I like @Alectai's plan in general, but I'd prefer ceding the gold to Johann- he does tend to go through quite a bit of it, and if the fish jumped onto the boat we're well within our rights to toss it over into a friend's boat imo. Unless we have any particularly large expenses coming up that we should be planning for?

Our library and our facility development are a black hole yawning wide, and we've already spent most of our expedition windfall by now. An infusion of capital would let us buy more books and continue the development of our fortress of doom.

Dark elves are no less knowledgeable in magic than high elves. That's our best source of obscure magic theory for a foreseeable future. Let's pull a second coming of Nagash on the Druchii.

Fuck that, if he was being feted by Moulder, he was a big name with a great deal of infamy, they wouldn't play quite so nice for a rando emissary. Ulthuan would love to squeeze a fucker like that for all they're worth, and they can pay us very well for the privilege, in the kinds of lore that wouldn't normally be on the table for us.

I'm very seriously considering sending the elf to the Imperial Spy Master. Having intelligence on the political landscape of Naggaroth is huge because so much of their leaders are wrapped up in slave taking with Black Arks. Their politics inform their foreign policy to an extensive degree and the High Elves are never going to tell the Imperials any more than they have to about what's going on.

Druchii prisoners are not a prize the Empire gets all that often, and if we send him off to Ulthuan we might get a pat on the back but they're likelier than not not going to tell us a damn thing. And for someone like Mathilde that's a hard pill to swallow.

I wouldn't go that far, if he turns out to be a Big Name, they're going to be inclined to make good on that even beyond the intel squeezing. You want a chance to study for a season at the White Tower of Hoeth? that's the kind of thing that opens the door to that

Elven magical lore and writings on high magic. Hopefully. \o/

Well assuming Ulthaun doesn't try and con us, but yea it's probably worth the attempt fact that it's a male dark Elf also means there's likely to be no magical knowledge worth taking from him. Malekith doesn't much like male magic users.

I want to give Johann all the credit, the gold and the ratpups.

While he probably won't get a anti-Dhar belt, he might be given something else useful. And we have plenty of cash as it is.

For the rats... I am feeling generous.

Sending the elf to elfland is mandatory in my opinion.... though it is more because they are the most likely to get everything out of the elf and probably most likely to use that information the best.

Can we trust him to not... well, teach us incorrectly?

Or better yet, do you think we are good enough to torture the right information out of the Druchii?

As for goo.. give it to the library. They are most likely to figure out what it is.

[ ] Plan: Favors all around
- [ ] ELF: Extradite him to Ulthuan. (+???)
- [ ] SKAVEN: Claim him.
- [ ] PUPS: Cede them.
- [ ] OOZE: Send it to any College that will take it. (+College favour?)
- [ ] AXE: Split it.
- [ ] BOOK: Hand it over to the Dwarves. (Dwarf favour)
- [ ] GOLD: Cede it.

Ceding pup and gold to Johnson since we really don't have time or need of them, plus he got gold wizard specialties we can use down the line. Evil elf goes to friendlier elf since we do not want to invite surprises to the budding dawi hold.
Sending ooze away for hopefully jade or amber college study.

Basically does everything I wanted.

"Human! I am weak(?) Human! Take me with you!"

"Ok. If you betray me, you die."
I'm pretty sure "anokrit" is an ("me/I")+okri (craftsman)+it (preceding word is an action). That is, it means "I craft (things)", which following elgram (weak/feeble)+raki (seems to be a suffix used to describe types of people?) seems to mean that he's saying he's a humble worker. Which is logical since it would present himself as valuable loot for us but not a threat, which is just what a skaven would want us to think.

Ah, but this is a male Dark Elf. The only way he'd know magic is if he was Malekith himself.

And we'd already be dead if that was the case, yes.

Honestly, he looks like a big-name corsair prince TBH, here negotiating a deal for some monsters and not expecting two murderhobo Magisters to barge in and cast magic on him. Someone who would be missed, but isn't so important that the big guns would be broken out for--especially as we ended up fucking him up in the middle of a Clan Mors invasion that ended up succeeding--it's extremely likely any followers or allies of his won't even know we've got him until he's halfway to Ulthuan.

I feel like the fish and boat analogy is growing rather strained by this point. We should use the fish that keep jumping into our boat to buy a bigger boat so it doesn't capsize from all the fish.

Silly question: why can't we hand over the Druchii to the Dwarves? Presumably they have plenty of history in dealing with elf captives (and would rather like to keep him rather than handing him to Other Elgi)
