Special update.
Intelligence Report: GDI Space Launch Activity.
GDI has increased throughput on all of its launch sites. Agents around the world report paces of a minimum of one launch per day from every site, often two to three per day.
The progress of the Initiative's work has been rapid. From collating those reports, GDI has been putting roughly the mass of a fully loaded Saturn V into orbit every day, for the last three months. In this quarter alone, the Initiative has put more tonnage into orbit than humanity managed in total before the coming of Tiberium.
At the same time, Granger has begun preparations to name it the Takeda Memorial Satellite Constellation, in response to the successful assassination you pulled this quarter.
YoumaWho
So this is what the Devil's Granger looks like. Never have I felt more afraid of something I asked for.
OSHA_Inspector
That the payload capacity of a Saturn V into orbit every day, the dry mass of a Saturn V or the launch mass?
Also, 'Takeda Memorial Satellite Constellation'? I think somebody is a little butt hurt. Suck it GDI, you are not beyond our reach.
Githeggs
Fully loaded Saturn V, in orbit. Roughly 2.8 million kilograms. A day.
LaserKiwi2000
Damn it! This is some fine rollplaying you got here, I don't even know how I got on this subforum but I like it. Is this some sort of Nod rollplaying? What's the rules?
OSHA_Inspector
#LaserKiwi2000, the negaquest is over that-away.
#Githeggs, well, fuck. At least we know they don't want us dead. We'd be extremely, extremely dead if they did.
YoumaWho
#OSHA_Inspector And what happens when GDI finishes whatever megaproject they're shocking in orbit and decides to turn all that effort on us?
Githeggs
In some ways you are fortunate that you failed to centralize the Brotherhood more. Because the other option was Super B52s doing tactical area deletion on near orbital courses.
OSHA_Inspector
#YoumaWho, we've already seen that. It's called 'GDI offensive lasting several years'. And I'm not sure they called it off because they didn't want to continue for one reason or another, or because they found this mega project and dropped everything for it. Which scares me.
#Githeggs, well, that would've stung.
