So, since we're deciding/presenting possible research goals, I might as well talk about something that's been rattling round my brain the last few days.
See, one of the K8P's greatest problems (and off the dwarven race as a whole) is the declining population, correct? And fixing that is quite possibly the greatest thing Mathilde could do for her Lord, right?
Well, I had this idea about that: What if the dwarves just stopped dying? That would permanently solve the population problem, and give us a steady supple of stalwart defenders against the forces of Chaos and Destruction.
Now, if I recall correctly, weren't there some ancient people down south who made a potion that granted immortality? Like honest to
God permanent, for forever and a day, until the End of Times, comparable to the Hourai Elixer tier not going to definitively die levels of immortality? And I'm pretty sure the drinker can spread the effects on their own as well?
I think, if anything, that should be our next project. Like, imagine if we'd had something like that during the Sylvania campaign! Abel would still be with us, and not even the Greatsword's own incompetence could get them killed!
(also, this update featured another example of greatswords dying while failing their duty)
Does this mean you've finally given up on Abel and are advocating for Kragg instead?
There is more than one kind of love! The love a craftsman holds for their favourite tools is vital for any budding necromancers, you know.
