Little Ritsuka and her Loving Family (Fate/Grand Order)

Illya: PBBBTTT!!! O-O-O-O-Onii... no shirt... mu....guh.... (drop)
Kuro: Geez Illya, overreacting to a small stimulation like this, you still have a lot of growing up to do.
Ruby: Kuro-san, your nose bleed is gushing like a geyser.

EMIYA: (Sigh) Really now, appearing like that. Overcompensating much?
Saber: Mhm, good work Shirou. You have been training and keeping yourself in shape despite the situation on hand. I expected no less from you.
EMIYA: .......(So it's her fault....)
Ritsuka: Papa, why aren't you wearing a shirt? You'll catch a cold, if you don't wear something warm.

Well if Charlemagne/Gudao is going to show up, maybe the mother could be Sakura?(I mean come on, she needs love too).
Saber Alter: You have become sex- I mean, stronger Shirou. Truly you keep beyond everyone's expectations.
Saber Lily: Sh-shirou-kun! (covers nose to keep nosebleed at bay).
Charlemagne/Gudao(Ritsuko?): (Feeling yet another sense of inadequacy): Ehm, father, I think you'll like to put on something before you kill someone by blood loss.
Muramasa: 'Kheh, I can't believe I have a show off for a greatgrandson (Beat) Oh well, at least he's not half-assing it.'
Lancer!Cu: (Grinning mischievously) Heh, I see missy had an even better eye for her choice of man than I thought.
Sasaki: (Smiling snarkily) Oh, I can see that Saber's master is always full surprises.
Medea: (Cupping her face with both hands, hiding her blush) H-how indecent.
Berseker: (Silent, but his expression of respect says more than any words he could mutter).
Luvia: Sh-she-she-Sheeero! (collapses from nosebleed).
Hel: '...I know the man is certainly sight-worthy but collapsing is exaggerating it.'

As for Gudao being the son of Sakura, I'm not sure if she could get safely pregnant after the thing with the worms. :(

Paternal or maternal?

No, because the paternal grandparents she will summon as Assassin!EMIYA and Caster!Irisviel, but the maternal ones she will have to wait for teh F/Zero Event Singularity... and I do not know how Ritsuka-chan will feel regarding Aoi and Tokiomi...

Aoi and Tokiomi are traditional mages so they can be bit jerkish though imho they seem like the type of grandparents who spoil the little ones rotten

The image of Ritsuka playing with Grandpa Kerry and Grandma Iri is certainly heartwarming. Maybe Tokiomi and Aoi could be willing to let some past grievances behind for the sake of their granddaughter.

This sounds weird, but if it comes to talk about sakura children somehow, I think manshu would be better than ritsuka / or, of course, as an adopted daughter.
although I clearly prefer the real parents of moms, that is, no one else but romani dad, (second dad) da vinci-chan and fou as official pet (AKA third dad), ah and lancelot also counts, as second pet berseker Of course
by the way of tokiomi treats one of his nonsense of suitable magicians, I hope that kiri blows his head, we only need a grandpa after all, well maybe two if we count on Grandpa king hassan

Aoi wasn't a magus, she was just a normal woman who happened to have a sorcery trait useful enough for Tokiomi to decide to marry her - much to Kariya's dismay. So Aoi would probably act more or less like a 'normal grandmother' but Tokiomi might still be a bit of a prick. Keyword there being might, because as far as I can tell the dude did genuinely care about his family despite that whole 'selling off Sakura' thing.

If Sakura have children, they would obviously be the BB trio, like there any one else that fit

Rin: "....."
Ishtar: 'I must admit, you have very good taste for a mortal.'
Sakura: "..."
Parvati: '...oh my.'

The problem is that Tokiomi would take one look at how Ritsuka and Rin turned out (and Sakura, considering she's definitely around with Rider) and declare that he was right to make that decision, forcing both of his daughters to become stronger, and producing a grandchild in the process of saving the world. For all that he cared about his family, the man's pride would never allow him to admit his wrong in something like that.

And then Rin would probably punch him.

Right, having just seen the end of Extella, I now really want an Altera Lily Form, especially because it would be adorable to see her play with Ritsuka

Since you brought it up, I have an idea about that. As you said, the worm thing as well as being part of a Lesser Grail, had an unfortunate effect on her reproductive organs. She had several close calls of miscarriage when having Gudao, but she managed to give birth safely, however, new problems came about.

Gudao was sickly child at the time, having to be on constant watch and spent a part of his early days of childhood at a hospital. It was then discovered that while he had excellent magic circuits and potential as a magus, his body was too frail and weak to maintain and was slowly killing him. The only way to save him was to cut off his magical power entirely, and it was agreed with Sakura and Shirou with the rest of the family supporting it saying: "Their son's life is more important than magic."

The problem is that, if that were the case, Gudao wouldn't be able to become a Demi-servant since he doesn't have the magic to sustain the fusion.

On a more humourous note, I have a headcanon that both Gudao and Charlemagne are into metal.

I actually meant the Emiya's but I guess you could include the Tohsaka's and now that I think about it I wonder how they would fell that their daughters would rather be with a third rate magus then anybody else. Hmm the possibilities.

The Gudao backstory is interesting but if he didn't have magic how did he bond with Charlemagne then?

Well the same could be said about Taiga since as far a we know was just a normal human without magic herself. Though it's possible that I maybe mistaken and probably missed something like she had some unknown hidden potential for magic or something. LOL

So here is the solution for the magic problem.

While Gudao lived a happy life with his family, he felt like he didn't belong. After all, being surrounded by magi who can travel dimensions, create legendary weapons, and other miracles, a legendary king and a feared being in Ancient greek mythology, he would feel like he was the odd one out of these people. Added to that, his sense of inferiority when comparing himself to his talented younger sister he loved so much.

Wanting to be more he began researching for a way to restore his former power, which lead him to asking his UNCLE SHINJI for help, yes he was that desperate. Though he has mellowed out over the time, he is still Shinji. (Of course Gudao did punch and broke his nose when a particular fact of Sakura and Shinji came up.) As it turns out, while most of his magic circuits were unusable there were still latent power within him to be a magus albeit a 'faliure' as one.

I was thinking something along the lines of "Just barely strong enough to Activate Mystic Codes" and "Rin-Mama spoils him rotten with Specialized Mystic Codes"

Most Mystic Codes take power and convert it into mysteries. Gemcraft lets you store it for later, but most codes need a minimum power to cast the embedded mystery. If you couldn't cast the mystery without the code even if you were trained in it, you couldn't cast it with the code.

Actually, not quite. Mystic Codes are pre-loaded spells. Just shove mana in and you'll be able to cast. It's why canon Ritsuka, despite being a crappy magus with bad circuits and no training in magecraft, can still utilise Master spells with the various uniforms.

I've heard the bad circuits thing several times, but I've never been shown a source. Do you have one?

As for the other part, how did what you said differ from what I said? A Mystic Code is like a machine, that when provided power by the magus and triggered, performs an action. If your user doesn't have power for their machine, it doesn't work.

Imagine that prana is clay, you can carve it by hand or put it in a mold, but either way you need the clay.

It's the TM wiki, but here: Mystic Code

Sorry, the way I read your statement was 'if you can't cast the spell without the code you can't do it with the code', which is the exact opposite of the reason why they make Mystic Codes.

EDIT: Ah, I see my mistake. You were specifying mana cost, which I didn't pick up on.

Or we can carry on ignoring the trash's existance? Unless we pay just enough attention to boot her out of every universe, that's okay too.

(Before you get up in arms, yes her back story is good. But her execution in the original vn is ass which makes what could be a compelling story (heavens feel) into an unbearable slog as every interesting character from the game prior is removed or sidelined so we can spend hours reading about oh how tragic Sakura is. The only nice thing to say about sakura is that thanks to her we get to interact with an actually interesting character by the name of Rider.)

So no, lets not devalue Gudao by making Sakura his mum. In fact how about using this opportunity to develop a girl from the archery club who is worth while.

... congrats @RyubosJ, your post is guarantee to summon here from wherever it was lurking Mike, also know as the Sakura Knight. Prepare to a massive Sakura-centered flame war.

Okay, so I wasn't going to step in to this conversation because I didn't care all that much and it was fairly harmless. Plus if people want to write an omake or something of Ritsuka having siblings, then I'm all for that. But I personally have no plans to give Ritsuka any siblings right now in my main version and probably never will unless I suddenly get a really, really strong idea.

But if it's going to escalate to attacking characters and baiting people, then I'm going to have to ask that it stop. This would be an incredibly stupid reason to have to get the mods in here because people can't be civil.

I politely disagree, while I understand your position, calling any of Type Moon's heroines underdeveloped or flat is incorrect. Sakura's themes are endurance, the point where it breaks, and moving past tragedy. This is echoed in how she summoned Medusa, who obeyed her sisters and endured their bullying until Poseidon's actions caused her to snap, at which point she rampaged until Perseus put her down.

Yeah honestly I didn't expect my request to escalate to something like this. I mean people have their own likes and dislikes and I think we should respect that.
