[X] Plan Pickle Requests mk IV
[X] Plan Tower of Doom! and Research!
I'm hoping that "flying Wizard's tower large enough to house one to two dozen people for an extended period of time" means that we could carry a larger force of elites in reduced comfort for a shorter period of time.

I wouldn't mind if the boat won either, but I do prefer these two.

[X] Support in dispatching Battle Wizards to one major conflict of Mathilde's choice
[X] Armor of von Tarnus

A flying Tower is at least unique, but what would we actually do with a flying airship that we can't do with a gyrocopter, since it doesn't exactly come with combat personnel?

It would still have guns and can still carry a fairly large number of people. Also it would act as a mothership for the gyrocopter.

Imagine it flying over a location and then a bunch of heavily armored warriors fast rope down or maybe we bind some Knightbringers to it that we can deploy from the thing.

But what do we plan on doing that needs such, given that the former likely requires AP/CF/Official Business if you want to go beyond just mercenaries, and the latter definitely needs AP to do?

[X] Plan: The Prismatic Wanderer
I do legitimately like this plan, but I'm also voting for it in part because I really don't want the armor option. While I understand the importance of the survival onion, I feel like getting full and semi-exclusive access to a one of a kind relic specifically for the purposes of 'what if our first three levels of survival measures fail' is a little bit absurd, even by quest standards.

I'm hoping we'll be able to dock on this with our Gyrocopter.

@Boney, should we have specified that?

We already know a Dwarf who is contemplating the idea of Dawi para-troopers and if we were to join in on any military campaign then it is only logical that the ship comes with us. In that instance we'd be able to acquire the required troops from them.

Also it is explicitly noted that magical weaponry is a part of the ship, meaning that there are good odds that the ship is going to have the ability to do something crazy like drop battle magic spells onto the battlefield.

While we have no concrete plans for the boat as of now, because the vote is not over.
It is potentially useful for basicly any non stealth offensive action we might want to make that does not take place underground, or indoors in buildings we insist on keeping no matter the cost intact.
Same for field research, or scouting large areas because it can hover aroundl onger than a gyrocopter, and can have greater number of people looking.

I still don't like that even just a small research corner was explicitly written out, doesn't make any sense to me. But it's still a sick as airship

Awake and working my way through the thread; in the meantime, votes!

With a hypothetical Elector Countess Mathilde, I'm wondering how bad the screaming would get inside the Cult of Sigmar once Mandred inherits and the whole political system is reshuffled, with wizards becoming the second most powerful faction overnight.

Plus the actual power. If Countess Mathilde says that hedgewise and We are safe in her province, can anyone stop that?

Well, I fell asleep before voting time, but hopefully this works.
[X] Plan: Mammoth Battle Altar Cavalry/Mammothry
-[X] Getting a mammoth trained for war, along with support for creating a kick ass battle altar on top of it. In the future, if this goes well, support for making Mammoths the standard (not only) mount for Battle Altars.

Again, this is story related, prosocial (it solves the classic weakness of wizards/Altars/artillery by defending them from infantry), and powerful.

Also, add burning shadows to they flying tower.

I feel that attempts to argue the usefulness of the flying boat are rather missing the point. Flying boat is for cool. Sure, there may be some practical purposes it can be put to, but it is very much not a matter of utility maximisation (thatd probably be the rainbow throng on a wide scale, or tenure and its 'you have the help of the most relevant LM on every action from now on' on a personal scale).

And as someone who isn't voting for it, that's great! I'd rather see Mathilde get something cool. My taste runs more to 'Mathilde is Sauron from the LOTR intro wading into hordes untouched and sending bits of foes flying' that the Armor/Branalhune combo offers, but that too is just a flavour of cool.

The We are a separate matter, but openly hosting Hedge Wizards would be in violation of the Articles, since their first and highest authority is 'the laws and ideals of Sigmar's Empire'. So a single province wouldn't be able to just go against the laws of every other province while still calling itself part of the Empire, I don't think. That said, if the religious Hedgewise orders are given the legal fig leaf of being priests rather than wizards, that might work.

I am also fine with the skyship, but it's winning.

While not an open sanctuary, there would remain sufficient gribblies even within a 'civilised' Forest for Elector Countess Mathilde's lifetime that she can be fully justified in 'encouraging' those who would hunt quiet peacable Hedgewise in her territory to pick a more important target.
