This seems like a relatively harmless way to let loose and have some fun with everybody, especially if we start including music. Should amuse those who get the joke, and bemuse the ones that don't.

I forsee pouting in our future if nobody laughs.

I mean it's fine to be a little silly but this is still for Sayaka's benefit so I'd like to try and at least take the spar as seriously as Sayaka does.

See above.

Not doing Stop, Hammertime seems out of Sabrina's established character,

I'm... not really convinced this has been established as part of her character.

and since it doesn't hurt anything why not have some fun?

Ehh. Playing "U Can't Touch This" lyrics while fighting and probably winning against poor Hero of Justice Blueberry when her powers give her a ready made inferiority complex smacks of bullying.

And I've been informed that we're operating on "no bully" rules, apparently, so that's a bust. :V

More important, there's not really a prompt to go all 'STOP', and thus, the 'Hammertime!' part doesn't have quite a decent lead-in.

That phrase should be reserved for a time when we interrupt in a fight. Kind of like when mom crashed in on that SayaKyou spat in that alleway, though she did't bust a cap afterwards, so even then it would't fit.

Basically this. Playing music while sparring indicates that you aren't taking it seriously; i.e., you're toying with them. That is not something Sayaka needs, even as a subconscious/unvoiced fear.

Also, it comes across as arrogant.

Sabrina Vainglory +1?

On the other hand, isn't it always right to Bully the Blueberry?

I'm not going to lie. Given the high density who have a deep hatred for Sayaka, I can't be certain you're kidding.

There's only, like, a couple of people who actually hate her. Or even dislike her, really. It's mostly a minority.

[X] Muramasa

I wonder if we retained any trace of combat instincts or skill from the harness. We should take her seriously, though. Odds are, she's around the same skill level as us, or better even.

Is it the hat? It's the hat, isn't it?
... I think it's the hat.

We're better right now. Once this really gets going and Sayaka learns about just strong she is, and how to ignore pain, etc... it should be a good fight.

Sword vs hammer though... Doesn't make for much of a spar.
She is more agile, so if we don't want to actually wound her (which we don't), she overpowers us no problem.

Maybe use solid Grief for "waterbending"? If solid Grief can even be cut...

Sabrina's hammer ignores the weight issue. She can swing it as quickly as any sword.

Depends on how you fight. A warhammer is very similar to many other polearms, principally in the reach advantage it has over a sword. No, you cannot spear someone attacking you, but a large weight rammed into your gut will do quite nicely. The hammer end is good for crushing blows; the spike for piercing. Much like a spear, the long reach allows for mechanical advantage when parrying and counter attacking. If Sabrina keeps herself grounded and keeps the head of her hammer pointed at Sayaka, she doesn't need to move very much to have a substantial advantage over any attacks coming her way from a single opponent.

The trick, in this case, are the potential for ribbons. That will require good footwork, which Sabrina lacks. Losing her stance means losing her principal advantage, and in a melee-only fight things will become tricky.
