considering the proposal SHOULD make sense on that minimum requirement.
I don't see why? IIRC this was dreamed up by a player as a means to capture and study undead, and ran from there.

[searching...]

In fact, it was your write-in:
-[X] Write In: Given the many forms and threats of undead in the region, perhaps it might be useful to have a dedicated unit to track them down and dissect them to learn how to better kill the things, how they might form, and how they might disguise or hide their nature, so as to actually push the undead back permanently. Something like what you did together on the transformed servants, but on a bigger scale.

No requirement on the QM for this to meet our mysterious puppet masters goals, as it has some concrete benefit potential, so it's not a 'trap option'. Just some more rope we asked for specifically.

None of this is required or especially helpful to record the type and density of undead the army encounters in Sylvania. Not like we have to track down every single roaming wight.

If you want to ship off bits of 'live' undead for some unknown reward, then sure, these guys could get them eventually, and probably get us an appointment with some of Van Hal's old colleagues in the bargain.

I will go with this plan because I am not behind over working unless it is necessary. I would however like to do this next turn before we setup up our enchanting lab so nothing bad happens, like some of our equipment geting broken because it took a lot of time to find all of it.
-[] Diggy Diggy Hole, Remixed: You're getting sick of having workmen tramping in and out of your abode. Recruit an entire team and personally oversee them to clear out all of the reachable portions of the Palace-Shrine and be done with it. (-personal gold)

[X] Plan Everything Checks Out
-[X][Information Network] Consolidation: You currently have a patchwork of useful contacts. Backfill so that you can rightfully claim to cover entire towns.
-[X][Stirland Watch] Hire administrators and clerks from Altdorf and Nuln.
-[X][Personal] Expand the Watch into the rest of the County of Wurtbad.
-[X][Personal] Expand the Watch into the Barony of Purgg.
-[X][Personal] Undead Research: This is Stirland. Time to bone up on your knowledge of the Undead, this time with the addition of Van Hal's personal library. (NEW-ish)
-[X][Personal] Pretty Good Swords: You've struck up a friendship with the Champion of the Greatswords and have discovered a talent for wielding them. Continue to cultivate this.
-[X][Personal] Use a Personal Action to perform another Organizational Action; can be taken once per organization.
--[X][Stirland Watch] Openly expand your information network into the military in the form of an Intelligence Attaché (Second Division)
---[X] Ranald's Blessing
-[X][Free Time] Free Time: Now well-established in Wurtbad, you can spend some time in your scant off hours getting to know someone better. Pick one character. (no action required)

I was surprised to see so many people opposed to Snooping, but I only chose it out of curiosity so I'm not particularly married to it. I've switched it back for Free Time: Wilhelmina.

Lots of people still voting for Constant Vigilance!, which is a shame. @Night_stalker doesn't appear to have made any of the changes @DarkLight140 suggested, which makes it the worst of the plans proposed so far.

I may have to switch to Everything Checks Out if we get closer to the deadline with no changes, but I'd rather sort out our home than expand the Watch to Purgg this turn, which was explicitly an optional extension of our orders.

[X] Plan Everything Checks Out

Why try to put ourselves at the head of yet another budding organization? Trying to expand the Watch to serve all of Stirland is quite enough, thanks.

[X] Plan Everything Checks Out

@Alliterate, you're probably going to want to change votes as well. The only thing it changes from my plan is finishing the home excavation, which it trades for an extra Watch expansion. That's a reasonable trade.

Why are people still voting for veekie? His proposal doesn't get us the information we need and saddles us with another organisation to eat into our actions and funding, only this one does nothing useful.

Saltpeter can pay for the whole intelligence apparatus. That shit is gold

Which would give us the necessary intelligence while also providing a useful service to Stirland.

Or at least @BoneyM is the only one who can say otherwise on the matter here

I don't see why I'm the only one qualified to weigh in here - anyone that follows the quest can certainly have an opinion on whether this plan would be able to gather the 'necessary intelligence', that being "re: undead types and density in Sylvania." You could found the group and have their opening task be to act as observers to the military to collect that information, but it seems an odd choice for a group apparently tailor-made to reach the bonus objective of "collection of live samples".

Umm so quick question, why aren't we at least considering getting some support from the Church of Morr for the undead investigation group? I mean don't their priests have any "pacify undead" sort of holy spells or something, seriously what do they have because I don't know?

The closest spell they have that remotely resembles "pacifying" undead is Threshold Line, which makes it difficult but not impossible for undead to pass over a line (which can be a circle) until sunrise. They can also kill undead, prevent corpses from being raised by necromancy, do various dream/divination things, and have a spell to put living people to sleep so they don't have to deal with their blubbering.

Sounds like all of those are very useful things to have on hand for our undead hunter organization.
