Lights... Camera... ACTION!!: A Hollywood Quest

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
Hi Magoose here one of the guys helping Duke.

So we have some bad news.

The quest has been canceled as duke does not want to write it anymore.

I'm going to ask if I can take over for it, because I like this quest, and it would be a shame to kill it
TBF, Mags, you have been doing a lot of the heavylifting for the quest, so this will be in good hands. :)

To be clear to everyone, this is just me burning out on imagination of the quest, since my muse has been hitting me over the head a lot with so many different ideas that I just can't find myself too interested in this.

I'll still hang out here, though, since this still does have a sepcial place in my heart.

I'd like to thank you all for making this a wonderful experience while it lasted.

I'd also like to thank @Magoose, @Fluffy_serpent, and @Martin Noctis for doing so much to help prepare and write this quest. I couldn't have done it without you all. :D

I'll see you all around.

With so many regards, Duke William Of.

[X] Plan A Chilly Ho-Ho-Ho-Hokkaido

...is it weird that name made me remember Japan's weird obsession with KFC on Christmas?

You know, do you think we should get a cooperation with Shounen Jump by asking some of their artist to make Star Wars manga?

Maybe some short stories and self-contained stories that George definitely would've like to show but unable to due to budget restraint or just simply the character having not enough screen presence.

I guess we can do that with our own comic section (LucasDraws? LucasComics?), but maybe compile both sides? Introduce manga to the American/Japanese market by having two different variety of art?

We could also try our luck and get European style comics (Which has also some fantastic flair, W.I.T.C.H being the one I recall the most.) into our own division as well. A true multinational comic/manga place.

Edit: Oh right, forgot to vote.

[X] Plan A Chilly Ho-Ho-Ho-Hokkaido
-[X]The Biggest Battle Yet: You are going to work with the Cameras, the Division of the JSDF, and your costume department to make this the most epic battle ever. It will be awesome.
-[X]Being in the Snow: Mark is complaining about the cold, mostly because of how light the snow is here, compared to other places he has been. He's a little scared that he will be not able to act so cold and afraid. You only smiled "I'll handle that."
-[X]Carrie's Strength: Carrie hasn't acted in years, but she's a little afraid she won't be able to hit her scenes as well as she wants to. But you instead gave a smile, and just gave a nod.
-[X]The Cold Plastic of the Droids: You want to make sure Anthony and Kenny are doing okay in the snow. Despite the fact, that a space heater is nearby to thaw out the parts.

Keep the actors and workers happy first, then we can do some experimental stuff later on.

Well I will say this:

While we are a truly multinational corporation that is intent on making movies...

We really don't have the people to do something like that.

Yet.

As cool as AT-ATs would be, I don't want to prioritize it over the well-being of actors on set in cold weather conditions.

So someone wants me to write them something.

I uh, politely told them no, because I'm doing too much.

huh... feels nice to not write something I don't want to write.

Thinking about the Hoth battle scenes.
It's a chance to show a more full picture of the Empire forces. And honestly, we could use it to show the intimidation over practicality vehicle design philosophy, the sheer elite nature of the 501st, and communication problems borne of officers covering their asses to try and avoid being force choked.
We might actually want to have the defenders outnumber the attackers to basically slam home why fighting head-on just simply wasn't feasible for the rebel alliance, in ways more visible to the audiance than letting things being colored by the plot armor protag group.

Thinking about the Hoth battle scenes.
Just reminded me...hey Magoose, can we get a scene of Vader running into Captain Rex on Hoth where the mad man is fully willing and able to take the fight mano y mano to Darth and only barely makes it out of there alive because A) his presence throws Vader off for a second and B) Luke pulls Rex out of the line of fire?

Want to see some payoff from this–
Alistairian Apocrypha IV: A King's Training
– or, is too late for a change like that?

I'm here to troll and chew bubblegum…

And I'm all out of bubblegum.

Meanwhile with Sony:D100 => 87

Oh my it seems they are getting butts into theaters with independent filmmakers by…

Wait what, they just… what the actual fuck?

Michael Cimino heavens gate was compleated under budget and schedule to be released in 79? When that fucker had to be delayed by his perfectionist and wierd looking ass. When he is notorious for being that dude in Hollywood.

And it's Oscar Bait too!

And it's giving Sony a reputation of independent, high class art! That no one else has!

What!

Sorry but no.

We're about to spend a lot of money on this film.

Well Lucasfilms money but you get the point. Plus we haven't casted Rex yet.

[X] Mifune's Home: Torshio is incredibly happy to see Star Wars is now in his homeland, and he seems to be redoubling his efforts, despite his scenes all going to be filmed in LA at the Lucas Lot… But here, he seemed to be far more… at peace.

[X]The Heavy Armor of ILM: You wanted to- OH MY GOODNESS! "WHAT ARE YOU GUYS DOING!?"

Um Universal is actually having some trouble.

Universals attempt to expand: D100 => 31

Like they got booted out of Japan trouble.

And a lot more trouble to come with Eddie fisher still under contract… and him being a douche.

Bad publicity on the way.

Meanwhile with Sunrise:D100 => 85

Gundam will not be a god damn fluke if they have anything to say about it.
