Lights... Camera... ACTION!!: A Hollywood Quest

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
Hi Magoose here one of the guys helping Duke.

So we have some bad news.

The quest has been canceled as duke does not want to write it anymore.

I'm going to ask if I can take over for it, because I like this quest, and it would be a shame to kill it
TBF, Mags, you have been doing a lot of the heavylifting for the quest, so this will be in good hands. :)

To be clear to everyone, this is just me burning out on imagination of the quest, since my muse has been hitting me over the head a lot with so many different ideas that I just can't find myself too interested in this.

I'll still hang out here, though, since this still does have a sepcial place in my heart.

I'd like to thank you all for making this a wonderful experience while it lasted.

I'd also like to thank @Magoose, @Fluffy_serpent, and @Martin Noctis for doing so much to help prepare and write this quest. I couldn't have done it without you all. :D

I'll see you all around.

With so many regards, Duke William Of.

Wait, when was that ever confirmed to be a thing? I thought Carrie just helped with the mechanics for the latest version.
Better to verify once and for all. @Magoose, do we own Dungeons and Dragons?
Imma keep digging, but I have a few receipts.
Hey Magoose, how's Carrie's sidehustle with D&D? What's her setting look like?
She does not have a setting yet. She kinda borrows other.
@Magoose is Orion Ultor right and Carrie owns DnD?
Not exactly. Call it a little retcon but Carrie create a few systems.

I mean I already said that.

I have already said she created a version of DND. 3.5 as I have said. Including several monsters and world, mostly from Conan so the kids can play around with their mom and be monsters and dragons.

When did people get the idea that we are the owners of dnd?

They hear that Carrie owns it, so they assume Bruce owns it, or need new reading glasses like me and were offline when the statement was made.

There's also the fact that the omake where the idea originates in Tabletop Fun by RealOtto buried deep in the early omakes has Carrie give the idea to Bruce, which is where the confusion starts.

...Couldn't have said it better myself.

It's all Otto's fault!:V:p

But hey, at least now we know what we'll do next turn...we buy DnD😈

Hey so... I had an idea for after I finish a few seasons of Spellbound.

Since I saw several comic book pitches and I loved the new rating system and whole having numbers to differenciate Marvel universes on the comic covers that @Orion Ultor suggested, I decided to come up with my own idea for a universe:

Marvel 808: Marvel Mangaverse

It's a universe that will be published entirely in manga format and many of the characters will have Japanese origins, such as Iron Man being a Japanese billionare who builds a mech (his hero name will be Iron Giant :p) and so on.

What do you guys think of the idea?

I love it! Ever since I read the marvel Mangaverse series of comic books I always wanted to see a continuation or a universe that is based on them!

Can you make Hank Pym like in that universe? A mix of Rock and Roll guitar player/scientist who has an optimistic and laid back attittude and can control ants with music? It would be so cool!

Magoose, I have but one request for the Cyberpunk of this quest. Could there be a specialist group for netrunner gear whose founders are named Sin and Phony based on George and Marcia? Because together they make a symphony greater than their parts? A digital equivalent to Malorian if you will.

"Wow, what a good movie that was. Right Bob?"
"Are you kidding me? That was the movie of the decade and the eighties have barely even begun!"
"Yeah can't wait for episode VI"
"VI? I thought their were only two movies?"
"Well... Yeah, but look the poster says V!"
"Well where are episode's I through III?"
"Do I look like a californian yuppie to you Bob? Heck do I know what these artsy stars are thinking"
"..... Still a good movie Bill"
"Of course!"
.... king of the hill?

You know a good tv series idea would be an original star wars anime taking place right after the battle of Endor, following General Ackbar and the crew of Home fleet one as they battle between the fragmenting but dangerous imperial army and the inner bureaucracy and politics of the Rebel Alliance culminating with the fall of Coruscant.

(this is just a raw idea so do what you want with the idea)

I love the idea and think it would be insanely popular in Japan as well as America with the growing anime fan faction....

Is comic con a thing yet? Because eventually I would love to see the insanity there. Doubly so with the idea of Bruce and Carrie going in disguise while cosplaying.

Heh. I think Bruce could do an epic Boba Fett cosplay, Carrie could pull of a Twi'lek Smuggler, and our kids could probably pull off Jedi younglings.

And if it ever gets out well.... That combo is one hell of a red herring

i think we should spend some money to upgrade ILM, if they could invented the digital camera with George, then how knows what they can do when they become bigger

I got chu fam

(Also, yes, this is an actual manga. Go check it out at the usual sites.)

We should make mangas for some marvel character, make it more readily available for the Japanese audience and less confusing for them as well.

Quick question, if we buy the company that makes DnD (not saying we would, ust saying a hypothetical) would that mean we are kind of creating a monopoly? Because if so we open ourselves to lawsuits.
