Please don't, the salt and recriminations would be endless.

Better to keep the list unknown until the quest has ended.
Why would the salt be endless? it's a list from which the result are rolled randomly every couple of Years. Like the only salt that can come of it is low rolls salt, which isn't even that bad because that's just us being Choosing Beggars.

I am fine with it either way. I just don't get the salt arguments.

Edit: What's there to be salty about? The results?

Yeah, pretty much.

If we know the tables we will come up with what we do and don't want and get annoyed when the dice don't give it to us.

I definitely think we shouldn't know and then everything we get is a exciting surprise because we have no idea if we just barely missed something amazing or not.

Missing something really shiny by 1 point and getting annoyed about it, or even something like "man the base roll would have been cooler than what we got with the +5 Seo sucks" kind of salt is not out of the question. I don't forsee salt at other players, but salt at the dice when we can see everything that might otherwise have been is pretty predictable. Kind of no matter what we get, there's always going to be something that sounds cool that we DIDN'T get and people love to fixate on the negatives.

You know what I like about the Sherlock Holmes books? When Arthur Conan Doyle revealed who the criminal was halfway through the story.

But seriously, I'm jumping on the "please no list" bandwagon. Or at least spoiler it or something (and then the rest of you vultures don't quote it without the spoiler tags).

Noooooooo

Seriously, I want to know what kind of technology awaits us.

Yeah, pretty much.

We already know the best technologies in gacha, so whether we know the rest or not, the difference in the number of complaints will still be small.

That's just regular dice salt. We go through that like every 3 days the past 2 weeks where the dice have decided to low below average and break our hearts again and again. The dice have been somewhat painful to our soul in recent turns

On the other hand, having the lists available allows for awesome omakes and alternate timelines where different techs were rolled. The "glass half full" approach has a lot of merit.

Just remember to spoiler those Omakes for the same reason the lists should be spoilered. I like the idea of having the lists to read, but I agree that people should have a choice to ignore what is on the lists until it is rolled for to avoid feeling emotional pressure from the fear of missing out.

The Mission Planning office ran out of coffee.
I think we ran out of coffee back when this was CarterQuest. The mission office probably runs on energy drinks these days.

Mathpost:

Tanegashima Space Center (Stage 4) 132+326 = 458/500
Tanegashima Station Module Complex 41+162 = 203/200
New Johnson Training Center (Stage 4) 128+294 = 422/400
Tiberium Monitoring Satellite 81+50+20 = 151/100

Tiberium Heist: Extractor Probe 45+20 = 65/100
Tiberium Heist: Transfer Drone 117+40 = 157/125
Tiberium Heist: Tartarus 58+40 = 98/200
Craterscope 166+20 = 186/300 Nat 1

Roll Average: 40.6

A 1 on planning the Craterscope. Not really sure what that would cause since it's just prep work rather than actual construction.
Looks like we had 1 roll above average in the d100 results...

Have I got that right? That's horrific.
Well seeing as we were just starting it I would say the initial site was found to be not good and the planners had to scramble to find another suitable location (likely costing half of the progress on it we earned this turn). What do you think @BOTcommander?

So we have more crew training next turn in SCED quest and can start on the construction of the Transfer Drone for the Tiberium sample.
With one free station part from Tanegashima Station Module Complex we can start work on a new station.
Production-wise I like to focus on getting the monitoring array up and collecting the sample with any spare production going into the Mars research base and orbital station to support it.

Just make sure it's all spoiler-ed so that the people with queasy stomachs can keep their bliss from ignorance.
That's not a good solution. It splits the thread between those who read the list and those who don't. It means we'll have entire conversations, possibly even entire omakes, taking place in spoiler tags, with those who didn't read the list left out. It means the salt will still happen. Ultimately, it'll pressure people to read the full list even if they don't want to, just to have the information everyone else is operating off of. It'd be far better to just post the full list publicly than in a spoiler - or not at all.

That said, I think it would be nice to match up each of the rolls with the technologies that we have gained so far. Just not the unknown technologies.
