Well actual their are def some endangered species where we have done that (Black-footed ferret is one example)
my biggest reason for bringing the giants to albion though is that they will be so so so much better of their, they will be with actual other people of their species, they won't be constantly hunted down, they won't have to scrounge for food everywhere, they can just have a place to be themselves, have free time and if that also help to deal with the inbreeding then that great too

First off - no one is taking an Albish wife with them. That's just...not a thing. Not a single one of the Greatswords or Knights has gone into any of that. Ya'll have been running so hard that it's march, fight, eat, collapse, wake up, march again, eat again, fight again, collapse again, etc. Secondly, if any kind of marriage happened, both would stay on Albion, because when you marry into a Clan, you move to the Clan of the person who asked first. And I can guarantee you that the Imperials don't have an Albish Clan to claim as their own, and therefore immediately would only be allowed to move into a Clan in perpetuity. Thirdly, just...we can put any 'marriage' conversations between the Imperials and the Albish to permanent bed at this time. If you want to be physically Albish, you need to be born and raised in Albion. So let's just move on.
To be fair Reinhardt was almost made a husband

Would be a big surprise if there was some Giant Migration to Albion. Not exactly smart enough to know why, but feel like it's better than wherever they currently are.

It's not going to happen. As soon as we are gone, the mists are going back up, and will stay up, for long into the foreseeable future. Even without that the whole project of bringing continental giants over would be a logistical nightmare. Not to mention the problems inherent with bringing new giants alongside the culture shock.

Just leave Albion to rebuild on their own everyone. They likely don't want or need us outsiders bumbling in with half-coocked ideas that would assuredly cause more harm than good.

There can't really be a migration, who is going to take a giant on a ship? Most giants in he Old World do not get along well enough with humans to even have a civil conversation, never mind pay ship's fare. That said the Albish Giants might have the resources to have some of their kin moved over.

We don't know that at all, the mist will be going back up yes but we don't know the degree to at all is it no one allowed in for a couple generations or some trade ships can come in every once in a while etc

also if we can help them rebuild we should since their a lot of stuff we have that they have no idea about that we could help them with, farming(new crops), blacksmithing, mathematics ect obv they should be in totally command of island not advocating for protectorate or colonization at all more helping them out sending expert to help them kind of like what we have been doing already

While I agree in general it pays not to be a Distinction Denier. We are talking about populations small enough to suffer from inbreeding, the solution to that is not some faux-scientific nonsense about 'desirable traits' it is simply to outbreed. We have never in the real world have to deal with an intelligent species which was broken up into populations too small to maintain genetic diversity for long term survival, but in the case of the Giants WHF that is very much the case so it makes sense to try to bring those populations together where possible.
Okay. Here's the thing, this discussion has either been disgusting or pointless, start to finish. The Albish parts have been put to rest by the qm, so let's talk about the giants. Whether it makes sense or not, trying to sail mainland giants out to Albion is not only logistically taxing, it's also not asked for.

I thought that after throwing everything we had at Maghda and her reaction people would learn, but apparently not. If someone wants something, they will find ways to make it happen. And another thing, you cannot shuffle people around models on a game board. Even with the best intentions, that gets people pissed, because at that point you stop treating them like people. It's partially why Katrine is so hated by the people she is improving and it almost got us a feud with the halflings during the first elector meet.

By average, their magical potential should be greater. They are literally living under an environment that brimming with magic. Does this create rampart mutations, or they are more resistant to such things compared to old world humans?
Probably more resistant to such things, They could also develop and control their own mutations, In theory at least

Let's just stop for a bit, yeah? Speculate on or discuss something entirely other than Albion and its inhabitants for a bit, please.

There's the upcoming Trident Meeting, the Elector's Meet next turn, the coming Beasttide...

Oh, a couple things I've thought of but don't think I asked about. Can we expect the previously mentioned treaty from Naraiel next year? Same question for the magic plant for Sunweaver.

just in case you missed the post the author ask to stop discussing albion and it inhabitants for the moment

I just finished rereading the Marienburg arc and was wondering what do u guys think middleland was up too?

Magnus is 5'10, Ortrud is short and very stocky, this is known and often joked about, coming in at around 5'3, and her son Reinhardt is 5'6 or so, unfortunately for him. Mena comes from the 6'0 Stephan and statuesque Odelia who is also 6'0, and tops out herself at 6'1.

EDIT: Whoops, fixed some stuff.

Before we go to the Meet, we should have a private word with Magnus about the events of Laurelorn and Albion. We could also ask him to bring the Imperial Spymaster so they can learn all about this too.

I complelty forgot that Ortrud was so smol. So much danger in such a tiny package. It's been a while, so what were our plans before this little adventure? I think we investing in something important?

Current Known Ostland Beast-Paths As Of Turn 38
Thanks to both constantly rereadings of past turn results to get right description and input from GM here is a map of the Beast Paths we know about in Ostland.

One that comes from Middenland/Nordland into the largest untamed part of the forest, one through the Middle Mountains from Middenland that ends close to Wulfenburg, one that crosses the border between Hochland and Ostland, and finally one that crosses from the River Talabec from Talabecland to Ostland.

Magnus is 5'10, Ortrud is short and very stocky, this is known and often joked about, coming in at around 5'3, and her daughter is a somewhat taller 5'6, while Reinhardt is 5'9. Stephan is 6 flat.

Reinhardt is 5'9"? Damn. 5'3" would have been a more amusing height difference between him and Aberfa. But that's still a good difference. heh heh.

I kind of hoped that he'd be shorter than his wife (Mena's sister), but if he's 5'9 she'd have to be a fairly tall lady. Still possible, I guess.

Could you elaborate? I'm not sure what you are referring too.

Fair, but I would like to start doing some serious political moves. Fostering our budding relations with Stirland and Wissenland should be our priority. Who knows what the rest are planning again.

We could also ask him to bring the Imperial Spymaster so they can learn all about this too.
Could you give a reason why? This does not seem like something that concerns anyone but the Magnus and maybe the Supreme Patriarch. If Magnus wants to share it with some spy network, who we have no knowledge of, than that is his decision.

You might want to refresh, I edited it to fix it. Reinhardt and Mena got flipped somehow temporarily in my head. Reinhardt is actually 5'6, which is still a massive height difference when you consider that Aberfa is 7'2 and muscles to match.
