stage, and I have X amount of wiggle room to play with that, sort of thing. The function of the Rune. But if we want to understand things like, what does the Rune consider impure? Where are the impurities going? - will we need all five parts? Will more be revealed along the way? Or will we get the conceptual understanding first time?
Yes, you will eventually. I didn't show that sort of conceptual stuff here mostly because this is the first time you're doing it so I need to set up some stuff for you guys to know and also because you only put in 1 action so it made it narratively appropriate to not reveal as much. :^)

Another dope belt achieved and we just invented magical frag grenades. Nice.
A hundred and fourteen individuals now serve as your guardians, ambassadors and agents to act as you saw fit.
Even with the Brana counting twice, shouldn't this be 116? 112 dwarves, and then the four Brana get counted twice (8) to make it 120. Or did I miss something?

Whee, bandwagons!
[X][Elgi]: A figure in a fine dress that smells of high summer.
Choosing this one for the 1% chance Snorri falls in love and winds up courting an elf.

Age: Group Formed c. 193 A.P., 80 Years Old by Dwarf reckoning
80 should be 79. 272-193=79.

x2 Branakroki, each counts as 2. Characters of Note:
- Nightfeather/He who is One with Darkness
- Amberclaw/She who's Talons Hold Amber[Ghur User]
- Rimesong/She who Sings Snow into Creation [Azyr User]
- Emberplume/He who has Burning Wings
I think I see where you made the mistake @Fayhem pointed out, you didn't update this. It should be x4 Branakroki.

Also, shouldn't the Equipment of Note section in the Retainer accordion note the Troll Acid Bombs? Or where should it be on the sheet? And on another note Ladra should be under Kraka Drakk not Kraka Ravnsvake in the Standing tracker. She's certainly a member of Clan Ironarm now, like how Orra is a member of Clan Stonehammer.

Age: Born c. -16 B.P., 298 Years Old by Dwarf reckoning
Snerra's age should be 288

Age: Born c. 103 A.P., 170 Years Old by Dwarf reckoning
Karstah is 169 years old.

Age: Born c. 100 A.P., 173 Years Old by Dwarf reckoning
Nain should be 172 years old

Oh no.

Name: Bara Kormasdottir
Titles: Steelplate, Metalminded (By Clan Steelplate)
Age: 838 Years Old by Dwarf Reckoning (as of the end of Turn 35)
Moderate, Woman, 689 Yrs. Old
The second one is Bara's age back in 122 A.P. and the first one is her age in 272 A.P. Going by the first date that you provided.

Wait.
Spoiler: (OUTDATED) SUMMARY TABLE: As of end of Turn 21
These ages are the same as the ones provided during the Conclave, which was in 113 A.P, despite it saying they are the ages as in 122.

[screams internally]

I'll, get the proper ages some time this weekend. Just, not now. Not now.

Edit: Which years were they born in? Because the Conclave might list them that age as of the month of the Conclave. [even more screaming]

Edit 2: Fuck it. I'm drawing up a timeline for this Quest.

An important point of note, when it comes to the Elgi.
Caledor Dragontamer, aka Caledor the cool, the awesome, the broest, and the greatest Elf to have ever elfed (Aenarion has lost the right to the title due to his numb-skulled decision to fall hook line and sinker for the most obvious chaos plot there ever was) was within the living memory for most of the denizens of the Ulthuan.
Adding to that, Both Nagarythe and Tiranoc are whole and great, and renowned for their martial might.
Thus, two things: While the Aqshy Elgi most probably is Caledori (or whatever the kingdom was called before they renamed it in honor of Cal the Bro, he almost certainly is not a dragon prince nor dragon rider, for the simple reason that, at this time, either of those should be still uncommon enough for one to just be stationed at an embassy, and two, it would not be unreasonable to expect him to be reasonably tolerable (for an elgi) since most of the reasons Caledori usually have for their overbearing superiority complex are still too new and thus rare (dragon riders, Legacy of Cal) or is not something they can boast of quite yet (military renown).

Oh, yeah and:

The former because it seems like it would have the most interesting uses, and the latter because I'm shipping trash.

Not sure what to do about runes so I'll let the rest of you figure that out. But the Realm of the Everqueen sounds interesting in this era.

Ages are for the year the turn ends. I go by decade, for ease of math. Just retroactively take it as that.

Dont break your brain over this.
Is there an action we can take to break up a Master Rune into regular Runes? Or to otherwise simplify a rune from Master Rune to regular Rune?
As I've said, turning a Master Rune and breaking it down into a Regular Rune requires an absolute understanding of its intricacies.
