Lights... Camera... ACTION!!: A Hollywood Quest

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
Hi Magoose here one of the guys helping Duke.

So we have some bad news.

The quest has been canceled as duke does not want to write it anymore.

I'm going to ask if I can take over for it, because I like this quest, and it would be a shame to kill it
TBF, Mags, you have been doing a lot of the heavylifting for the quest, so this will be in good hands. :)

To be clear to everyone, this is just me burning out on imagination of the quest, since my muse has been hitting me over the head a lot with so many different ideas that I just can't find myself too interested in this.

I'll still hang out here, though, since this still does have a sepcial place in my heart.

I'd like to thank you all for making this a wonderful experience while it lasted.

I'd also like to thank @Magoose, @Fluffy_serpent, and @Martin Noctis for doing so much to help prepare and write this quest. I couldn't have done it without you all. :D

I'll see you all around.

With so many regards, Duke William Of.

So, a second space race even as a recession hits - even as the world's Communist Nations get pushed onto the backfoot the Americans unveil a new Space Program one that's meant to seemingly do the impossible. The Artemis Program, sister to the Apollo Program. Man is going to the Moon and this time, we're staying on Luna. All of it done under the symbol of the Rebel Alliance. Move over Stat Trek, the Enterprise isn't going to be the first named ship in mankind's anything now. It's Star Wars that'll dominate and thus in 2023 end up becoming as bad as the Star Trek of the day /s.

But for real, this is quite an interesting implication of the culture roll. US says we're going back, we're staying. And it's flying our colors - our symbol. And that's just the surface. That's what we've seen with that part of the roll. You've got the massive Star Wars obsession and other hints sprinkled throughout that update as to what our culture roll did.

Now… Steven you gotta go balls to the wall when it's your turn. Don't fail us now.

So 1.7 billion USD, nearly 6 billion in Merchandise and 780 million-ish in VHS sells. Altogether I think that's a rather hard price point for any other movies to really beat.

1.7 billion just for watching it in theaters is going to be ludicrously hard in my opinion, though in reality it might not, for many other films in the quest to surpass. We might sit there with the most money earned ticket sells wise for the longest time? But add all the other stuff in and I think we'll very much be ranking at the top comparatively to any future stuff given Inflation.

Oh boy when we get to do the MCU I say we play as captain America and also we do fit the part just need to edit so we look like a skinny man in pre cap transformation steve

Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back
*Thunderous Applause*
Ireland showed strong support for one of their sons and getting to brag that an Irishman directed and starred in Empire.
Time to capitalize with the Emerald Campus, me thinks.
Also for some reason, everyone just really loves Boba Fett for some reason. He's probably the poster boy of the movie alongside Yoda, and Dave is really hyped to capitalize on this through his Mandalorian culture that he wants Boba to be a part of.
This is the way.
Lando was an icon to the Black community as a testament to the power of Black Actors and the great roles they could play if given a chance, the definition of suave and cool who showed who Han could have become and that it's never too late to change and fight for what's right.
Have an Black directors come forth asking us to fund their projects? 'Cause I'd like to not only see that, but see more of Cleavon Little from Blazing Saddles. Underrated lead actor, should have been in more projects as such.
Jimmy Carter was at the Kennedy Space Center, with a huge rocket that was in the background, reminding you of the Saturn V rocket that sent a man to the moon. Instead, it was a symbol... a new starting gun. And a certain symbol that NASA had asked days in advance, to use. A certain Star Bird of a rebel alliance, is now a symbol of mankind's next step in space travel.

Closet I got to what I pictured. AI Generated.
NASA has begun the Artemis Program. A Program meant to set a permanent, manned colony on the Moon.
Fixed typo...unless you meant that to be a shot at Carter's administration.

So was Star Wars the only thing showing in theaters for a couple months? Also colonizing the moon, let's get to it.

There's a certain jealousy I have of that generation who got to see the original trilogy live, as it came out and in person.

UGH its one of the few things that make me feel " Le Wrong Generation" syndrome...
You should see some fans who like the sequal trilogy even though it sucks they don't know how destroyed it is to true Star Wars fans because it ruins the characters

For your consideration, Robin Williams in The Playground:
The young father having served as a US Marine, rank of Sergeant.

The young father at the academy, seven years previous.

The young father while he was dating the mother.
The young father on night shift, as of the last two years.

The young father, midway through 'The Playground'.

[EDIT: That last pic took over forty-seven attempts, each one coming out with Robin either looking like a grandfather or made him out to be Mario.]
