Man you guys are fixated on that hug thing:).
It's just a one sided crush of a teenager at the moment do we have to cultivate it right this moment? We have a battle to settle I think we can think if we really want to romance the 12 years old later.
*blinks* As the one who created that write-in, I wasn't thinking romance. I was thinking "reassure our friend" and "potential last goodbye". With a bit of "we just went through an amazing rollercoaster, hugs are an appropriate response."

Why must everything been seen through the lens of "romance"? Are friends not allowed to hug?

If it makes you feel better, you could ask her to watch her body again.

Personally, I think the write-in doesn't pass the contribution-specification test, but as long as you're socializing...

[X] Feel the grass.
-[X] Have a Multiform in Golden Oozaru form distract the Dragon.
-[X] Ask Maya to warn the sorcerors of things we've learned.
--[X] To warn them the dragon is "psychic," can read minds, and uses telekinesis to slow enemies.
--[X] To ask them to make it so the dragon can't sense us charging our attack.
--[X] Hug Maya.
It seems improbable that the dragon has a transformation available to it at the moment (unless it resets health, which I don't think Poptart would do), because of how injured Dazarel appears to be. They were real threats.
It also seems unlikely that we will be able to match the power output of Apra (who is probably more skilled then us at Kikoho, and used Tabe's trick), which was implied to be enough to hurt and piss off the dragon, but something substantial inferior isn't going to cut it. It would probably take SSJ2 and a willpower push to kill the dragon w/out spirit bomb, and that is a horrible idea.

We really can use the Spirit Bomb and still fight at full power, but if there aren't some votes for it the absence will likely be interpreted as condemnation.

Not when they have a crush on the hugger, that's just cruel and reek of playing with her feelings. Katara may not consciously know of the crush, but we do, and as mostly adults we should not do something so potentially cruel without deciding beforehand if we want katara to pursue her romantically or not. Now I may be exaggerating a bit since it's a small thing, but it's not the first time not the last time it happened and actions tend to sum with one another.

Yeah, thinking about it, Lailoken is probably right in that MF won't interfere with genki dama. Specially considering that it didn't seem to cause issues before:
You blink, pulling yourself up off the couch and away from Endivan and Fasha as you feel One's ki signature flickering back into her body. It feels...

You huff. Two, do you feel that?

Yeah, I do, Three. Can you get away from our siblings and check on her? I'm elbow-deep in note-taking with Miss Fren.

You wrinkle your nose. Lucky. Yeah, I'll throw something together. Three out.

You look down at your little siblings. "Hey, wanna play hide-and-seek?"

Fasha pops up, grinning. "Yeah!" She turns and starts to immediately run away before checking herself. "But, uh, no sensing!" Another few steps, then pause. "Or flying, that's no fair!" Once more. "And don't do that vippy thing you do!" She makes it out the door. A moment later, her head pokes back in. "Come on, E!"

Your littlest brother, still panting on the couch, hops up and sprints after Fasha.

You watch them go and wait until they're a good distance away. Mato looks up at you with a wry expression. "You're gonna do that stuff anyway."

You snort. "I mean, yeah, but not while looking for them. I just needed a minute to go check on something."

He nods. "Okay. Makes sense." He goes back to his notes. "Bye, Kakara. Love you."

"Love you too, doofus," you say, putting your fingers to your forehead.

vip

You reappear next to One. She's flat on her back, staring up at the sky with blank eyes and a massive, blissed-out grin.

...you stare at her for a second.

...Two, did we find out what drugs do at some point, and I just forgot?

...um. No? School has a unit in a couple of months on it?

Yeah, thought so.

...wwhhhyyyyyy?

I'm trying to figure out if One had some at some point. She looks like that drunk guy we saw that one time did.

...what did Grandpa do?

I have no idea. I'm gonna wake her up
.

You step forward and poke her. "One. Hey, One. Wake up. I'm not re-merging you when you're like this, I don't want it to spread. Come on, One."

She giggles quietly.

"Oooooookaaaaaaaay. Grandpa, what did you do?" You put your hands on your hips, staring down at her. "...hm. What would get me up...?"

You snap your fingers as inspiration strikes. "Of course." Hey, One, Lady Dandeer found you and says she can cast a spell that'll get you waking up-

"IMAWAKEGETAWAYGETAWAY!"

One snaps out of it in a second and flashes to her feet, arms swinging wildly. After a moment of hyperventilation, she blinks. "...wha?"

You snicker. "Y- your- your face-!" You double over laughing. In the distance, you can hear Two giggling as well.

One flushes red. "Oh, very funny!"

You gradually reign yourself back in. "So, um...what exactly happened?"

"Grandpa knows the Spirit Bomb," she replies, brushing off her gi. "He gave me some advice. I need to think about it. We'll talk later."

And off she walks.

"All Is One," added to potential Elite Ki Sense talents. Hefty bonus to Spirit Bomb research gained. Slight progress made towards Elite Ki Sense.

So I am on board with using multiform. I am not on board with the wording of the relevant vote though:

[X] Feel the grass.
-[X] Ask Maya to tell the Sorcerers what you know.
--[X] Hug her.
-[X] Have a Multiform in Golden Oozaru form distract the Enemy.

I was all like: THE ENEMY IS HERE? FUUUUU-

That said, I still don't know what you want Maya to tell the sorcerers.

[X] Feel the grass.
-[X] Have a Multiform in Golden Oozaru form distract the Dragon.
-[X] Ask the sorcerers if they can make it so the dragon can't sense us charging our attack.

The sorcerers bit means that we might still retain part of the element of surprise (which we have seen works since Grandma hurt the drgon with a ki attack while it was distracted talking us down) and the clone means that the dragon won't be suspiscious from our PL disappearing since it will be fighting us at the time.

On another note, talking PL now. Dragon is at 0.9 billion. GO is normally at 1.5 and FPSS at 1.125. Now, if we used super saiyan boost for both our oozaru and saiyan forms when using MF this way, it would split between them, leaving GO at 1.125 and SS Kakara at 0.750. So the GO could in theory still distract the dragon if our SS self needs the boost though our SS self would still be relatively squishy since Dazarel has been hurting Yammar who has theoretical toughness of 2.25.

Speaking of which, does anyone else find it amusing that we chose not to transform back because we preferred the speed advantage to the extra toughness and immediately afterwards chose to use a technique that requires us to remain stationary? At least our clone would serve as distraction.

[X] Feel the grass.

Maybe we should tell the other SSJs that we think we've got an I WIN button, and they just need to not die for like a minute? Fighting to distract/stay alive is different to desperately trying to finish off your foe before you die - I'd hate to charge up a Spirit Bomb successfully and have, say, Dad die because he thought we were on the verge of defeat so he went all out with the Kaio-Ken.

Also, yeah, I agree with Bommelon on the whole Multiform thing. It might be helpful, but the risks of it throwing us off our Spirit Bomb Groove outweigh the potential benefits of it being a distraction.

Also, I wonder if Nappa's thinking about whether or not he can sign on the Dragons ghost for a Kaiju flick if it dies. He's a producer after all :V
You've been reading the Attestation of Rakkyo again, haven't you? :p

That was the original plan for her style choice. Base Kakara can handle the spirit bomb, and ape Kakara should suffer no malus in the meantime.
The big problem I have with the Golden Oozaru Distraction plan is that it takes our pool of super-saiyan power with it, and if Big Yellow Ragemonkey Kakara gets killed buying time for the other royals to recover, we're stuck at a power level of 375 million for the rest of the fight.

Argh. Tangible responsibility and accountability.
Ah-HA! We found your secret weakness!

True. However, if there's a kernel of truth in what the Dragon's been saying, they're also very busy running around trying to prop up champions of peace. So there's likley another element going on here.
Well, that's part of their likely job descriptions; the gods aren't supposed to spend ALL their time in the afterlife chillaxing. There's an expectation that they will carry out tasks relevant to their portfolio. For instance, the 'directional Kais' monitor the welfare of their respective galaxies and take steps when those galaxies are threatened, as King Kai did in regards to Frieza. The Goddess of Time runs a Time Patrol, The God of Destruction goes around blowing shit up, and so on.

The last time a Gokun lord shacked up with a human went so well...
That was because he was an evil psychobastard who shacked up with an evil psychobastard.

Kakara is not, and Maya is about the last person I'd expect to suddenly turn evil. If only because I think she's fundamentally incapable of getting through a villain monologue without years of speech therapy first.

I'm fairly sure we can't form the spirit bomb while SSJ, so not a great loss?

I would like to note an EXTREMELY IMPORTANT typo in the prevailing write-in subvote variants of "Feel the Grass." Namely, that as Bakkasama points out... The prevailing "Golden Oozaru" subvote does not discuss distracting the dragon, but rather the Enemy. :p

Pursuant to our goals, I am drafting a plan that has us spin off our Golden Oozaru form to distract the dragon, AND asks Maya to communicate with the sorcerors, specifies what we want them told so that we don't have to explain information to Maya that she super doesn't understand.

There are two versions of the plan. One is pro-hug...

--[X] Hug Maya.

...or, if you are anti-hug, which is okay, the last time we voted 'hug' it was a mistake...

-[X] Ask Maya to warn the sorcerors
--[X] To warn them the dragon is "psychic," can read minds, and uses telekinesis to slow enemies.
--[X] To ask them

I am voting for BOTH hugful and hugless variants of this plan, because I want it to stand or fall on its own merits and not on the outcome of the shipping wars.

I'm fairly sure we can't form the spirit bomb while SSJ, so not a great loss?
Oooh, good point, though I'm not sure what the rules are on that actually.

The fuck is that even?
My joking explanation for all the DBZA references that crop up in this thread.

Rakkyo was an Exile of the third or so generation post-Earth, who was one of last Exiles to get much information from any of the people who personally remembered Earth and the Z fighters. He was also something of a humorist and a noted liar when it suited him to be so.

Many years later, well after every Exile who personally remembered Earth, and many of the first generation born on Garenhuld, were dead, Rakkyo compiled his own magnum opus recounting "the deeds of our ancestors," which was rather different in some significant respects than the prevailing oral and written histories at the time.

And that's the story of why (for example) Mitsuba Roma thinks that the legendary Mister Piccolo tried to use a deadly last last-ditch attack called the "Nail Gun" against Imperfect Cell in the Battle of the Islands, and duly proceeded to reinvent this attack, despite the fact that in-setting it never existed in the first place. Namely, Mitsuba grants too much credence to the Attestation of Rakkyo.

"But I don't get it!" you say, frustration boiling over. "'Feel the grass, Kakara!' 'Feel the trees, Kakara!' What difference does it make what they feel like when my ki is always right here?!" You slap yourself on the chest before wincing. "Ow."
Just reading through the update again, it's funny how we got it almost immediately but Kakara's still struggling with it. Maybe because the readers have been exposed to more fantasy literature? That might actually count as having had it explained though - would our having read other stories about everything being part of/being a different perspective of one great whole count as having had it explained to us previously?

I'm fairly sure we can't form the spirit bomb while SSJ, so not a great loss?
Wait, what? Why not?

DBZ canon on the Spirit Bomb is a bit confusing, but basically you have to have a pure heart to use the technique, and the super-saiyan form carries enough latent anger and unquiet emotions that the techniques can't easily be combined. Maybe?

I would really like a citation for this, since this is a huge deciding factor on whether split off a GO clone or not. @PoptartProdigy , from what we think we've grasped, is this the case?
