So that makes me think, since we still have our "How living creatures react to Vitae" experiments I wonder if we might end up using a Snotling for one of the experiments.

I don't think we're even considering sapients until we exhausted animal testing. And we can't exactly do live experiments on (debatably) intelligent humanoids without skirting close to the rules.

And more to the point, we don't want to let the orc gods know about the juice, if it turns out beneficial.

I'm pretty sure there are no rules against sapient or unwilling experimentation in the Articles of Magic, these are the people who perform human sacrifice to make in incarnates. Any rules to that nature would be up to Mathilde's morality. I would certainly vote for such ethics but they should not be implied to be a matter of law.

There are however, forum rules to keep in mind. Combat to the knife is one thing, replicating the feats of Unit 731 is a step too far

All we did have some possible bad consequences. For instance, if we try the snake juice with animals, we might ends up with beastman.

We try it on plants, we might develop a new strain of Orcs that reproduce on seed instead of spore.

On animals, possibly, though that'd fall under "I did not expect that to happen and terminated the experiment on safety reasons".

On plants, that doesn't compute, more likely you get something like a Treant, orcs are orcs, plants are plants, the only thing they share is the color.

If we end up with beastmen we just kill the beastmen and write out the avenue of testing, it would not exactly be hard with Mathilde's skills.

That's how you get Black Snotlings.
Just ask the Chaos Dwarves how well their experiments with greenskins went. Attempting to magic a race that is so intimately entwined some of the most powerful gods in Warhammer, up to and including the Four, is a very ill-advised idea.

Might as well talk about performing experiments on Bloodthirsters.

It's interesting to realize that their is eight mountains and eight ancestor gods, according to the wiki and if you count Grombrindal, I wonder if there will be a temple to a different ancestor god in each of the mountains. Could be a future mega project for Gunners. We did speed up the previous one he was working on after all.

of all the thing to run into

wow, and who though this was suppose to be easy

oh, it just finding some snotling or orc in the cave system

fuck us so much right now
