Trust me, from bitter personal experience... if a person is frustrating and bad with one neurotic complex, they will be an order of magnitude more frustrating and bad with two. Neurotic complexes don't just coexist peacefully, they heterodyne. They build off each other. It's like dealing with someone who has two devils on their shoulders, egging each other on.
Yeah but what if you put the source of their neurotic complex in their heads?

[X] Defeat him quickly, utterly and as painlessly as possible, locking down his power. Make him unable to continue fighting.
-[X] Then talk to him see if you make him stand down.
--[X] If he refuses, try and seal him within yourself. You'll be his prison, warden and guard.

Does anyone think that the nature 100 will power check that stopped us from going into a frenzy and killing the Dragon was unlucky?

Well if we're using them as a power source, then if they all raise their Ki by a non-negligible amount...
Considering that all the Garnhulders we trained raised their power level up to over 40k in less than a year....

On a lighter note, we are now easily the most famous person on Garenhuld, which will have interesting effects. One of those is that we just told every Garenhulder that we just used this ancient tradition to literally defeat the Unknown... and we happen to be making a podcast on how you too can use this stuff! It's going to be the most popular show of all time.
We might get a reputation like "Hero of Garenhuld" given that both humans and saiyans know about this.

[X] Defeat him quickly and utterly, locking down his power. Make him unable to continue fighting while harming him as little as possible.

[X] Defeat him, then show him how All Is One

While I can sympathise a bit, I think killing the Dragon in a berserk rage would still have had a major impact on Kakara. At least this way if the sealing doesn't work out, we can at least comfort ourselves that it was the only option we had to save literal worlds of people, and that we made every reasonable effort not to have to kill it.

I don't think beating him painlessly is conductive to get him to surrender. He needs to be humbled before he considers it and in a position it can fight back even if our power up runs out. Otherwise he will likely just pretend to repent and wait for an opportunity...

Actually, that is a good point. How will we know if he is sincere if he surrenders/repents?

He'll let the sorcerers seal him before we power down is how.

Yeah, but it also doesn't mention us powering down. If it won we'd try to convince him and, if successful, then have the sorcerers seal him.
I don't think it works like that? If the plan is to talk him down into being sealed, it should say something on that vein. Otherwise it would probably be taken as talked down and let him to roam free. It is one thing to convince him to surrender, it is another to convince him to be sealed.

Yeah but what if you put the source of their neurotic complex in their heads?
You make things much worse?

I mean, can we not just randomly fumble around doing things with totally unpredictable and unknowable effects here?

It'd probably do something similar to what would have happened if we killed it.
I'm not sure that's how it works. Killing a thing and leaving it 'alive' but dissolved into the planet's ki sound like they're likely to be different enough for the difference to matter.

Never meme vote guys. Remember PoptartProdigy's QM alignment.
Remind me again what 'meme vote' means?

I guess I'm going to put my trust in @The Fourth Monado . Is this a good idea? I've heard they have extra info from RP or something, but I'm not really up-to-date if they've used that to guide Kakara safely or more for their own amusement in the past.

Nervous if you can't tell.

Also, that update was wow. All my wow. Great job Poptart!

I am extremely doubtful that an open-ended call for a surrender would lock us out of sealing him.

Look, the vote makes no mention of sealing the dragon. From your comment, you seem to think that sealing it afterwards is implied. However, there are 18 people voting for it and unless they all voted at the same time after reaching a concensus, then they voted for it based on what is written. Even if you tell Poptart afterwards that the intention of the vote was to seal the dragon afterwards, they would need confirmation of said intention from all that voted for it, otherwise they have to take the vote for what is written. Given that at first sight there is no mention of sealing in said vote, it makes it llikely that those who vote for it afterwards vote because there is no sealing involved. Since then the QM can't be sure of the intention behind the vote, they would have to take it as written, in which case it takes Dazarel by his word and doesn't seal him afterwards.

Hm. I wonder if that crit on the Willpower check for Spirit Bomb would serve as to elicit an evolution of the Level-Headed trait?

The vote says we get his surrender, it doesn't say what we do then. Do we seal him? Release him? Imprison him some other way? There's nothing stated or even implied - it's entirely open-ended, and frankly Poptart can't continue past that point without putting it to another vote, unless everyone else (the sorcerers and Royals) find the answer really obvious.

By the way, I know that this is completely unrelated to the subject at hand, but I was checking the last few updates and something jumped out to me:

Yammar grunts in acknowledgement, light playing over his hands as he seals some of his worse injuries.
Does this mean that Gold Man Genocide knows Ki healing or is he cauterising? Because Yammar being the one guy we know that knows ki healing amuses me. He is the only one we actually saw using the skill.
