Hypothetically, if Mathilde were to court the dragon, how might he react to Best Chair?

Oh god, the thread madness. Are we seriously talking about getting Mathilde impregnated by a dragon? Like, even putting aside inter-racial genetics and magic and whatnot, how the fuck would the actual logistics of it work? Unless he can, in fact, transform into a humanoid, but still. Romance is one thing, even physicality to a degree—although I maintain a neutral stance on both the Squickiness and morality of such—but actually pregnant requires... well, less of a size disparity, for one. Or, as Shrek taught us, for the larger person to be the female. Mathilde is not the larger person.

Originally, I was going to point out that there's probably a significant overlap between "people who want Mathilde to become a dragon" and "people who want Mathilde to fuck dragons", similar to how there's a pretty significant overlap between " people who want Mathilde to romance undead( O m e g a h u g g e r) " and " people who want Mathilde to adopt undead dragons( O m e g a h u g g e r) ", and that this probably explains the thread's sentiment (along with it being two weeks since the last update).

But since I am very tired at the moment, I am instead going to blame this on the Dragon Harem Quest being dormant for over a year now and people are getting desperate for a substitute drug.

I feel like the only thing that would come out of that would be Chaos Spawn.

I mean, several orders of magicians can create life without making chaos spawn, not all aberrations against nature are chaos aligned even in WHF

Tbh I am not actually serious, I am just joking around mostly... then again, so are most people who participate in thread madness... probably , so I guess you are correct.

As for size... I advocated for ulgu Logia before, but by researching size boundaries, maybe we can go for becoming Ulgu Big Mom instead :thonk:

Well Mathilde can always master all the arts and science of the Old Ones - she'd easilybe able to find a way around the size problems then.

That stuff would probably be helpful in a lot of cases now that I think about it.

Funny you should mention Shrek in the middle of assuming that the Dragon is male.

Ulgu tongs to artificially inseminate a Hysh Dragon would seem to be a viable research tree. Zo zat may be zee madness place talkink.

I wonder what'll happen, after all this voting and speculation, if the dragon simply goes "not interested" if the subject of interspecies romance is brought up.

Some amount of the player base is horribly disappointed, some amount of the player base is extremely relieved, some amount of the playerbase shrugs, and the mystery of Sparklebutt's genital configuration remains forevermore.

It doesn't have to be a mystery.

Mathilde: This is the United States Karak 8 Peaks Decennial Census! As Loremaster I'm supposed to tally up the numbers and genders of all inhabitants! Spiders and dragons included.

I don't see why people are worried about the contents of the dragon's non existing pants, we are flexible.

Note: I made the comic as SFW as possible, but the source is very NSFW so if i fell short of the acceptable threshold please let me know and i will edit/remove.

you know what would be nice to get with college favour? a Pegasus.

ya we have the shadowstead, but we want a flying option.

plus, every great wizard has one, expect Von Draken.

That's because Von Draken has a dragon instead. I want us to have a dragon too. You know, since there have already been a bunch of parallels pointed out between us, like the massive backlog of research.

She has a Carmine dragon, though, which matches her wind. Hysh is clear on the opposite side of the wheel from Ulgu. A wizard's first dragon is special, and Mathilde shouldn't settle for the first one she stumbles across.

Personally, I think it's more impressive to have a dragon of a differing wind, since it would be more difficult to do. And given that we have a trait explicitly about combining the effects of multiple winds together, it totally fits with Mathilde. We're not settling, we're accepting a challenge that Mathilde is uniquely suited for.
