[X] Yrillian Diplomacy

Since I forgot to actually cast my vote after the first system got scrapped, I would have gone for this anyway as I agree the Shipyard report isn't time-critical information.

edit: I saw that @AKuz ! :V

By the way, does anyone know what happened to Janice Rand? She was first officer aboard Excelsior in '94. Going by the careers of other TOS characters, I'd be a bit surprised if she hadn't at least made captain.

I like it.

[Makes note that Cardassian torpedoes do not look like regular-people torpedoes, for his draft of the Polaris incident]

What does it mean for the arc to be over, come to think of it? The defeat of the biophage and the conclusion of the first round of five-year missions worked pretty neatly for that. But the Cardassians aren't going away, and they're probably going to keep trying to mess with us for decades.

I think the Caitian-Dawiar war should be the end of Season 2.

I seem to recall the Cardassians and Romulans using plasma torpedos rather than photorps. Figured I'd give them a different color than the usual red.

Cardassian situation is over when the border zone is no longer contested, either because every race has become unshakable in its affiliations or because the big war happened and either we or the Cardies got pushed out entirely. Doesn't mean the Cardassians will never be an antagonist again, but this specific conflict has a clear endpoint.

I think the Caitian-Dawiar war should be the end of Season 2.

There's still a chance we can end that war before it gets properly started.

So.. we're going to release the Renaissance 5 years earlier than canon? Aren't we a little worried that it might be underpowered-ish?

Anyway, on the refits - As I understand it, we're planning to scrap the Miranda and Constellations and build newer ship classes instead of refitting them?
