One thing to keep in mind is tha Mundus don't shape average people, everyone and everything is over the top, how much over the top is proportional of the resources that can afford to be invested on them
What the hellhozen regime do is direct the resources that would inevitably be wasted on frivolities or just inefficiently into pragmatic aplication.
I also would dismiss the misconstruction that the training produce results only based on the intensity of it and therefore have risk of breaking people, its not it. They have aloted time for themselves and for personal matters as well as acess to resources to follow their passions. It's just that everyone is been keenly aware of what the os truly asked of them for the happyness eventually.

Night Razors looks a lot thinner than I expected, I thought that thing will be a lot broader/wider since it used to be a lizardmen weapon.

This is a piece of wonderful art that was commissioned by @Lonosic by their friend @y_zraa who doesn't have an account here.

Behold Arthur von Hohenzollern! A Prince of Ostland, the High Priest of Morr, the Founder of the Order of the Garden, Augur, Cleanser of Templehof, Scourge of Sylvania, Eradicator of the Red Abbey, Purgator of the Wolf Crag, Slayer Of Helgrid Harkon, The Black Bull of Ostland, Baron Hohenzollern of Vogelsang.

Wielder of the ancient blade Night's Razor, scourge of desecrators and defilers of the living and the dead.

Karola will either be a Countess known for her piety, kindness, and generosity (while her sister kills anyone who threatens or undermines her) or she'll be a priestess of Shallya known for the same.
Hopefully the Shallyan path. She's already interested, it seems like it'd fit her well, and it'd mean nothing crazy happened to pull her out of it.

Reminds me of the Black Prior from For Honor, espechaly with that hood. Is the hood and crown something born out of Arthur's sense of fashion, or is it a part of the "uniform" of his order, or sigh of his position in it? Because I want more of it.

Now I really want to see a piece with him an Serhilde together, they seem like a really sweet couple

As a reminder, Arthur gets to swing his sword around as if it weighs like a feather because of its enchantments. So he gets to one hand that thing as he desires, while it hits as if it were x3 heavier than what its already dense form suggests. It does not have a Runefang's cutting edge, but it has a damn good magical one regardless. It's an effectively unreplicable (though some daemons and other such wielders of equipment equivalents) and highly unpredictable combat style. It can really be bothersome to deal with someone who can swish that sword around with minute wrist flicks.

I wonder if its been blessed by Morr yet, or at least Arthur regularly puts holy oils and such on it to make it more effective against undead in general.

And in Ostland comely women give cat-calls and whistle at such.
well, considering the reaction described in that part: [CANON] A Party In 2331 - torroar, even after the Vampire War, it seems a lot of people have difficulties with Arthur's appearance

if her family had been so repulsed as others had been
...
so many stopped and stared before being jerkily pushed away by their companions.
...
the woman passing by behind her brother in a crimson dress who nearly dropped her glass of wine when she saw his skin.
...
"Sure, we have friends, associates, acquaintances, who can look beyond my appearance or any of that, and yes, we have those who cannot."

I can only imagine the phrases.

"Oi, pale boy! You got that rigor mortis eh?!!!"

well, at least his wife seems to appreciate :D

"It is not always about weight or size, my son," Arthur sighed, "It is often what you do with it that matters."

"Says the man with the biggest sword," Serhild whispered into her husband's ear, warm air puffing against him in the cold of the evening.

With that, he gathered up the weapons and bundled them together. Frederick did not quite understand why they accelerated so quickly to their quarters.

He regularly consecrates it before battle and after. Whether that has had any long-term effect remains to be seen.
Cool.

Likely to become artifact of cult after he passes so regular consecration, plus belief, plus the inherent magical nature of blade/material it's made of will likely result in some kinda holy effect over time if I had to guess.

I forgot about that. Well, we know at least one thing Arthur got from Frederick Sr. :evil2:

Hah, there are probably salacious rumors about the Hohenzollern 'bulls' and their 'horns'. 🤣

Well, there is also Wolfila, who, while not precisely normal, will probably never be notable (in a positive sense).
That said, anyone making fun of him, or gods forbid, trying to make trouble for him within range of his family will swiftly regret the day their great-grandfather was born, retroactively.

He has been noted to be interested in art. With an increased Myrmidian cult presence in Ostland that might mean more artists and opportunities for him to learn.

During the last Elector meet one of Johanna's companion, the Norscan, when entering his room to fight off the Skaven assassin joked about the status of Fred's Rod "So that's why they call you the Bull" he said something along those lines.

That said, what were those things in water around Claw Fred saw from high altitude?

All that said, there are a number of fires on the effective rear of the Ark, and you can see evidence of fighting down below from where it appears that the fleet has boarded. What remains of the fleet at least – much to your dismay, it looks as if more than two thirds of the ships you started the fight with have simply ceased to be, sinking down into the Sea of Claws as the waters churn with beasts.

Are they the reason Ostland fleet took a beating?

i am hoping that all the poor performance of our navy doesnt impact the perception of the great ship design.

That, or we need imvest in some way to deal with large sea monsters like depth charges or something.

Maybe Ogre navy time?

Eh, I doubt it, since most ships going up against a Black Ark are going to have a rough time at best. Besides, the Greatship design has been around for a minute, and has shown its effectivenes. Case in point.

Sea Of Claws 2335 Report: A small smattering of raids occurred this year, which, considering the total lack of them last year? It is not surprising that the guards were somewhat sluggish in their responses. In truth, this was business as usual, to hear the old white-bearded men and the old crones tell it. What has been happening in the past has been the strange part. Sometimes too much, sometimes too little. Whatever the Dark Gods tell the Norscans, they chose this year to raid along the coasts of Ostland. Some came close to Salkalten, but upon sighting its defenses they either turned around or made for smaller settlements along the coast. A number of their ships escaped back across the Sea of Claws with some amounts of plunder and a few citizens, but that is life on the northern end of the Empire. Other ships were not so lucky, and it turned out to be Ostland's greatship to be a great killer. After the wolf ships had chased and chased the enemy ships, they were unfortunately tricked into an area of dead wind, turning the contest into one of rival rowing speeds. The Greatship, however, was able to manuever itself previously into the headwind, and thus its massive sails allowed it to reach the retreating longships and turn them to so much kindling.

The great ship desings probably will eventually become the bulk of the imperial fleets, that said the real superweapons would be the Imperial ironclads that can arm stuff to deal with sea monsters based on vapour technology.

A greatship to me seems to me to be a ship thats equivalent to a 3rd or 4th rate ship of the line. Personally, the greatship has shown to be a great brawler. Heavyweight and with fighting capabality but is slow in return.

For more improvements for the Navy, honestly a ship that is smaller while retaining the canons of the greatship would be great. A frigate/brigantine/sloop would be a great add to the navy. Though we are at like the start of the tech tree. I reckon future Hohenzollerns would be able to do that. Tech isnt uplifted that fast in a single generation anyways.
