Silly question, but considering the dragon lorebuilding, what would a Bismuth Dragon be like? Metallic, but also rainbow, good or "evil"?

I'm afraid you're going to have to point me at some source material; On a brief rampage through the internet (Rawr!) I couldn't find any D&D source material for a Bismuth Dragon. Some foir the Dragonvale mobile game, and a periodic table of elemental dragons, but nothing D&D related.

Sorry if that doesn't answer your question, but I need more information.

So more like this, minus the gun... probably minus the gun.

Erwin on a couple of occasions is noted to have a large handgun. So, likely to not have the little revolver, more than likely has the .44 automag or Webley .657 instead,

Free Nazi given chocolate is still free chocolate. That being said, would it still be considered Nazi Chocolate if sent anonymously? Who would consider not eating chocolate even if they knew a Nazi gave it to them?
I wouldn't, because I wouldn't be able to trust it's safe to eat.
Dunno if it's fanon or not, but isn't a side effect of Amy's power is that she resistant to the point of being immune to toxins and diseases?

Thus showing what a shit Eidolon is, because Amy obviously can't heal Alexandria (or her eye would have been fixed).

Actually, Eidolon was one of the two, Legend was the other. Alexandria's gift is in putting the medical bill on the PRT's tab (but Amy doesn't know that).

The point I'm trying to make is that Panacea is highly respected in the parahuman community, by both heroes, villains and independents.

I think they were asking for someone to come up with a lore spread for a Bismuth Dragon since there isn't one as far as I am aware. I could be wrong on either of those points though.

Also loving this story so very much. This fic scratches my fantasy lover itch for more dragons (of which there will never be enough) along with being very enjoyable in all regards. About the only complaint I have is wanting more of this story every week than just one chapter. Keep up the great writing.

Considering the little detail that Kaiser would do a Vlad the Impaler impersonation with anyone that would dare try to poison Panacea, and that every non-bomb tinker in the bay area would freely scan every one of the gifts she's getting before they can reach her room, it's reasonably safe to say Nazi Chocolate would indeed be safe for her....

there are not enough fics where the amount of clout Amy has is used, like it always comes close to happening like here but i haven't found a fic where an army of capes shows up in BB to avenge or just hammer down a party responsible for hurting/killing dear PanPan

My immediate reaction when reading Yamada's scenes in Worm was "why are you talking to her, Taylor? She has a conflict of interest."
Is it just me, or is Yamada easily the most important non-powered person in all of Worm?

No, Doctor Mother doesn't count, since she was (obviously) basically just being manipulated by Contessa. Not like she'd know if she was and Contessa's power didn't want her to.

So Death Wish 3 Bronson then. :p

I'm pretty sure the disease part is canon. Amy's power is touch based and any infectious organism that comes into contact with her is automatically changed into something harmless. That shouldn't work with poisons, but with Wildbow it might.

Yeah, only thing I'm finding is Periodic as well. It's a start on personality structures though, being vain, but not strictly petty, and perhaps a Color Spray breath weapon?

Carol SHOULD feel bad, the cow... [rant halt] Sorry.

So, Amy's a Silver, right? Would she have been granted a higher level of Cleric spellcasting, you know... for the healing spells so she could heal brains without worry? Well, that as well as smiting and whatnot for self protection? (as if being a dragon wasn't enough for that)

Mercury Dragons tend to be insane though....
What?? Where in the lore does it say they are Chaotic Neutral? They've been Chaotic Good for as long as I remember. Just ADD af if they're not raised right. Hyper buggers, sure though. Definitely more Chatty than Silvers or Steels. *nod nod*
This is going to end with the whole city becoming dragons, isn't it?
If Team!Dragon needs a chatterbox with flashy spells and mind reading, let me know. I've a Young Adult Mercury Sorc/Psion they could borrow. :D

Too bad Gem Dragons were phased out.
Amethyst Dragons are excellent with Diplomacy.

And speaking of Dragons (as if we weren't already) will they be able to help the Youngling Digital Dragon? She's a sweetie, and the most caring character in Worm, IMO.

Depends on if the poison in question is biological in nature, or just a toxic/poisonous chemical. To my knowledge, she has no problems working with nonliving biomatter, so If some high-class assassin tries to inject her with pufferfish venom or something, she can probably change it, but if someone forces her to drink bleach she would be fucked.

WTF? Is he holding it by the barrel? Yeah, it's got some kind of heat shield, but still.
It's hard to tell from that image, but it's not uncommon for light machine guns, intended for use while carried like he is using there, to have some form of grip forward of the receiver, and there is definitely some form of cowling over the barrel, probably to aid in heat dissipation.

In real life, carrying and shooting a belt fed machine gun from the hip is not a good idea, no matter how dramatic it looks. It can be done, but without some form of hand protection (even a simple glove would do) holding onto that cowling would get uncomfortable fast, and likely painful in just a minute or two. Then again, if they are putting down suppression fire for a couple seconds, or similarly shooting briefly at a massed group, then they might be able to get away with it.

Since I've never seen the movie in question, I can't say anything about the situation. I can say, however, that action movies from that era cared more about good looking shots then realistic ones. Not too different from action movies today in that sense, really......

With all that said, it is unlikely that Erwin, he who has balls bigger then Bahamut, will be using a machine gun anytime in the course of this story, so really, we can instead focus on the sorts of weapons he might actually use. Perhaps he has a .40-70 revolver sufficiently overbuilt for handling hot-loaded ammo, for instance; that should cover all of his hand cannon needs, since such a weapon is capable in real life of killing an elephant, much less most younger dragons......

How is he gonna get Swiss chocolate if Switzerland is a simurgh quarantine zone?
From Swiss refugees that charge a premium to sell VERY overpriced chocolate.

On the subject of Erwin, maybe it's because I first read about him when he was "just" an old fisherman, but I had a very different man of action in mind for how I envisioned him....

.... just with a few more wrinkles and a less ornate coat......

(Let's face it, Juzo Okita may not be running around in the field anymore, but there's no denying him his status as a badass.)

So while I may be light-hearted in saying "Yer a dragon now, Taylor." and poking fun at the meme, in truth, that's what happened. Taylor's spirit and the spirit of the teenaged equivalent dragon Naurelin have merged and become one unique being. A power nullifier could nullify Taylor's shard derived power all day, it won't save them from getting claw/claw/bite/wing/tail/presenced/lit on fire by breath weapon. Likewise if a mage decided to cast Disjunction on Taylor, she's still a dragon.
I just imagined Hatchet Face near Taylor before dropping a building on her, and after giving himself a pat on the back the rubble shifts and heats up, until an angry and big eye appears glaring at him
I love Baleful Polymorph, because under the right circumstances, you can end up with a 14HD squirrel with a breath weapon.

Hiding in plain sight.
Something I feel I should note : I have made use of a bit of head canon that dragons can instinctively sense each other over a wide range; I've been using about 2 miles as a rule, more for older dragons, less for really young dragons. Then, we have Crystrani, who has been well within Taylor's range for some time, and not sensed at all.

The explanation is simple - she can effectively mask her presence. Think of it as an extension of the disguise and/or hide skills and her ability to take another form. Silvers and Song/Steel dragons are very, very good at it, as are the older gold and bronze dragons. Tiamat, of course, either doesn't care, or can simply turn it on or off as needed because she can. Bahamut can only be sensed if he wants to be, Tamara doesn't show at all, Hlal only if it would be funny, etc.

So there you go.

You know, with such a large percentage of the active dragon population in Brockton Bay, one must wonder how long it will be before Hlal decides to stop by an have a bit of fun pranking those who are just to darn serious.

People like Armsmaster, or Director Piggot, or Mister Anders. All people that, in the eyes of a Trickster God, would do well to learn how to relax and not sweat the small stuff.......

Anyway, going forward, one must wonder is Amy will be getting a Ring to let her access a Lair of her own, or if instead she will need to set up her own Lair. One must also wonder if a thousand dollars in pennies will be enough coins for her to nap on, or if she will need some other solution for her scale burnishing needs.....

(On a related note, how will her bank respond to her telling them that she needs to withdraw $1000, all in pennies to begin with.....)
