Eh, I actually think that works. Should we get specific here, or just say something that boils down to "tell her literally everything"?
I'd like somebody that has actually read the manga to pitch in, I guess. I haven't managed to get a hand on it.

Are there parts that need mentioning in the vote itself?

[Q] If Oriko says yes, put on a Wizard Hat.
-[Q] "Stay a while and listen."
--[Q] You're now Witch Wizard Wise Maid.

"Shakespeare once said that all the world is a stage and every player has their part. Your part, no matter small you think it is or how large you want it, is not a solo piece. Other actors, other people, depend on you to do your part for without it the story changes - and for some a story without you is not much of a story at all."

"Also, I'm totally not Walpurgisnacht."

"Which is obvious, since I am not a Witch."

*Nods* "Makes sense."

And that's how we convinced Oriko that we're Walpurgisnacht.

And ninja'd. :D

To be fair - I forgot about the contations of stage play in PMMM.

I'm really not seeing a problem here.

So, the obvious solution is to headpat them both? Got it.:p
It's a fine art. You must carefully time the application of headpats -and previous to that the proposition and acceptance of headpats- so as to make both Ojou and Best Buddy reach the 'purring/giggling phase' nearly at the same time.

Mistiming this technique will result in one of the two starting to enjoy the headpats way before the other one, in which case the one not yet appreciating the ancient art of headpats will quickly become jealous of the headpats being applied to the first one.

In case of critical failure, both Ojou and Best Buddy may attack.

It's paranoia talking, but that itching has got me worried. Still, said itching can take a seat way over the opposite end of our bus of problems.
I'm pretty sure it's just because we modified our costume.

Why do we even have a costume? Yes, it's a magical girl trope, but why? It doesn't improve our fighting abilities. It can't be a symbol for people to rally around like a superhero, because we're secret. It has to be something about us.

We have a costume because it represents our magic. Our soul. It suits us*, on some metaphorical, emotional level.

So yeah, we can modify it if we want — it's well established that magic does what you want it to — but it won't feel right. It'll always be stuffy or itchy or something, because it's not the right symbol for our soul.

* Pun not intended, but somehow salient.

While I agree the maid outfit doesn't fit us well because it can't represent us while at the same time being the very same object that should do so, the Magical Outfit does provide benefits beyond not getting dirt in our normal clothes and looking badass.

While transformed, we've improved magical abilities. For example, transforming helps Sabrina both multitask and control her Grief better. Not sure whether I can find the quote.

Thought: Test whether our abilites are currently being boosted by our Maidgical Outfit. Maybe changing the outfit nulls the normal bonuses.

EDIT: That was easy:
You get better access to your powers when transformed - in Sabrina's case, more multitasking, more fine control etc.
