Lights... Camera... ACTION!!: A Hollywood Quest

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
Hi Magoose here one of the guys helping Duke.

So we have some bad news.

The quest has been canceled as duke does not want to write it anymore.

I'm going to ask if I can take over for it, because I like this quest, and it would be a shame to kill it
TBF, Mags, you have been doing a lot of the heavylifting for the quest, so this will be in good hands. :)

To be clear to everyone, this is just me burning out on imagination of the quest, since my muse has been hitting me over the head a lot with so many different ideas that I just can't find myself too interested in this.

I'll still hang out here, though, since this still does have a sepcial place in my heart.

I'd like to thank you all for making this a wonderful experience while it lasted.

I'd also like to thank @Magoose, @Fluffy_serpent, and @Martin Noctis for doing so much to help prepare and write this quest. I couldn't have done it without you all. :D

I'll see you all around.

With so many regards, Duke William Of.

So any chance that we can fund the Romania rebels, maybe hire some merc to help?
Well....
That would probably be tough, considering our connections remotely adjacent is purely the whole accidentally funding a massive rescue operation as part of our charity work.

On the other hand, we got the CIA's attention after very possibly creating a revolution with one of our movies. 🤷‍♂️

Dracula: Blood Origins
It's interesting to see what the script/pitch I pushed out so long ago has become. There are definitely some shifts from how I originally conceptualized things but I did enjoy seeing what it ultimately ended up as.

If people want some behind the scenes info or want to ask questions about stuff, feel free to ask and I'll do my best to get back when I have free time.
I make no guarantees about my ability to execute (other things are the priority for me) but lines like this really make me want to try and one up myself.

Oh well, at least we managed to get Ceaușescu killed.

By the way Magoose, what were the reactions of Universal to the movie? I mean, they made the first Dracula, so they must have an opinion.
They are shocked that Lucasfilms once again one upped them.

And made them look like bitches while doing it.

Brian may have just earned free shooting rights in Romania for the rest of his life, once they get free.
I can already see all the Youtube videos. "The Movie That Started A War," "The Movie That Started A Revolution," "The Movie That Killed A Dictator," "That Time Lucasfilm Started A War," etc etc. This reality is fucking wild.
Yep and it not even the 1980s.
So @Magoose how did the world react to Romania uprising against their oppression leaders from just a Single movie
Lost of confusion and that is all.

I just know that Romania will get lots of help from nato since the Soviet sphere refuses to help the Union on take them down but themselves and also NATO and the US wi definitely us this incident as an excellent proxy war that can actually let them win

So. Any stories we could take historical inspiration from to further flip the bird to the status quo?

*Somewhere in an alternate universe, Russia-quest finds a powder keg exploding in romania, all cause by complete accident, a Rising Star in the USA decides to pull out a Dracula Origin Story.*

A version of Anastasia? Not hard to make it VERY anti Soviet.

Give a sympathetic look at Nicholas the Second restraining from exterminating the early Soviets and seeking to balance competing interests only to be undone by unresonable and merderous soviets who tunred on themselves, Hint at the massive human costs of the Soviet takeovers, Swap out Rasputin for the Soviet NVKD and an unhinged Trotsky, convinced anastasias death will allow him to overthrow Stalin and bring true communism to Russia. End the movie with Anastasia in Paris as the partition of Partition of Poland happens and remind the world Who backed the Nazis first.

Does Don Bluth have a project at the moment?
