This whole tangent is funny because Firn's character in a PMMM-setting RP's concept pitch was basically

<EtchedSteel> "There are some weird elements."
<Me> "Mhm."
<Firn> "...I wonder if I could check everything as SWORD. Power: SWORD. Element: SWORD."

It's also doubly hilarious because her name means bow and he didn't even intentionally make that pun :V
Much to my eternal shame, yes. I should commit sudoku.

at least until we got guards on all the important people we care about
"I'm glad you're concerned about me, Sabrina..."

"Right, so two more bodygua-"

"I can defend myself."

"But who knows what the universe will throw at us next!"

"I've been fine... OK for two years."

"But one mistake-"

"I don't need twelve bodyguards, Sabrina."

"... Do familiars count as bodyguards?"

"..."

"... Do-?

"Yes."

"Oh."

"..."

"You're not gonna ask-"

"No."

"About the fam-"

"No."

"Ah, OK."

Writing out each number with a sword?
Replace the numbers with pictures of medieval weaponry.

The Barrier itself doesn't take that long, I think. Sabrina gets lost fiiling it, yes.

But the thing is that the Feather seemed to be caused by our Barrier (maybe), an that's tied to the time-space shenanigans that almost killed Sayaka, so we're not risking that again.

I'm feeling increasingly doubtful that what we did actually cause Feathers to do something. Has it occurred to you guys it did that on purpose to make us shadowrun or get us to stop making barriers?

At this point, I'm more convinced it was done by Oriko just to fuck with our heads than anything else.

When in doubt, blame Oriko.

...I must get Firn into one of my games...

Ditto here, I didn't read past page 1570 before skipping to the current page(was 2000's back then), did people really do something as foolish as make a cityscape instead of just letting the barrier flow/etc?

One would think that you wouldn't try to win a rally when you are first learning to ride a bicycle.

We didn't specify the barrier contents at all. It wasn't even in discussion (that was more about an UBW/TARDIS interior), much less a vote. The cityscape was a natural occurrence.

has anyone compiled all the theories on what sabrina's origins are?

and are we ever going to tell momura homura about our theories?

cuz we are definitely related to homura and madoka somehow

I'm saying that a quest is more a story than a game, and that like any story it has many different outcomes - because the purpose of a quest, like a traditional RP, is to tell a story. Whether it is winnable or not at all was something you came up with by yourself.

I think I was clear on that state, so please.

Do not put words in my mouth.

Again not trying to put words in your mouth. You said that as a response to me saying "Sixthly, the existence of the thread indicates that Firn thinks we can win. I don't see any other way that winning is possible." This suggests that you are objecting to the idea that Firn would only make winnable quests. That there could be "different outcomes" as you put it. A "different outcome" from winning is losing. I don't understand how that could mean anything else. Again, if the problem is on my side (which I admit could easily be the case), I apologise, but then I simply don't understand what you are saying.

Hey guys, rather than going around this circle of angry debates, let's have a fun debate instead!

Ojou fight.

Oriko vs Hitomi.

Who wins?

What kind of fight? A debate, Ojou-off or in combat?

didn't that only happen because we voted to do the "let there be light and imitate god" vote when making a barrier?

It happened when we didn't vote that as well.

... Wait a minute, thats a good point!

Was it the Barrier itself that took that long to create, or the BLOODY CITYSCAPE that Sabrina willed forth? Somebody (not me) needs to archive trawl and find out!

... Mind, Firn may not have codified creation time, but this important research, curse it!

We didn't vote to make a cityscape the second time. It just happened.

I'm feeling increasingly doubtful that what we did actually cause Feathers to do something. Has it occurred to you guys it did that on purpose to make us shadowrun or get us to stop making barriers?

It's been brought up multiple times. But if that's true, it doesn't change anything. We know feathers does act when we make barriers. Whether or not that's only time it can act is irrelevant to how dangerous barriers are or to the fat that making barriers isn't actually useful.

EDIT:^ Some of our conjectures involve Homucifer, so we can't tell Homura all of them.
