Ok,
So how would a college boon do this? The colleges are not involved in elector count-making, right?
Wouldn't the Queekish boon be the right currency for that?
I think you made a typo here?
It would still have guns and can still carry a fairly large number of people. Also it would act as a mothership for the gyrocopter.A flying Tower is at least unique, but what would we actually do with a flying airship that we can't do with a gyrocopter, since it doesn't exactly come with combat personnel?
But what do we plan on doing that needs such, given that the former likely requires AP/CF/Official Business if you want to go beyond just mercenaries, and the latter definitely needs AP to do?Imagine it flying over a location and then a bunch of heavily armored warriors fast rope down or maybe we bind some Knightbringers to it that we can deploy from the thing.
[X] Plan: The Prismatic Wanderer
I'm hoping we'll be able to dock on this with our Gyrocopter.
@Boney, should we have specified that?
We already know a Dwarf who is contemplating the idea of Dawi para-troopers and if we were to join in on any military campaign then it is only logical that the ship comes with us. In that instance we'd be able to acquire the required troops from them. But what do we plan on doing that needs such, given that the former likely requires AP/CF/Official Business if you want to go beyond just mercenaries, and the latter definitely needs AP to do?
While we have no concrete plans for the boat as of now, because the vote is not over. But what do we plan on doing that needs such, given that the former likely requires AP/CF/Official Business if you want to go beyond just mercenaries, and the latter definitely needs AP to do?
I feel that attempts to argue the usefulness of the flying boat are rather missing the point. Flying boat is for cool. Sure, there may be some practical purposes it can be put to, but it is very much not a matter of utility maximisation (thatd probably be the rainbow throng on a wide scale, or tenure and its 'you have the help of the most relevant LM on every action from now on' on a personal scale).Ratato said:A flying Tower is at least unique, but what would we actually do with a flying airship that we can't do with a gyrocopter, since it doesn't exactly come with combat personnel?
The We are a separate matter, but openly hosting Hedge Wizards would be in violation of the Articles, since their first and highest authority is 'the laws and ideals of Sigmar's Empire'. So a single province wouldn't be able to just go against the laws of every other province while still calling itself part of the Empire, I don't think. That said, if the religious Hedgewise orders are given the legal fig leaf of being priests rather than wizards, that might work.Plus the actual power. If Countess Mathilde says that hedge wizards and We are safe in her province, can anyone stop that?
The fact that 'getting used to it' is worth mentioning probably means we will need to either sink an Action into learning to use the armour or spent a few turns just wearing it before it stops being a detriment. Which is rather inconvenient if we want to visit Ulthuan next turn like we planned on doing.
