I don't think we even know what the hole faces deal was. Was it sapient? Was it a monster? Was it a man with an exotic Cultivation style? Was it a sign of the presence of The Enemy? Who the fuck knows!

Had a thought about the water spitters:
If a well fed one could be captured and kept unconscious, it could probably serve as a living, easy access blood tank for the seeress.

Having hopped up onto a raised surface in open land to sing songs to all those who would listen, you're feeling pretty good about life.

That is, until the songs are sung back. A winged shadow passes overhead.

You look up, the Void-Eagle looks down.

What do you do?

I did tell multiple people with children I would be singing, also thank you I.F. My plan worked perfectly.

Now to not die!

Sorry like I said, does the beast look visibly injured in any way, this isn't my action btw lol.

awww, they're singing to each other, that's adorable. Less so if the birds next action is ripping out his intestines, but eh, that's life.

The bird seems to have used its ice magics to replace the damaged bits of wing, thereby restoring its flight. The ice portions of the wings are clearly weaker than their physical counterparts. They likely won't function in summer, with the heat, but now in the winter it's prime time for icen prosthetics.

Well we now have an idea of its whereabouts

edit: Does anyone want to try and make a form Jarl-Soul?

Final question does the bird look visibly hungry or visibly intrigued?

(Kare if this works I am so sorry)

Alright Do or die then.

[X] Akali: Showing no fear for himself Akali makes way for the children so he can sing more to the bird drawing as much of its attention as possible, his Sun Striker art is brought to the fore as he shines making certain the beasts knows that he is the most precious prey.

He then waits for he had heard the tale of Kare who was struck from behind, his Frenzy would tell him of its trajectory and if it vanished into thin air or approached he'd not give it a moment to react before grappling it and trying to crush its neck under the weight of his martial arts.

He then waits for he had heard the tale of Kare who was struck from behind, his Frenzy would tell him of its trajectory and if it vanished into thin air or approached he'd not give it a moment to react before grappling it and trying to crush its neck under the weight of his martial arts.
The bird disappears in a puff of icy smoke, Akali's Frenzy working overtime to track its movements. Though his Frenzy had led him wrong in its intended course of action--or, at least, the method it would go about it--his intelligence more than makes up the gap in ability.

Whirling about on the spot, he leaps off the raised platform just as the Void-Eagle reappears behind him, beak primed to snatch up one of the now-fleeing children. But it was not to be, for Akali's arms wrap about its neck as he squeezes with all his sun-strengthened might. Bones pop as the bird squawks, but death does not find it this day.

Thrashing its head around, the bird manages to break Akali's grip and fling him to the ground. He scrambles to his feet, Frenzy screaming at him, but he's not fast enough. The bird's talon rips strips of flesh from his legs, robbing him of motive force.

The bird looms in the sky, its head blocking out the sun. Lifting a victorious leg, it prepares to deliver the final blow.

A screaming warcry splits the air as a knife sinks home. Plunged deep into the leg upon which the Void-Eagle stands is a child's little belt-knife, one belonging to none other than Bo Eriksson, the five-year-old son of Erik and Agnes Olsen. He stands there, shaking, as the bird turns its gaze on him; but even with the hate-filled eyes of death on him, Bo meets it with what little determination his young heart can muster.

And that's all the distraction Akali needs to soak up as much sun as he can. Hauling himself to his feet, the crown of the sun burning on his brow, Akali darts forward with his fist raised. Infused with all the strength of the sun, the fist flies with force unmatched as it sinks deep into the chest of the beast.

The Void-Eagle stumbles back, shock and surprise playing out across its face--both at the feat and the fact that it still lives.

Twisting on the spot, it hurls itself into the sky with a puff of icy smoke.

I got a bit inspired, what can I say?

How Moli Got his Glass Kunna (Shard)
How Moli Got his Glass Kunna

"Hey dad, how did you get your Glass Kunna?" His youngest, Sindri Molison asked.

Moli Sindrison blew glass. He blew - too hard. A crack. Another failure. About him was a box of broken glass pieces. His tutor, the thrall, Senbeb, a man from a land called 'Egypt', sighed.

"Lots of practice with making glass, Sindri." Moli answered.

His father Sindri had an eye out for Craftsman on the raid onto Egypt's shores. He was a craftsman himself, but only in pottery. Glass was more glorious, and so Sindri wanted that craft for his son. So now Moli learned glasscraft under an enthralled foreigner. Learned by example.

"Like, how much practice?"

With bleeding and burnt hands he tried again. He was NOT going to fail! But wounded hands made poor craftwork. Blood made for glass stained poor. Moli was young and unwise. Naivety made for imbalanced work. The result was a mockery against glasswork.

"Until my hands bled wasn't enough. It was only when my pride bled that I understood. It wouldn't be the same for you."

The thrall offered his own work to his hand. Pity. A masterpiece of glassware. But it wasn't Moli's. It would be a lie. He And what would he be worth? The young Moli shook his head in outrage as he rejected it. The piece fell from Senbeb's outstretched, offering hands as the man stepped back in surprise and shock.

"How would I get a Kunna like you?"

A horrified Moli stared at the glass as it fell. Blue. Beautiful. Broken - Soon to be broken - It touched the floor. Cracks fled up across it's surface, as if it too was in shock itself - Then it split apart, shattering into broken shards. It was no more for this world, and it Moli who broke it. All of it burned into the memory of the young Moli.

"Kunna.. it's a subset of Muna, when something so important happens to you, then it becomes a part of you. That you understand what it is."
