They'll take him off your hands but they're not likely to be especially grateful for it unless he's personally responsible for some Grudge or another.
What would the Dwarven view on handing over someone like this to the high elves be? Not in terms of how it'd affect us, but culturally? I imagine they can pretty easily see the relationship between the dark and high elves in terms of Grudges, but what's the view on handing over someone you know is the target of a serious and deserved Grudge to a group you gave your own issues with? Is that just not really done? Is it seen as a noble thing to do, to help a kinda-enemy settle their own Grudges? Like a "while we are opposed, you still deserve not to die with Grudges unsettled" sort of thing? Or would they just kill him and send an angry missive to say that they're doing your job for you, and imply that it was an incredibly easy Grudge to settle as a roundabout insult?

Second, a Skaven that spoke Khazalid. He promised to serve you, and though you don't trust his word you trust your ability to intimidate, and through the shared language you might be able to piece together Queekish - as well as question him for any other knowledge he might have.
[X] SKAVEN: Send him to the Grey College for questioning. (+College favour)

Your third live capture, a litter of wolf-rat pups. They're inquisitive and playful, and happily eat just about anything. Johann seems quite taken with them. Looking through your eyes, Wolf seems very confused.
[ ] PUPS: Sell them to the Imperial Zoo. (+wealth)
[X] PUPS: Send them to the Amber College. (+College favour)
[ ] PUPS: Claim them.

Request a report on battle capability and weaknesses.

Your fourth subject, also disturbingly living, a sample of some sort of ooze that was either growing in or being used as a Moulder surgeon's waste bin. It clings to anything that prods it, and if it's biological and doesn't put up a fight, it digests it.

Mention possible usefulness in sewers.

The fifth is simple: a Rune-axe that causes Kragg to double take, stare at it intently, and then grab it and beeline towards his workshop, muttering thoughtfully. The only real question is who gets the credit.
[X] AXE: Split it.
[ ] AXE: Claim it.
[ ] AXE: Cede it.

That is to say, favors from dwarves - unless he has an actual use for it as a weapon? If so, let him have it, take more college favors in exchange rather than gold, if possible.

The sixth is a strange one - a book on the anatomy of Chaos Dwarves. The Queekish is untranslated, but the many extremely detailed diagrams speak for themselves. Little is known about the Chaos Dwarves, but they are unquestionably enemies of both the Empire and the Karaz Ankor.
[ ] BOOK: Sell it to the Imperial Army. (+wealth)
[ ] BOOK: Send it to the Colleges. (+College favour)
[ ] BOOK: Hand it over to the Dwarves. (Dwarf favour)
[ ] BOOK: Claim it.
[ ] BOOK: Cede it.

Copy it for everyone, original to dwarves.

And finally, a chest of Lustrian gold. Exact valuation will require assaying, but you estimate about two thousand coins and Johann placed them at about 75% purity.
[X] GOLD: Split it.
[ ] GOLD: Claim it.
[ ] GOLD: Cede it.

I assume college favors will be split equally.

I agree with the decision to cede the Lustrian gold to Johann. We need it less, it makes him grateful which we can use down the line and exotic gold is implied to be a magical resource for the Gold College which makes it more valuable to him than us.
It also might end up meaning his head is pinkish instead of normal gold colored, which amuses me for some reason.

They'd kill him and be done with it. If you hand him over, the Dwarves will see it as you dumping their mess on their lawn so they won't have a problem with it.

If we send the Druchi to Ulthuan I doubt we'll see much in return, especially due to our close association with the Dwarfs.
Since we are definitely keeping the Skaven, we should also vote on what to name him.

Basil.

Not too sure about the wolf-rats, the lore says they're rather aggressive and unstable, and Johann is not an Amber so doubt he could do much with them.

Nagash improved the world because his actions caused SETTRA's resurrection indirectly
Hmm... you are right.

I mean, on one hand he singlehandedly wiped out a massive empire of man who had managed to use magic and theology to amazing results and had undoubtedly been steadfastly against chaos. Then made the Vampires, who beyond leeching on humanity have also made a superdeathplace of death and raise armies of the dead to try and attack the empire.

On the other hand, he sped up SETTRA'S resurrection basically on accident when he tried to raise SETTRA as a slave. I think.

You need some way to read Skaven language to get more than an anatomical diagram
Even an anatomical diagram can show things like the bull mutations they are going through. Which is important info to send up the chain if they don't know.

But if we decide to claim the skaven in order to learn queekish, giving the book to the dwarves should mean that it will still be there once we finish learning the language.

:o We found Skaven porn.

Even worse then that! What is in those fiction tomes is, in the eyes of skavenkind, depravity without equal.

Earnest romance and holding hands in the moonlight with someone they actually feel affection and love for. The sequels are even worse, overcoming societal norms for the sake of improving their position in life WITHOUT the use of treachery and murder, culminating with their peaceful departure from their antagonistic environment and forging their own future full of hope, happiness, and light-hearted frolicking!

Disgusting!

@BoneyM doesn't give Have Cake And Eat It options.
You have it the wrong way round. If we want to do that we claim the book, translate it then give the dwarves AND the College the translated contents.

Really it's a question of "are we willing to risk the Dwarfs finding out we had a book about Chaos Dwarfs And didn't tell them?"

*Mathilde walks into K8P with a Skaven in tow*

Mathilde: "Look what followed me home! Can I keep him?"

Belegar: "...just Mathilde being Mathilde. Just Mathilde being Mathilde. Just Mathilde being Mathilde..."

It sure is lucky that Belegar has a close friend and confidant who he's certain already knows about the Chaos Dwarves that's planning on learning Queekish. Involving us in deciphering the book doesn't spread their shame to anyone who didn't already know, and Belegar seems to have the right mix of radicalism and almost total trust in Mathilde to consider it. Of course the real question would be whether we tell the College about it. I somewhat doubt that even Belegar would accept us turning in a paper on the physiology of that one race of definitely-not-dwarves from the east, and taking an oath not to speak of anything we learn to anyone we're not about to lead into battle with some of their evil cousins would probably be one of the terms of our involvement.

Personally I think the Dwarven view is "We don't have the dwarfpower for this shit, let the knife-ears deal with their own crazies. We have better things to do."

The purpose is to interrogate the elf and the skaven for info relevant to K8P campaign. Then send the elf off to whoever we want after interrogation is complete. Keep the rat and the book to learn Queekish, we can then make copies of the book for favour. Ceding things I'm not interested in to Johann.

More seriously, @BoneyM, what does Mathilde expect the Dwarven reaction to her deciding to keep a Skaven would be? And on a similar note, how does she expect they'd react to learning she had a book on Chaos Dwarf stuff but didn't hand it over?
