And to be honest, her Seeds, our Seeds. I think Mami would find comfort in that.

I'm not actually certain on making a Clear Seed right now, though, because I'm not sure we're gonna stay in any one place for the ten or so minutes it takes to make one. And because the feeling of all that Grief being released might bother Akemi and Noriko.

... I was thinking we could maybe make the Clear Seed while walking, but now that I think about it, no.

Thought for how to ask Nadia about 'bombs -- "I'm going to be interacting with magical girls from all around the world soon, and I'm wanting to know if there are any facts of magical girl life that girls from different places might respond poorly to, so that I can be careful with those subjects."

It gives a clear and obvious reason why we're asking her about this, and makes it so that our question won't accidentally 'bomb Nadia. Plus, it's entirely possible that there are other 'bombs that apply elsewhere, but not locally, akin to how the lichbomb seems to have less of an impact on people who don't consider it important to their sense of self.

Also doesn't imply to Nadia that there's more than just the lichbomb, which would be a failure if she's not witchbombed.

I think my issue is that it doesn't do much to let Nadia know that it's safe to witchbomb us. Especially because it's framed as "things that would be problematic for other cultures but not for us".

Although I have to agree with Vebyast, asking things that might cause problems for magical girls around the world doesn't do a great job letting her know that it's safe to discuss the witchbomb. In a way, it kind of makes it look less safe, if we're acting like we're not sure if there's more to the system that we don't know about.
 
We need a "blind application precaution" meme? If we can't test, should we do nothing, or try to make the bomb less likely?

Something like " Let's not talk Magical Girl difficulties yet, until you get me back with you? Just focus on the good we can be doing right now. "

As it stands this vote is a bit too long, but it's late and that's my only real problem with it as it stands. (though I may edit it to a more direct approach to Nadia later if a course of discussion presents itself.)

Lacking in concrete ideas on how to tell if Nadia is witchbombed at the moment, my first instinct here is to ask Homura: If Nadia is universally bombed in Homura's experience it's probably safe to let Brina-pilot deal with her.

Failing that, we might be able to make an opening to talk the witchbomb it via the Asunaro situation. (Possibly via asking if she's seen such a thing firsthand, but that needs fleshing out.)

I'll also point out here that Nadia is the news-guca. Rather than merely telling her about our own de-witching project, it may be wise to ask her about other attempts and informed persons, then share. Learning who was witchbombed should also tell us whether the Shiogama girls know and provides a road to know if their friend, Tanaka Misato, was killed by a witch or became one. (Since that info would probably have been edited)

Also, might as well ask. @Firnagzen, do we sense any grief seeds on the Shiogama girls?

There's one, huge, glaring flaw with this vote.

It takes the chance to get Homu into a private conversation in timestop... but does not hug the Homu first thing.

Do you realize how long it's been since Homu's got a hug? Do you not have your priorities straight?

To get Homu into hugging range and then not hug the Homu, specially knowing we're not gonna push any uncomfortable topics with her right now?

More seriously, has anyone suggested observing Homura's magical abilities for learning raw magic manipulation? We know she has a shield of raw magic she can make and I'm fairly sure she has an offensive version of that, just a blast of raw magic? They're just expensive and inefficient I think.

Actually, I think that this is still useful, just not as an opening - if Nadia isn't witchbombed, we can recover from "Is there anything else" once we realize she's not witchbombed by following up with "Okay, cool, wanted to know if there was anything for other cultures...".

They're not in canon as far as I'm aware. All we know is that they're the survivors of a group that had one of their members killed by a witch and are essentially refugees looking for a safe place to settle.
