My apologies if this has been covered already, but I feel the need to comment:
Some of these timestamps are awful suspect.
I find it hard to believe that writing that sentence in proper CamelCase only took two seconds. It's not totally impossible or anything, it just needs a pretty high WPM.
There is no possible way that these sentences took three seconds and one second, respectively, to write. Assuming of course that you're a human and not, say, the anthropomorphic personification of a discussion forum..
I mean, if nothing else, we spent a full 13 seconds on "cabbits are for punting".
I feel like there should be a longer pause between these two lines, for effect if nothing else.
Again, should take more than 2 seconds to type that.

... and the fact we got enough Grief for half a clone (so, should be enough for a Chibi), made me change to answering Mami and asking her what she'd prefer.
We could stay, we could go, we could do both thanks to Ribbon connection and primed Grief ready to be turned into a Chibi.

I was voting for going with Mami, but the fact I'm not certain whether Mami would prefer some time to prepare her surprise,

My one idea about it is that, after we science our max travel speed, we go and find cities the Iowa groups has passed through, and try to help and get info from their victims.

It's quite possible that a single enormous quantity of of grief from a Madoka contract today is worth more to the incubators than a perpetual grief income from the Earth's normal magical girl output. Just depends on how they actually use it, and whether they can invest it in some fashion. (Which is likely. The universe is a large ship, and if you want to change its course, the sooner you turn the rudder, the better off you are.)

**shrug** Time investment? I've accidentally'd my scheduling in that regard in real life in the past, and I wasn't juggling WorldConquest Salvation: The Quest, so, **shrug**. We really need some kind of mobile internet so we can do our Google and our IRC while traveling, because I swear, most of our 'free' time is spent in transit or on telepathy-talk, both of which are things that we could probably multitask during. There are I think several things we could prolly get some of the background information collection done on in our spare minutes that way.
