I thought the plan was to stack as many overly dramatic things together and come off as a chunni trying too hard.

Greif Wings, descending while playing Liberi Fatali (cause One Winged Angel is overdone), Have 'Menacing' Kanji floating off of us, All while in our favorite JoJo Pose.
And our coat billowing in a sudden, inexplicable gust of wind.
You know, I just realized there might be a flaw in this plan. Sure, it'll have the desired effect of weirding out Umika and Kaoru, but there's a not-insignificant risk that Michiru might think that we're being cool unironically. :V

And? Michiru might as well be Sabrina's sister already. Every one of the Saint's attack names are references to various TV series and movies, and she pretty much had a journal prewritten full of said names.

Michiru is the biggest dork in the entire series. Why wouldn't we want to be her nerdy Sempai?

Now I want to go all-out to impress her. Gotta get Kamina shades in our outfit before we get there. What should we do with our hair?

I guess it's been long enough people might not remember, but Mami offered to buy Sabrina a smarthphone; Sabrina went for a cheap flip phone instead.

That's why we don't have internet in our phone.

Clearly Sabrina is unfamiliar with all these newfangled dodads and doohickys abound. In her day, people could only have flip phones and the internet screeched at you when you connected.

Our next Mobile Oppression Fortress needs a porch to shout at kids from

Flip phones are harder to break, don't pocket dial, and the battery lasts for a week straight.

*shakes fist at all the young whippersnappers in the thread*

In my day we used the Lynx browser on a black-and-white computer with a 14.4 modem and we liked it!

Version 2: If a grief marble can cross the diameter in one second, (with just enough offset to miss us of course) that's shows we have time to spare. (200 m/s = 720 km/h.) This gives us a lot more leeway as we can get to Asunaro in 20 minutes or less.

"Hello, Michiru. I have to apologize. I'm going to be late for our meeting."

"Oh, gosh. No problem. Did something urgent come up?"

"Well, I was doing some magical testing, and I railgunned myself through the torso by accident. It turns out, when you move something across the middle of a circle centered on yourself, you're in the flight path."

"..."

"It's OK, I already called Mami, and she's calling this healer we know."

"Success!"

" But Sabrina, you badly injured yourself. Why are you convinced this was a success?"

"Yeah I got hurt, but I managed enough leeway to miss my Soul Gem."

I live on campuses. UIUC and NU, specifically.

As far as I'm concerned, flip phone and tablet >>>>>> shitty battery phone.

[X] Wake up before Mami. Use grief to cook breakfast without getting out of bed. Clone or remote-eyes to see what you're doing. Help Mami make a lunch to swap with the Asunaro crew, like Kazuza suggested.
[X] Radio Mitakihara Morning News, your one-stop shop for all the latest at breakfast-time!
-[X] Bring everyone up to speed on Asunaro plans.
-[X] Ask about news or plans from everyone else, keep everyone on the same page.
[X] Clock grief movement speed.
[X] Get ribbon from Mami like a knight asking for a favor. Spin it out behind you as you walk to school, try to push your magic through it.
[X] After seeing Mami to school, science session! Make sure the others know you're going to be studying your powers, so if you don't respond telepathically, try again in a bit. Set an alarm so you'll get in touch with Kyouko at about nine.

Changes from Godwinson's:

Radio Mitakihara during breakfast instead of radio on the way to school keeps times we usually call more consistent. Also if we do it early and any of them want to make points, (or suggest/prepare dishes for that matter) it gives them and us more time to respond.

Recommending the ribbon test on the way to school because, IIRC, we're using it as a test to extend our range. There's a lot less opportunity for that to pan out as well on working on our own.

Speed test before other science because even my proposal takes only and, given the speeds and distances involved, if it takes more then literally 12 seconds finish it, we know something is wrong and that we'll want to focus our research on going fast. The park in front of Mitakihara middle school should occurs to me as a place to do it since the path through it has an excellent sightline to make sure we don't hit anyone by accident or anything but a limited version could be done just by looking out Mami's apartment window.

"Set alarm for about nine" because I want plenty of time to make sure we can deal with irregularities. EDIT: And if there are no irregularities, we can return to science after finishing discussion with Kyouko, or even on the flight.

While I haven't changed it, I do want to make sure we don't mess up the "breakfast in bed" plan. It occurs to me that while Mami is getting used to our witchiness, that's not quite the same as being used to it. And given how it pushes against meguca senses, that's not a sensation I'd like her to wake up to. Especially if it's that sensation itself that wakes her up.

I'm not sure if there's a way forward for cuddling while cooking. We could see if it's possible to make a non-witchy making a chibi us via shaping solid grief and messing with light emissions to give it color, computer screen style, but... Eh, I don't the the feeling people are enamored of it more than remote mechanical eyes.

Sabrina: Embodiment of Internet Peoples and powerful Wizard Magical Girl. Doesn't know about Google Maps, makes Play-Dough.
Google Maps doesn't play nice with straight line paths. It tends to assume you have to do plebian things like driving or going to an airport. :V

This, yup, and you got a SIM card on Mami's ID.

Cell phones are real physics. We should be able to grief them up just as easily as we did the scanner. Even if we have to back off to things like rod logic to pull it off.

We've established that Sabrina can emit EM radiation, so she should be able to emit radio waves on the same frequencies used by the cellular network. Whether she can encode the signals in a way that the cell towers will read is another question.

Mami's hair looks great down, and it's going to be down in the morning... Mami's hair is going to look great in the morning.

That's going to be Homura's first inkling that something is different. Mami's gonna start wearing her hair down half the time.

[X] The Phoenixian

Ribbon test logic is intelligent

OOOOOOOOOOOOH, also, taking bets on whether Mami is a "tell everyone" or "keep silent until asked" kind of girl
