Okay, I've got some strategy and tactics that may as well have come straight from Ostland for you. If I remember correctly Ostland is prone to setting traps around their towns in the woods to protect them from Gors...

We could have the combat engineers (that man the cannons the Emperor so kindly sent us) dig some traps in front of and to the sides of the Bull Warriors and then disguise them so at least the enemy's initial charge is blunted. Pits with spikes and all that good stuff. Since I'm willing to wager that Norscans are a lot less sneaky than the home grown forestry types we might get away with it without being spotted early.

Also we could put windage markers and such all around so the cannon don't have to have ranging shots and such to fire on the enemy... Ostka bruns well - we don't have any siege engines to utilize that fact and as a matter of fact the flamethrower siege engine hasn't been invented yet I don't think, but we could equip the Bull Warriors or some of our faster troops with molotov coctails easily enough; scrap of cloth, bottle of vodka... Set Norscans on fire... Causing confusion and difficulties.

We should definitely have the Priests of Sigmar call on blessings for the Bull Warriors beforehand of course... How many handgunners do we have? Or Ostlanders with rifles? Or do we have to build our own gunnery school before that segment about liking guns a whole lot becomes important?

Not really sure if we can do that, while I'm not all that good at telling the passage of time in some games, Stefan seems to take care of him fast enough that the only reason anyone seems to know about anything is because he told the reiksmarshall.

If we're watching out for anyone from Mark of Chaos, it would Thorgar, the Warboss, and Dark Elf that leads the warboss around. Thorgar we can for the most part count on to stay in Ostermark I think, no idea where the Warboss and the Dark Elf rampage through though.
