Hope we can mount one of the dragon skulls in our throne room or something after this since that is a worthy trophy for us. :p

Maybe get a dwarf craftsman to gild it for us or something.

Smaller. Scaldrithraxa would be judged by a Caledorian to be certainly of the Star Dragon ages in terms of elven judgement.
Scary, to think the sorcery and alchemy of the Dark Elves could make a beast born long after the Vortex into something that size! That's certainly not natural growth.

If I had known that I honestly wouldn't have been quite so optimistic of our chances going in…guess in this case ignorance was bliss.

that just means there is now more dragon for us to butcher and sell

Still kind of disappointed that Urgdug gave the finishing blow for the dragon. It means it won't be on Frederick's formal kill list.

I don't know what you're talking about.

  1. U'Zhul - Skulltaker, Greatest Bloodletter of Khorne, Slayer of Kings, Blooded Wanderer, Khorne's Champion (Partial Credit Shared With Ungrim Ironfist, Slayer King of Karak Kadrin)
  2. Orion, Avatar of Kurnous, Apex of the Savage Hunt, Twisted King of the Bloodstrewn Woods
  3. Vorteshka Flayerblade, Avatar of Anath Raema, High Priestess of the Savage Hunt, Ur-Shade of Naggaroth [Credit Shared With Eldyra of Tiranoc, the Sisters of Twilight]
  4. Drycha, Briarmaven of Woe, Handmaiden of Coeddil, Eldest And Most Malice-filled Dryad of Athel Loren [Credit Shared With Eldyra of Tiranoc, Naieth the Prophetess]

Why would it not be on the list at some point?

Why would it not be on the list at some point?

We shared credit with others for those since they helped, but the finishing blow was Frederick for all of those.

The Zacharias entry doesn't mention all those who helped out towards the end but I figured that would be a long list.

Doomclaw isn't on the list, and I figured that was because even though Frederick was a major assist, it was Thorgrim that finished him off.

That's why I figured the character has to make the finishing blow for the kill to make their personal kill list (with notes of assists or not).

Edit: but if that's not accurate please let me know

Wasnt Torroar talking about Morai-Wen qualifying for Star Dragon size there?
I don't, think so. I thought it was just the Eltharin name for Venomfang, and Venomfang was previously noted to be larger than average. And "Caledor's Bane", history of killing dragons and Dragon Princes, would assume an exceptional dragon as well for that.

I knew Morai was Star Dragon sized, thought it was just a smaller Star Dragon.

Please clarify @torroar : is Venomfang Scaldrithraxa?

Mmm, that's a fair point. I'll have to think about modifying that list then. Might just summarize the Zacharias one as shared credit with (Heroes of the the Old World) to keep it succinct, but Doomclaw could easily go on the list considering Frederick got smashed around and participated heavily in the fighting, but majority credit would be given over to Thorgrim. In this case, it'd be...say, Majority Credit, with Minor Credit To Urgdug for the killing blow or something like that.

Ah....no.

So, see, what I was doing there was being really clever, by answering your question about Morai-Wen by deliberately not replying with Morai-Wen in the answer, while the entity remaining the same assumed shape and near-nature. I wasn't naming Venomfang by its Eltharin name, no.

So the point of it was by deliberately answering a question about Morai-Wen by giving a clear draconic name, I was implicitly implying that the dragon is no longer going by Morai-Wen, while relying on the fact that the entity being a Doomfire Dragon would ensure implication acceptance of them being Emperor/Star Dragon Sized, because a Doomfire Dragon is a Star Dragon sized/aged dragon that primarily uses Aqshy/is red n'what not.

So...uh. Mystery be gone, I suppose.

S'all good. Just messing around with wordplay. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. It's happened before, it'll probably happen again sometime about something else with someone else. No worries, yeah?

Hope that after this event, if we survive of course, we can get some kinda summary of the fighting in Nordland since seems like getting a bit rough judging by short snippet the GM gave us.

I honestly hope its been a little easier for them since by abandoning coast they are forcing dark elf armies to head inland, which means their supply lines would be more open to assault and such.

Plus no Black Arks, probably no dragons, and the bulk of the Eonir reinforcements.

It might still be devastating for them, since Nordland was primarily navy army rather than our land army.

Ah, my bad.

I cant help but try to solve Mysteries haha...

At the very least we can probably guarantee Nordland is, at most, dealing with, like, normal soldiers like Corsairs, Dreadspears, Bleakswords, etc. Which, yeah, still pretty shit, but its for sure better than, like, any dragons tbh. Actually, would Nordland even be able to take down one of the Druchii dragons if they'd gotten one?
