To be honest, I'm a bit surprised Emperor Magnus didn't send a note to the Royarch of Bretonnia about the whole 'just a heads up giant WAAAGH heading towards the Dwarfs' on-screen. Heavens know they do like their Errantry Wars against the orcs just as much as against Chaos.

Though given the recent Parravon mess, I suppose diplomatic relations aren't exactly in the best space for a 'Declare War On: Greenskins' request.

I suspect that Magnus probably gave Bretonnia a heads up just in case Karaz a Karak fell. Bretonnia could either have their hands full with something, or even could be on their way, but are taking a very long route.

"Good news! The filthy honorless Imperials have just informed us that the bulk of their military will be out of commission for multiple years! Time to reopen the Marienburge issue!"

More pertinently, Marienburgs entire army and navy are currently away. And the Manaan religious naval forces are gone as well.

This is the most insecure Marienburg has been in decades if not centuries.

You can't prove that Nakai wasn't part of the Lizardmen coming to go push back Luthor Harkon's vampire pirates that happened while Agatha and Alisa were there. Could have had Gor-Rok there to retrieve the Relic Priest.

They weren't focused on the Lizardmen at the time, mostly in escaping.

And, of course, there were the greenskins.

A lot of less of them than he had anticipated, admittedly, which had necessitated an unexpected detour towards the charming little sea of hovels known as Pigbarter. The standoffish folk within had not been entirely happy with him scouring the gnoblars and goblins from beneath their feet, which was one of the queerest things he'd encountered up until now, and that was saying something! Folk who almost seemed to manage a terrified sort of coexistence with greenskins? Remarkable, if not something he really desired to look into any further. What mattered is that he had more living bodies to barter with, and once he came across a group of ogres who came charging in demanding he pay them in portions of his undead legion to make them leave him alone, he had even more! It wasn't as if he had to carry them himself once he'd finally managed to drag them down, he had servants to do that for him, but even then it had taken a remarkable amount of effort to nonlethally take them.

But take them he had.
Hmmm, this reads as if Kemmler did not turn the human inhabitants of Pigbarter into undead, or as slave coin for the Dawi Zharr. Neither are the mention of Owl-Eagles brought up, and Kemmler isn't seen with a undead bird for scouting purposes. I wonder what brought that on for Kemmler. Realistically, wiping out Pigbarter would attract attention eventually from someone, it's a stop on the road for travelers, serves as a renewable resource, and if the Dawi Zharr and everybody else in The Dark Lands has chosen to let it exist, there's probably a reason for that. As a polite fiction that the Dark Lands are totally 'safe', and nobody should look in The Dark Lands too closely, possibly. Short term though, more bodies, means more barter, and more undead is more undead.

Edit:
Hmm. By the accent of the Reikspiel, likely some Westerlander.
I really like when Kemmler makes a odd turn of phrase hinting at a Imperial background. Amuses me a lot.

Kemmler: "Yep, this is a Imperial." Westerlander, guh.

It's like I can hear the bias of a imperial citizen. Which is nice to see as that's not something we get a lot of in the PoVs of other imperials.

Say @torroar , i plan to write a warhammer story on fiction.live where the central characters of frieren land in warhammer.

i plan to give different time periods as options for when they land.

Can i, for the old shortly/ during the great war against chaos offer the option of inserting into DoDa?

Got it.

I don't get the not there not them bit [are you refering to fiction.live?] But otherwise i got it.

It's not cool with you so it ain't happening. Thanks for the rapid response

I've just caught up to this quest after a lot of binging and I have to wonder how it doesn't have a User's Favourite award yet.

Amazing writing, nailbiting on many, many occasions.

This was me every time I couldn't tell if everything had crashed and burned or not.

I will now pray to Ranald for Freddy et al to make it off the Black Ark safely.

Wonderful Quest Torroar. Was especially wonderful to see how the Quest evolved and you improved over time.

Are they really that bad?
Sometimes. Fiction.live is a weird place. If memory holds it has it's roots in 4Chan, specifically in 4Ch' /d/eviant board banning quests. So there is a lot of lewd stuff, quite often rather fetishistic. But, to be fair, if QM is open and upfront about not wanting lewd stuff in their quest, they are usually left alone.
