Shouldn't we check to see if Elsa Maria is close? If so, we can avoid doing anything that might be dangerous.

Whoops! Then wouldn't it be better to stomp her before trying anything delicate with Sayaka?

Not particularly, no.

On top of that we haven't actually tested if timestop works properly when entering a barrier. So there maybe a potential risk there.

Anyway let's get Sayaka out of harms way first.

[X] Muramasa.

I think witch kisses at range aren't too crazy. Hitomi walked quite some distance whacked out of her gourd to get to H.N. Elly.

You know what'd be hilarious? If Feathers wasn't actually our enemy.

Something like:

"Fuck you Oriko, you're not watching that." *Throws feathers* "Nor that, no way you shitty seer." *Throws more feathers* "Nope, not working, nothing to see here~." *Keeps throwing feathers* "And definitely no- wait what's that? Sayaka's Witch Kissed! I need to warn someone! Eh, ehhh, how do I do that???" *Flails around* "I know! This'll get their attention!" *Throws a single feather at Mami and Sabrina*

Feathers is secretly a quest protagonist in an alternate universe of SV.

Another thing to remember is that Sayaka was an integral part of the Law of Cycles in Rebellion. It's possible that a connection still exists, even if Sayaka herself is not aware of it (similar to the connection between Madoka and Madokami). This would be a possible motive for the attack.

But like...that technically includes all Magical Girls who will ever hypothetically exist in all universes except Homura and Sabrina.

Also, Sayaka was probably witch-kissed due to her anxiety with the Hitomi thing? I mean, timeline-splicing aside, that is the highly probable temporal causality of the event.

Why doesn't it include Sabrina?

Madoka, existing atemporally, gathered the souls of all megucas when their soul gems eventually shattered except for Sabrina (who didn't exist until this timeline) and Homura (because when she tried, Homura went full devil).

This ignores any magical girls who were immortal/didn't become witches due to wishes, and assumes that there were no meguca versions of Sabrina who died in any universe she had access to.

If Madoka exists atemporally why does us not existing until this timeline matter?

The 'timeline' is a line in a bowl of water. Normal 'entities' are strings there. Atemporal existence is the rest of the water in the bowl, and 'they', those who are atemporal, can swim around the line and stuff. We're a needle held outside of that bowl with it's tip in the "timeline" moving forward at a rate of one second per second, and all the other 'strings' act as if we were a string leaving itself in the places where we went, so they can't tell the difference.

We can't really be dealt with retroactively OR proactively, because "they" can't swim towards the rest of the needle, because it's held outside of the actual bowl.

This theory is, of course, taking the fact that we haven't been 'Dealt with' retroactively as proof that we can't be 'Dealt with' that way, and if Homura had already encountered us in her loops then this model couldn't work. This model also couldn't work if the Big Bad was going easy on us for whatever reason, so really it's just wishful thinking with an accuracy level on par with that guy who said that the world was made out of Air, Earth, Fire, and Water. I just like the mental image.
