I find this approach rather dubious. Emergency situations aren't going to wait until it's convenient for our schedule. And we're not even sure what day Riona will arrive, so you're proposing not acting for multiple days out of concern that she might show up. And once she arrives, we have no idea what new crises she will precipitate and how long they'll take to resolve. "Friday" will quickly become "next week" and then "never."
I'd rather get Tsubaki's gem clean first, so that we know she's going to be alive for the next few days while we deal with Riona. It's not like it's an all-day endeavor. We can travel extremely fast and can do a fly-by cleansing if need be.
And she can join the conversation with Tsubaki.

I doubt Tsubaki is in super immediate danger, and there's a reason for that: Firstly, It looks like Suzune hasn't contracted as of Nadia's last visit, and the impression I get is that they were together for some time. Not years, but likely months. Plus, from the look of things it seems Tsubaki only witched while she was grieving for an old, close relative on top of sharing her seeds with Suzune.
If Nadia has already met Tsubaki on this round of her travel's through Japan, then we can be pretty sure we have time. Might be worth asking Firn about that.

Related, of all the PMSM girls, Suzune, the Hinata sisters, and Kanade Haruka are the ones most at risk as they all seem to contract young-ish, with Chisato being a bit more ambiguous as far as the date of contract goes. Assuming Tsubaki is saved. Kanade is the next most important to intercept, as her wish, made while she thought she was dreaming due to not believing in magic, erased her sister from existence.
I kinnnnda want to prevent that.
I really don't think a fly-by cleansing is likely to be on the table. Any meetup in person with someone we haven't met in person will likely involve a longer talk. I'm willing to drop a lot for that if it's truly urgent, but it is a time constant, and it will break plans.

Demonstrable false: Both Kagari and Matsuri are years younger in than flashbacks to Tsubaki and when they contracted they are in the main plot of PMSM.
The only way it could be the case that that PMSM happens around now is if Tsubaki witching out just never happened either due to never meeting Suzune, or just not doing so and Suzune leaving Tsubaki's care before Nadia ever met her.

The thing is, I don't think there's any real drawback to establishing contact with Tsubaki right now. It's not as if telepathying her locks us into visiting tomorrow or something. If we tell her that we have a busy schedule for the next few days but saw no reason to not establish contact in advance, I'm sure she'll understand.
As the others have said, it is entirely plausible that Suzune Magica takes place at a later date than PMMM. Timelines keep going after Homura loops back: she hops to different timelines, she doesn't just reset the same one. And in the early timelines, Madoka's witch wasn't powerful enough to wipe out humanity, so in those timelines humanity would simply have kept going. And thus, it is entirely plausible that Suzune Magica took place in 2020 or something.
Hmm, one thing, though... Have we seen this Tsubaki Mikoto referred to as an 'adult' in PMAS? Has Nadia called her an adult? If she's an adult,then we have less time. She was only in her twenties when she Witched, after all. Which would make Suzune Magica taking place many years in the future rather less likely. If she's not an adult, then we have a ton of time. Maybe we should ask Nadia how old Tsubaki is?

That's the point. In-quest, Sabrina has already establisheed as a powerful and reliable magical girl before raising the wish issues with Homura so it wouldnt be much problem on that front.

... I keep changing my mind about the diary thing. Question: How would it affect others' (Homura's, Sayaka's, Mami's) perception of the verifiability of the whole "Oriko's unknown history" thing we brought out during the timestop talk, if we went and told Kirika to retrieve it in this manner? That is, how would it hurt our social and reliability for this round? How much was our discussion actually resting on that? Because this feels a little like the "ask Kirika to go check up on meguca IRCs" thing that we were gently stopped from walking into. When do we next plan to stop by, that we can ourselves potentially retrieve the diary?
For that matter- where's this diary located exactly? How much are we worried about Oriko finding it if we don't say anything; how much are we worried about Kirika finding it if we don't say anything?

I suspect that Tsubaki can make the grocery run to visit us, therefore making a better schedule fit. For openers, really all we need to do is pull off our regular show. Clear her a seed, and maybe there will be no emergencies for a while. We now have references, so she will have the ability to make a fair decision to investigate our claims.
Our enchantment practice is lacking in rigor. The softened rock should be manipulated further. Transforming Grief is still not using 'orthodox magic.' We should develop all our alternatives, if we want to be able to use loopholes.
Willpower is the key, IMHO. Direct our will at the pre-enchanted rock, and have a strong focused imagination. It might be 'controlled,' allowing re-shaping and such, or it might be free-form 'transformation.' Try for both.
