If we combined these lasers with the grief eye idea, we could make eyes that shoot lasers! The fact the weapon is an external 'eye' also helps with aiming.

... We totally need to spar with Ramiel now. She thinks she can LZRZ? We'll show her LZRZ!

... Or maybe she'll show us, whatever. :V
 
If we can use light and sound might as well make mobile flashbangs or blinding lights.
Honesty I kind want to see if we can buy flashbangs and cover it with grief and use it as feint attack.

Don't forget about the matte shields (I'd like to say "I guess I was right about having safety walls being good" but any real combat we're going to be in will probs have safety walls - just ask Ramiel.)

Usable: there's the idea of that auto-focusing thing Vebyast linked (I still have the tab open), as well as passive reflection defence from gaseous witchy grief.

One of Marisa's shot types is called Illusion Laser. Had a hilariously powerful bug in MoF where having 3<=power<4 and unfocused made the lasers tend to clear Spell Cards before the bullets even get to Marisa due to ridiculous dps. I shiver to think about the destruction that would result from combining this with IN's MAlice Cannon.

[x] Smile broadly. She's right, of course. If your attacks don't have fantastic names, why even bother? You might as well be one of those poor, sad people that don't name their attacks at all!
-[x] That said... hmm. 'Finale' should be reserved for a grander light attack, you think. You've only scratched the surface, here. You're thinking... 'Lux Aeterna"? 'Eternal Light' is appropriate, since the whole point of this attack is that it keeps going outside of your range...
--[x] Or should we go with a different language, maybe? Italian is graceful and elegant, and fits Mami very well, but... our style is a bit more blocky and utilitarian, isn't it? German, maybe?

Well, new poll on Sabrina's mind did reveal a change of opinion, @Agent Whiskers. Though yes, I can see reading it like that.

I need to first consider whatever actions I consider important for next update before giving that proper thought. Kinda just read the update + tired :p

Its very non-standard for a Midchildan Device to have a melee weapon as its primary form, because Midchildan mages tend to be much more ranged focused. Intelligent Devices (like Bardiche) are the rare oddballs that do whatever the fuck they want.

Much like Klarwind, the Armed Device that isn't a weapon except in support and "one at sufficient velocity" applications. On the other hand, one could probably have a Storage or Intelligent Device made to look like a hammer, though it probably wouldn't be advisable to use as such.

...As Sabrina doesn't have a Linker Core, this is probably starting to stray into Brain Damage™. Maybe we should stop. Or, we could see just how deep the rabbit hole of optics goes.

I still want to try growing our hammer to kaiju smashing size at some point :V
