[X] DD on Intensive Hunting.

It's what has the potential to cost us the most should it fail co laundering lives are at stake.

As for the Intrigue stuff, meh..I was hoping the opposite options won atleast with the Weiss so I'm bot that invested. And Rhya? I don't believe we could piss them off enough for another cult to have it out for us so..

Here I'm hoping that Ostland will be able to defend itself and help the rest of the Empire when the Night of a million hooves comes. Certainly, we will have an advantage. Whatever place is near the Drakwald will suffer the most I think.

I personally hope that Wolfila is revealed to be a savant if not a genius through some tutoring, prove to rest of his family that he doesn't need constant babysitting all the time..
Unlikely, okay in stat gen this is the -3 to +3 Wolfila got without the trait modifiers at base stats... Wolfila: D= +1 ,/, M= -1 ,/, S= -3 ,/, I= -1 ,/, P= 0 ,/, L= -3 ,/, T = +1 -8 = -7 . Trait modifiers tacked on an extra -12 to those base stats for a total of -19.

Traits show the fact Wolfila crit failed Learning and Stewardship, in stat gen better. Martial wasn't affected as badly as those two stats. -5 to base stat, shudder. To be fair 13 Stewardship, and 16 Learning are still rather high. Even though the end result for Wolfila is 8 Stewardship, and 11 Learning.

Stats aren't everything. Arthur shows that the most with his total stats from traits making him on par with Alexandra's total stat number with traits. The closest other Honenzollern with bad stat gen rolls is Logan, and he has good martial to compensate. Logan: D= -3 ,/, M= +3 ,/, S= -3 ,/, I= -2 ,/, P= 0 ,/, L= -3 ,/, T = +3-11= -8 (+3 Base Piety = -5)

Really weird, to me, the traits for Stephanie and Freya don't really showcase that Stephanie crit the base stat martial roll, whereas Freya crit the intrigue base stat roll like Ori. Stephanie has a martial base stat of 18, this is important because the highest Sabine's children in martial base stat gen should be able to reach is 16. Stephanie and Freya can benefit in traits from a successful roll on teaching the kids.

legend: median (lowest, highest)
D = 12 (9,15)
M = 13 (10,16)
S = 16 (13,19)
I = 16 (13,19)
P = 10 (7,13)
L = 19 (16,22)
T = 86 (68,104)

I feel like I relaxed that rule later on, specifically for actions that involved money that could reasonably in context be utilized. For instance, studying/creating the barrel thrower, that sort of thing.

Because that is, essentially, what DD is. The application of more money to increase the resources at hand, whether in materials or bodies. Does that make sense?
You did, and tutoring the Herd has a cost of 100, so we are good to go on a DD for that one.

Looking rather mulishly at her twin sister, Freya attempted to yank the mace out of his hand, only to remember that she was but six years old thanks to the fact that it did not budge an inch.

Magnus raised an eyebrow down at her.

"Uh…may I please have the mace?" She said, pink dusting her cheeks.

Said pink turned red as she saw Stephanie sticking her tongue at her from the side.

"Hey!" Magnus yelped as she let go of the mace that he'd only just begun to loosen his grip on and planted her tiny fist into Freya's stomach, having ducked low as her twin had raised her arms to protect her face.

Immediately Freya dropped the mace and gagged, but that didn't stop her from bringing both of her own hands together and slamming a hammer blow onto Stephanie's back. Before their wrestling could go any further, however, Magnus grabbed both by the neck of their tunics and dragged them apart and upwards. They didn't stop swinging their arms and spitting mush mouthed invectives at one another until a few seconds later. Covered as they were in dust and dirt, they resembled little more than angry and dirty cats in the air.

What is happening here? I am confused on why Stephanie attacked Freya.

She punched her because she could. Cause she's a child. They're children. Sometimes they just...do things.
So you did mean for Stephanie to swap places with Freya right before Magnus's eyes. That part wa very confusing, as I was having a difficult time knowing if Freya was holding the mace in Magnus's hands or Stephanie was. The words swap Stephanie and Freya interchangeably. The part I quoted, had Freya attack Freya, as Freya was holding the mace in Magnus's hand.

Curious, since we are going to Elector's Meet most likely after the interludes focused on Marienburg (and assuming the big beastmen attack doesn't happen yet) was there anything we wanted to bring up to that specifically? I think we talked about a more equal trading deal idea after the initial one pointed out as being super unfair, but anything else?

I think people want to talk to the Ar-Ulric about the "spreading Ulric's flame" thing.

Elector's Meet happens Turn 39, not turn 38.

Hmm. Ah, yeah. No I see what you meant now. I think I fixed it?

Don't think so. Jax's plan needed to be scrapped entirely and so did the other trade agreement. We haven't put any work into making a replacement and don't have the time or knowledge to do it even if we wanted to.

Since we're not doing it immediately, what are thoughts about nudging the odds of a new flame in Wulfenburg a little by floating it by Logan first at the Meet? Privately, obviously.

I mean, it's explicitly focused on combat abilities and martial tutoring. I wouldn't be overly surprised if Frederick determined that interfering with them as far as their characters would be overstepping his bounds or something like that.
Freddy is the head of the house , patriarch of the family , chief of the clan , nominal leader of dynasty and their grandfather it would be completely within the rights and bounds of his authority to help his grandchildren in fact it would be expected as part of his grandfatherly duties

also @torroar is there a chance for Freddy to impart learning traits as well as martial ? after all Freddy is one of the smartest guys in Ostland and is a master blacksmith , master engineer with several inventions to his name and most certainly one of the best legal experts in the empire having spent over a decade studying over 2000 years worth of conflicting laws , precedents ,edicts ,proclamations , decrees ,mandates ,regulations and all the loopholes and technicalities within them and then fixed them all . so it would be nice to see him imparting some of that hard earned knowledge and understanding

Electors meet maybe we should tell Magnus about the Druchii Black Arks hiding in the Sea of Claws. The Flame itself should be mentioned, might even get aid to speed up the building and fortifications for that iceborne flame temple. Other than that I'm not sure what to talk about and propose. Like we have no indications of major beastmen. I hope the Marienburg interlude settles our debacle so major political issue there may no longer be something to speak of. Trade Wars are more private matters unless it hampers the Empire.

I guess one major proposal I'd be interested in seeing is a measure to make a permanent Albion port for the Empire. A local ally, we'd all make money, it'd fight Chaos in the forms of Fimir and would reduce the amount of slaves Dark Elves can extract from the islands.

I guess a report might be about the lack of Norscan activity which could mean something big like someone trying to be an Everchosen.

For other propositions by others there's the obvious Ork Waagh in Black Fire Pass and the Ork Skaven Demon fight that might spill over. We might be asked to send forces there.

Elector's Meet 2337 IC – 1
No, it happens ever five years and last one was in 2337 and this turn is 2342 so it should be happening this turn if I'm not terribly wrong.

Certainly would be more comfortable about doing it if Ar-Ulric was behind idea and not just province's high priest.

Fair enough there, here is hoping someone else has in that time if we are lucky.

Most certainly Albion related stuff since that is larger scope threat to Empire's co
