So saving her from dying is like saving Michiru Kazusa from witching?
Basically, her death causes one of the girls that she was a mother figure to to go full sociopath, and form a convoluted revenge scheme to get Suzune, who Tsubaki was also a mother figure to, to turn into a Witch. This was because Suzune was indirectly responsible for Tsubaki Witching out, as she kept giving Suzune all of her Grief Seeds.

So that other girl was a petty shit who deserves a slap on principal?

*waves hand* "You don't need to see my facilities. These are the silicon wafers you're looking for."
"Why did you let the inspectors in?!"

"It was an accident!"

"An accident?"

"I meant to say 'these aren't the silicon wafers you're looking for'..."

*Facepalm* "Of all things that threatened our fragile, nascent magical economy, we were done in by a typo..."

Pretty much. Before she contracted, she pretty much figured out that Magical Girls turn into Witches, and decided to become a Magical Girl just to get revenge on one girl. Her wish was outright, "I want Suzune to experience the same suffering that Tsubaki did."

To do this revenge plot, she erased and modified Suzune's memories so that she would become a Magical Girl assassin, modified her own sister's memories, outright killed one girl when she was becoming an obstacle to her plan, taunted Suzune with the truth so she would despair, and then forcefully turned herself into a Witch to kill Suzune and her sister when it realized that her plan was going off the rails.

She's not an absolutely terrible person provided that she doesn't have reason to, but she still has the potential to be extremely vindictive.

Roughly equivalent, yes. It's not quite as big a shitstorm as Kazumi Magica was, but I seem to recall that it turned one girl evil and she got about a half-dozen others killed.

It's worse; you're forgetting that Suzune was a Magical Girl assassin for multiple years. Like, probably five years going by Word of God.

Which also means it might be too late for us to save Tsubaki, unless Firn altered canon.

It wasn't a typo. The whole idea was that we'd be selling silicon wafers. So we needed to convince the buyers that these were the wafers they wanted.... :D

Shit. I was not aware that it had been that long. Never mind, then. The situation there is already well and truly clusterfucked. :o

I realized when I woke up this morning that I wasn't done with that image. Six hours later...

Someone stop me.

EDIT: uploaded a new version with some stray pixels dealt with.

Raw xcf here.

I know that Suzune has been a Magical Girl for a long time (considering she's 18 by the time of Suzune Magica), but I can't seem to find any source for how long she's been a Magical Girl assassin.

I doubt she's been under Kagari's control for 5 years, considering Kagari is Matsuri's twin and is supposed to be around the same age as her. With the fact that Matsuri is supposed to be in middle school by the time Suzune Magica starts, and the wiki estimates her age to be around 13-14, that would meant that Kagari would have to be 8 or 9 by the time that she started her revenge scheme. I can understand if the plan was anything from quite a few months to a little bit more to a year at most, but 5 years is way too improbable, unless Kagari edited Matsuri's memories and she's much older than we think she is.

Muggles aren't going to be paying the girls anything for doing all this. Which means we'll have at least a subsection of the economy directly under our power.

It's ultimately up to how much we want to stick our fingers in business (free market vs mixed economy vs planned economy), but if there's a magical need that we feel isn't yet addressed by the economy...

We can pay for it with normal muggle currencies. Even giving out Clear Seeds for free, we still have immense untapped assets. Griefbending lets us build the tools to build the tools (ad infinitum) to build things much more quickly than many people, and our meta-knowledge gives us an entire world of media that we can dupe with Griefbending (altering the accoustic & visual properties of Grief), record, and pass off as our own.

(okay maybe not that last suggestion, it feels dirty)

Of course, this assumes that we can stop Meguca crime against normals (Homu can't be the only one with BS stealth-applicable powers, how easy would it be to just steal what you want?), but even if we institute law and order, it may be too easy for thefts to fly under the radar.

Why even bother with stealing stuff? Sabrina can outright produce entire new works of audiovisual fiction as easily as she can imagine it. Even just faithful movie/television adaptations of existing books.

Looking at it, it seems to be 3-4 years. Suzune stopped her aging by WOG, and Kagari and Matsuri definitely seemed to have undergone puberty. They could easily pass for 10-12 in flashbacks.

Actually question - would word of clear seeds Tsubaki & Co toward Sabrina?
