As you say boss, just offered what I would have wanted in the golden rule.
Moving on: how big was Venomfang compared to Morai-Wen?
Scary, to think the sorcery and alchemy of the Dark Elves could make a beast born long after the Vortex into something that size! That's certainly not natural growth.Smaller. Scaldrithraxa would be judged by a Caledorian to be certainly of the Star Dragon ages in terms of elven judgement.
Ah, so the personality degradation proceeded so far as to take on a new name already?Scaldrithraxa would be judged by a Caledorian to be certainly of the Star Dragon ages in terms of elven judgement.
that just means there is now more dragon for us to butcher and sellScary, to think the sorcery and alchemy of the Dark Elves could make a beast born long after the Vortex into something that size! That's certainly not natural growth.
If I had known that I honestly wouldn't have been quite so optimistic of our chances going in…guess in this case ignorance was bliss.
Ehh? But Black Dragons are corrupted in the egg, so it was born this way.Ah, so the personality degradation proceeded so far as to take on a new name already?
Shame.
Still kind of disappointed that Urgdug gave the finishing blow for the dragon. It means it won't be on Frederick's formal kill list.

I don't know what you're talking about.
Why would it not be on the list at some point?
Wasnt Torroar talking about Morai-Wen qualifying for Star Dragon size there?Ehh? But Black Dragons are corrupted in the egg, so it was born this way.
I don't, think so. I thought it was just the Eltharin name for Venomfang, and Venomfang was previously noted to be larger than average. And "Caledor's Bane", history of killing dragons and Dragon Princes, would assume an exceptional dragon as well for that.Wasnt Torroar talking about Morai-Wen qualifying for Star Dragon size there?
We shared credit with others for those since they helped, but the finishing blow was Frederick for all of those.
The Zacharias entry doesn't mention all those who helped out towards the end but I figured that would be a long list.
Doomclaw isn't on the list, and I figured that was because even though Frederick was a major assist, it was Thorgrim that finished him off.
That's why I figured the character has to make the finishing blow for the kill to make their personal kill list (with notes of assists or not).
I knew Morai was Star Dragon sized, thought it was just a smaller Star Dragon.
Please clarify @torroar : is Venomfang Scaldrithraxa?
Plus no Black Arks, probably no dragons, and the bulk of the Eonir reinforcements.Hope that after this event, if we survive of course, we can get some kinda summary of the fighting in Nordland since seems like getting a bit rough judging by short snippet the GM gave us.
I honestly hope its been a little easier for them since by abandoning coast they are forcing dark elf armies to head inland, which means their supply lines would be more open to assault and such.
Ah, my bad.So the point of it was by deliberately answering a question about Morai-Wen by giving a clear draconic name, I was implicitly implying that the dragon is no longer going by Morai-Wen, while relying on the fact that the entity being a Doomfire Dragon would ensure implication acceptance of them being Emperor/Star Dragon Sized, because a Doomfire Dragon is a Star Dragon sized/aged dragon that primarily uses Aqshy/is red n'what not.
So...uh. Mystery be gone, I suppose.
Well it's certainly not good but there are reasons to be hopeful at least. It might still be devastating for them, since Nordland was primarily navy army rather than our land army.
The tidbit we saw had Witch Elves and 3 Hags with a Cauldron of Khaine. At the very least we can probably guarantee Nordland is, at most, dealing with, like, at most normal soldiers like Corsairs, Dreadspears, Bleakswords, etc.

Actually, would Nordland even be able to take down one of the Druchii dragons if they'd gotten one?
