Lights... Camera... ACTION!!: A Hollywood Quest

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
Hi Magoose here one of the guys helping Duke.

So we have some bad news.

The quest has been canceled as duke does not want to write it anymore.

I'm going to ask if I can take over for it, because I like this quest, and it would be a shame to kill it
TBF, Mags, you have been doing a lot of the heavylifting for the quest, so this will be in good hands. :)

To be clear to everyone, this is just me burning out on imagination of the quest, since my muse has been hitting me over the head a lot with so many different ideas that I just can't find myself too interested in this.

I'll still hang out here, though, since this still does have a sepcial place in my heart.

I'd like to thank you all for making this a wonderful experience while it lasted.

I'd also like to thank @Magoose, @Fluffy_serpent, and @Martin Noctis for doing so much to help prepare and write this quest. I couldn't have done it without you all. :D

I'll see you all around.

With so many regards, Duke William Of.

I've got two ideas in mind for Campbell.
  1. A half-formed movie pitch tentatively called "Unforeseen Side-Effects" where a take on Jeckyll and Hyde has the twist where the main character, played by Campbell, wakes up in a room with a dead body. And his Hyde insists he had nothing to do with it. And he's right. And it turns into a crime dramedy where "Henry" and "Eddie" have to figure out who tried to frame them.
  2. The other one is simply buying Charlton and casting him as the Question.

Was going to do this normally, but this is funnier.

>Be me.
>Be happy that the timeline moved up.
>Hope that Sam Raimi would be alright with us shooting the actions scenes.
>Realize a little late that's not the only thing the timeline moved up.
>Remember that Sea of Thieves (PoTC name jealously held by Disney) should be set to come out in a few years when Johnny Depp hits the scene.
>Start going through notes, look at one that has Elizabeth remain Pirate Queen of the South China Sea.
>Figure that it can be used as commentary about Hong Kong.
>Trying to puzzle out the logistics is a bit like smashing the square peg in the circle, too tired to puzzle it out right.
>Look into martial arts in Hong Kong during this time period, wondering if we can get Jackie Chan for the series.
>Absentmindedly think about how he inspired Dragonball.
>Pause to puzzle out when Dragonball was initially released.
>Look up the initial date of publication...stare at the screen way to long when seeing that the first issue is published December 3, 1984.
>Start foaming at the mouth, and rush to put together a networking package with Shonen Jump so that Sunrise gets first dibs on the anime.
>-[] Weekly Shōnen Jump: I am writing to propose an exclusive adaptation partnership between Sunrise Animation and Shonen Jump, offering our production expertise to adapt one of Shonen Jump's extraordinary manga series into a visually stunning animated series or feature film. With a team passionate about manga and anime, we promise to uphold the integrity of Shonen Jump's works while expanding their reach through our global distribution network. This collaboration would provide Shonen Jump with a trusted partner to bring their stories to life and tap into new audiences, ensuring a mutually beneficial and successful venture.
--[] Specifically negotiate the adaption rights to Akira Toriyama Dragonball series.

I'm just going to hand wave it as is calling in that Jim Henson favor.
Speaking of jim henson has he been able to his "dark crystal" movie he told bruce he wanted to do (The Muppet Movie, post 15,518)or will we have to help him for that ?

and if we have to help him is our animation studio able to handle puppet and stop motion ?(those two are usualy the job of animation studio right ?)

@bryanfran36 i am in need of a dice roll.

2 d100 dice rolls for pupeterieng by Jim Henson.

One can also be considered a reroll if the roll is low enough.

NORAID funded the IRA and in May 1981 the Justice dept. ordered them to register the IRA as a Foreign principal. Wether true or false it would damage our standing if Bruce is a big supporter.

Eh, it was weird because by 1984 there was a successful deal with federal attorneys that had it not only reopen its doors that same year but also have included into the court findings that the document proving their connection was made and signed under duress, which makes the whole thing look like a frame job. There's also the fact that historian Ed Moloney, the best journalist covering the Troubles and the IRA, disputed the charge given he tracked the money trail and found that most of the money went to support only the families of imprisoned IRA volunteers, innocent of such charges or not. The whole thing is further complicated by [and, correct me if I'm wrong], by the Britain [as well as Europe by and large] prescribing to the "guilty before proven innocent" legal model.

And given when we started in 1970, barely a year after the organization was founded, there was no narrative reason for Bruce to have been aware, beyond pro-Unionist accusations, of any shenanigans going on and could have therefore contributed charity in one form or another. Hell, if we had contributed and it was true, most of Hollywood already wasn't a fan of us on account of that whole debacle with that perverted director(?) [not to mention the whole Irish Catholic aspect] and we only really called home almost two years after we landed in LA, so Joseph wouldn't have been the one to warn us.

[EDIT: ...hey Magoose, we've since buried that perverted fuck, right? He's not still kicking around in the business anymore?]
