1. I am haunted by the question of rejuvenation. In a conversation with the Empress, she said that with offerings and good relations with God, he may well roll back age. Is it generally spread out? It's just such an opportunity and it seems that no one is using it. Like a rejuvenated count or an old witch hunter.
Is this possible for Matilda?
I know this is a small question, but it haunts me)

Heidi is not a typical worshipper, and was hugely understating how much she would have had to do to make that happen for the purposes of showing off. For most people it isn't really an option. But it's not really a concern for Mathilde because as she delves further and further into Ulgu, she leaves behind ageing as a concern. Growing old is a human thing, and she stopped being fully human when she got her first Arcane Mark.

2. In general, strictly in theory, is it possible to decipher the work of stones? I realized from Wikipedia and the explanations here that they are extremely important on the eve of the End Times, but I doubt that even by uniting a whole bunch of people, Matilda will be able to do a lot.
Like, yes, you have gathered, well, or will you try to gather people with different points of view, but is that enough? Even in theory, don't lizardmen need at least?
The question is, to what extent does the author assess the reality of the possibility of achieving something meaningful?

The thread is Trying It, and as such will Find Out. But completely reverse-engineering them is the dream scenario, there are a range of lesser and more realistic results that could still be beneficial.

3. To be honest, I don't even know how to correctly formulate this question.
Um ... will there be divine quests from Ranald?
Just seeing how close Matilda is to her patron, I was a little surprised that he did not give her any tasks. Perhaps I misunderstand the religion in the world of Warhammer (Well, or Ronald himself as a god.

If she sought them, she would get them. She hasn't.

I don't know if this has already been dropped here. But I was looking for world maps to write my fanfiction and came across this.
Detailed map of the world with the possibility of zooming.

While this is an extremely impressive map, it seems to have been built with the intent of squeezing in every single location that's ever been mentioned, and I've found it disagrees with canonical maps in a few places. It doesn't really matter much for most but it becomes a big deal for quest purposes if, say, Karak Eight Peaks suddenly gains direct river access, or Drakenhof stops being built on the River Drak. I've been using these ones instead.

Do you struggle to remember the members of the Colleges of Magic in Divided Loyalties, and wish there was a resource that listed them all and who they are? Then you're in luck, because I spent way too much time on this. Please tell me if I missed anyone or made any mistakes.

Excellent stuff. Comparing against my notes I don't think you missed a single one that's been mentioned in the Quest.

Couple things: Wilhemine Bucht should be Wilhelmine von Bucht, and Heinz Meissner being contemporary is from 1e, in 2e he was changed from current head of the Library to its founder and got punted back into the 2300s.

@Codex You might want to add this little detail on Reiner Starke's rumored feats that got him the Lord Magister promotion:
Details are scarce, but according to college rumour he lead a purge of the Cult of the Broken Wheel, a Tzeentchian cult dedicated to the destruction of the Colleges for the perceived crime of 'betraying' chaos sorcery.

How old is Reiner Starke currently anyways? Do we know when he was promoted?

Skilled assassin and spy.
For sure. There was of course his dismantling of the Lahmian Conspiracy- via a lot of murder- stretching to the very highest echelons of society. Perhaps that deserves a mention?
Old and experienced, although he refuses to use any Battle Magic that isn't Smoke and Mirrors.
Regimand, wise, seasoned master: I know my limits and am comfortable with my relationship with Ulgu. I recommend you think hard before going any further in to Battle Magic, Ma-
Mathilde, his former apprentice: Hold that thought, Imma just double-dip, Ultra-Crit to learn My First Timey-Wimey Battle Magic while I create my own brand new spell, contemporaneously.
Now, what were you saying?
is currently acting as Head Librarian of Kron Azril Ungol, Head Researcher of the World's Edge Branch for the Multidisciplinary Advancement of Thaumatergy, and the head of the Waystone Research project
Laid out like that, that's a lot of heads.

Fortunately we're not short of hats, either.

Does Mathilde know how old LM Reiner Starke is, since it was mentioned he was one of the youngest Wizard Lords in recent history?

I've been avoiding answering these kinds of questions because people get way too hung up on whether Mathilde is ahead of or behind some imaginary curve.

The only curve that Mathilde should care about is the arc that her magic cannon-sword makes as it swings and caves in the Horned Rat's head.
That, uh, is not going to play out the way you are hoping.
Just taking the immediate issues presented- I mean sure, Khorne's thing is anti-magic, but with just a fraction of his attention, Khorne no-sold Kragg's cannon Rune in that fight vs the Champion.

Just woke up. Made a few edits to the post to include Boney's corrections, Starke's Great Deed, Regimand's dismantling of the Lahmian ring and Magister Grey's status as artificer of the Grey College. I should probably list all the Perpetuals we had choices over, but that's going to take a little time. There's a lot of them.

Drat, forgot I had asked that same question about Reiner Starke before, but I still hoped Boney could give an answer anyways. We have met him several times now so I figured his current age was plausible to know about.

Between Arcane Marks affecting appearance and a general slowing of the visible signs of ageing, Wizard ages can be very hard to gauge. This goes double for an Order where everyone knows Mutable Visage.

My understanding was that its basically a couple of Shallyan Great Deeds on her part.

All the Grey Perpetuals from the updates are now accounted for. Got to be impressed with Boney for making so many intresting blurbs about such a varied group of people.

I'm considering doing a non college variation of that Rolodex, but that might kill me.

You say that but it'd sort of be dispiriting if all the other LM's reached their position in their early 20s. :V

Fwiw, i think he's in the range of 55-65, and has been promoted within the last 10 years

He's probably in his 40s or early 50s; he is almost certainly the youngest LM bar Mathilde and it seems unlikely all the other LMs would be 65+.

Mathilde Weber: Current youngest Lady Magister in the Grey College. Former Spymaster of Stirland and now former Court Wizard and Loremaster to King Belegar of Karak Eight Peaks. Known for her deeds as the campaign leader in charge of the destruction of Castle Drakenhof, and as an instrumental component in the retaking of Karak Eight Peaks and the destruction of Waagh Birdmuncha. Recently came back from the Chaos Wastes, restoring Karak Vlag from the Warp and confirmed Karag Dum's status, and is currently acting as Head Librarian of Kron Azril Ungol, Head Researcher of the World's Edge Branch for the Multidisciplinary Advancement of Thaumatergy, and the head of the Waystone Research project done in cooperation between the Eonir of Laurelorn, the Colleges of Magic and the Dwarfs of the Karaz Ankor.
Sounds like a total Mary-Sue.

I think that that's partially because we know so much about her. If we were to take any other of those LMs and list all of their accomplishments (including the classified ones and the ones that got never written up in canon or by BoneyM but are implied to exist) then their blurb would probably be just as long.

Or at least that's my head canon.
